We have been taking out children to Gymnastic City for the past 5 years and couldn’t be happier! The staff is wonderful with the children and loves to watch them learn new skills. There are plenty of different time slots for busy families to fit in such a great sport for children. Having three daughters currently attending with my son awaiting to be the minimum age, we can’t imagine going to another gymnastics place for our children. I could go on and on about the great things gymnastic city has to offer but they’ve been in business for 46 years so the time speaks for itself! I really don't care if people think I have a bias but I have been working at gymnastics city for 15 years as a coach, and before that I attended their program from preschool all the way to competition team, and if i am being completely honest we have the best program in the general vicinity. I work with every age and all levels of team, from personal and past experiences I can confidently say our program speaks volumes about technique as well as safety, and overall coaching and gymnast performance. Although there are other gyms some may see as "better" is unfortunately not the case. At gymnastics city we cater to ALL gymnasts, whether they have natural ability or not. Not every child is born with a natural ability to perform gymnastics skills, but at gym city we ensure that EVERY child that comes to class is given the same opportunity. I have worked with multiple girls and boys with varying abilities, disabilities and special needs and have seen other coaches do the same and foster and cater their abilities to help them perform these skills to the best of their ability. Any family that has come to gymnastic city from another gym, has said what a difference they see in the coaching here. We CARE about all the kids, not just ones with talent which I see A LOT at other gyms. Most other gyms do not care to help those who struggle. Anyone who has attended gym city and then left for another program they believed to be better has ended up either, upset, hurt, bored, or just loses the love for the sport. In the 15 years of coaching I have watched girls with amazing talent switch gyms and end up quitting overall. It's so much wasted talent that could've taken them very far if they had stayed at gymnastics city. Personally speaking, and through personal experience I can confirm that gymnastic city does EVERYTHING they can and MORE for their families and gymnasts. We go above and beyond here, anyone who doesn't agree ruined it for themselves. I will never stop progressing every one of my gymnasts no matter what!

I think for younger kids this place is ok. But as they get older, there's better options in the area. Im friends with several parents who have removed their teens to go elsewhere bc of rude workers who treat their kinds unkindly.

Horrible quality of ownership and the way they treat their customers. Gym City staff traumatized my 4 year old to the point she refused to participate in her class. After bringing concerns to their attention the owners became rude and aggressive instead of acknowledging the shortfalls of their coaches and program. Owner Elena told us ‘we don’t want people like you’ at the gym and threatened to call the cops on us after we asked for something in writing that they agreed to give us a refund and they refused. They care more about your money than the well-being of your child.

Gymnastics City is second to none. Gym City has been home to my, daughter, Chance, since she was eight years old. Chance is now sixteen. And has blossomed into quite a young lady. Thanks to the love, compassion and understanding of Elena and the Gym City family, who has adopted Chance as part of their own. Elena and her staff have proven in more ways than one that they are interested in the nurturing of the "whole child" physically, socially and emotionally. Words can never express how grateful I am. My daughters have been attending rec classes at Gymnastics City for a year and are excited for their second year. Each week I sit and watch them and 40+ other young girls work HARD and have fun while doing it! They are getting stronger each week and their skills are building. The coaches have all been great! Let me start by saying that Gymnastics City is not only a gymnastics school, it's a second home for hundreds of children, including my own.
It is a family run business for the past 40 years, and the treat their students like their own. The coaches are not only loving and caring but very professional. Their compassion and knowledge for gymnastics is extremely apparent. GC coaches children age 6 mths, all the way to 18 years old, coaching best gymnasts in the state of New York.
GC also has the best parties in Westchester! I have had all of my 3 sons parties there, and the children years later are still raving about them!!!!!! I can't say enough about this wonderful establishment!!!!

The staff, coaches are truly phenomenal. My niece visited from SFO with her 2 young children, we planned a birthday party at my huge backyard with air castle for them and their 30 friends on a Saturday. The weather called for rain- immediately we had to change plans. Spoke with Elena on Thursday and she made it happen!!! That Saturday we had their birthday party at Gymnastic City! It was amazing! From entertainment to the food and even birthday cake and goodie bags for the children. The coaches were fun, patient, organized and everyone had a wonderful time! Very professional and such a class act!

I would highly recommend gymnastics city to kids of all ages for classes and/or birthday parties. We absolutely LOVE the Gym City family. My sister and I both started when we were 18 months old… and 35+ years later, it’s so fun to watch our kids adore it as much as we did!! The coaches and owners go above and beyond to create a safe, fun and creative learning environment for the kids… especially during the past year. They have an incredible way of teaching not just gymnastics skills, but also important life skills — even to toddlers (e.g., waiting your turn, not giving up, etc) — while being supportive and making it incredibly fun. My almost 5 year old son is still talking about how he “practiced hard” so earned a blue ribbon on trampoline. And it’s really special to see the pride the coaches have in the kids… from the 5 year olds to the competitive team girls. We can’t wait for our next “nastics” day :)
