I love Iron vault...and it's been the best decision I made to sign on for a year at this location. I've been training at Iron Vault for an entire year, and today, I write my 5-star review reflecting my time here.
At Iron vault, my goal was simple: improve my Dead-lift and Squat--that's it. I chose Iron vault here because they have quality equipment: Rogue Barbells and Rogue weight plates that actually weigh the amount it's supposed to be (unlike cheap, old gyms in the surrounding area). Also--and this is majorly important for me-- I never, let me repeat:NEVER... had to wait for a Power Rack or Dead-lift platform--which is perfect for me because I only train those two lifts at Iron vault--and trust me: I want to get my training in and leave to do other things with my time/day.
As for the machines and other great stuff at Iron vaut, they are very nice and well stocked on just about everything. Arsenal Strength, Indoor turf and sled, stretching equipment, PLENTY of sanitary items, "booty Builder", plenty of cables and attachments, fast wi-fi, heavy Dumbbells, kettle-bells, everything is working, everything is in great condition, everything feels stable, and everything is VERY useful for your training needs.

Let me start with this, i’ve been going to this gym for around 3 years, and loved it up until these last few recent months. Iron vault used it be this spacious, low key gym with great equipment and serious lifters. The problem is that it’s completely 180’d from that
For starters, there’s way too many machines in the gym currently, 30% of which are never touched, such as these ridiculous “booty” machines. On top of all these machines, the gym is now infested with wannabe influencers who hog a machine for 30 minutes, trying to get the best shot with their $2000 cameras
My biggest complaint with IV currently, is the staff. Not because they are bad people, but because they literally do nothing. They have one job, to re rack weights and make they plates aren’t mixed, but instead, they spend their whole shift scrolling tiktok, eating food, and walking away to go talk to their friends. There’s one worker in paticular, who literally only plays spanish music, and blasts it so loud to the point you can’t hear your gym partner who’s less than a foot away from you. All the workers are friends of the owner and are previous members of the gym, so it’s become one big circle jerk of friends working, while providing literally nothing to customers.
So in conclusion, the gym has great equipment, and great hours. The workers however, are atrocious and obnoxious, there’s literally 0 space to breathe between amount of machines and people (especially the wannabe influencers), oh, and the gym is outrageously $100 a month. Iron vault was a good gym when it was competitive powerlifters, most however, have left for obvious reasons. I really wouldn’t recommend this gym anymore

I almost don’t want to write this review, but maybe it will help someone out. 1) the gym has no changing rooms/locker rooms. There are only a few individual bathrooms which are always occupied. 2) there are only 2 treadmills and few cardio machines for the entire gym which are also occupied. 3) There are tripods everywhere with people (adult children) recording. You have to be mindful not to tip these over, ruin their footage, or be part of their video too. 4) parking is terrible. 5) For a place that prides itself on “iron equipment”, the equipment is unsatisfactory for real lifters. The wobbly benches definitely make you feel uneasy. I’ll give them 2 stars cause I feel bad leaving 1.

All these negative reviews are trippin. This gym is a staple in Westchester for serious, keyword serious , lifters . It seems most people hating should go stick to planet fitness or whatever other snowflake fitness gym fits their snowflake needs. I will say , parking could be better. And adding a standing calf raise machine would be clutch .

Didn’t even have to go in to get a bad experience. I called about a refund after emailing them and never getting an answer, and the manager on the phone was not professional about it. He was blaming me for accidentally choosing the wrong membership which I get but I was willing to change and stay there, and decided not to because of his reaction. Great way to keep memberships going Iron Vault!

Stopped here to get a workout in while here visiting friends. Young lady at the desk was super helpful, explained parking options to me which was much appreciated as an out of towner. Had a great workout, lots of great machines that I wish my gym at home had. I was definitely one of the smaller dudes working out today, so the ego was checked at the door today. I'm only here once a year but looking forward to coming back next year. Five star experience.

Iron Vault was on my list of gyms to visit during a trip back home to New Jersey at the beginning of this year. Pics are from Jan. 16.
With rating a gym, I like to go off a loose criteria of the following:
1. Vibe
2. Equipment
3. Layout
4. Locker rooms/Recovery area (sauna, ice bath, etc.)
5. Goods & Services
Vibe and equipment are always at the top of my list as these catergories can make or break a gym experience. Imagine the vibe at the original Gold's Gym in the early 1970's, or at York Barbell in the 1930's; it would have been an electrifying place to train. At their respective times, both of these gyms had innovative equipment as well. Another gym with a great vibe and equipment would be PWRBLD Gym in Conshy, PA, or their bigger location in King of Prussia.
Vibe has to do with walking into a place that makes you want to train. Some gyms have a ton of equipment, but due to the setup, lighting, and types of people training their (less "serious" people); the vibe can be terrible. Walking in to Iron Vault, I was immediately struck with a great vibe. The people training there ranged from very dedicated powerlifters, bodybuilders, Olympic lifters, etc. to gym bro meatheads, young high school/college kids, to other attendees (ages and genders varying) who seemed to have a high passion for training, whether they did it for fun, to look better, or just to be healthy. The bottom line is that this place attracts people who come to train. This isn't the kind of gym where you find many, if any, people standing around, lolly gagging. This is the kind of gym that attracts people who can appreciate great equipment, and probably know a thing or two about being addicted to the iron lifestyle.
Speaking of the equipment, Iron Vault is outfitted with brand new, Arsenal Strength machines, which are probably the industry's best. The dumbbells range from 5lbs to 150lbs, there are many squat racks, power racks, platforms, specialty bars, calibrated plates, etc.; all things that a true lifter pretty much expects at this point. On top of all that, everything is super clean, but you won't feel like you do at some boutique gym where if you sweat on the floor, you just might get kicked out. This place is the real deal.
I'll touch quickly on the layout, locker rooms, and other services. The layout is awesome. Walking into the gym, you are immediately at the front desk, which is a bit off to the side, giving you a view onto the entire gym floor. Straight ahead are some Arsenal Strength machines (which you truly NEED to try, as they are a difference maker) and an Arsenal lat pulldown, low row, cable cross (also a MAJOR game changer). To the right of this area is some cardio equipment, although this is not the main focus of the gym, there is plenty of machines for you to get a great cardiovascular workout in as well. Straight back beyond this are some leg machines, and other upper body machines. One more row further are a bunch of competition combo racks (bench & squat), deadlift platforms, etc. To the right of this is a turf area, and all the way on the back wall is the dumbbell rack, some other awesome Arsenal machines, a few more squat racks, pull-up bars, etc.
There are 2 bathrooms and no real locker rooms. This is kind of to be expected as I believe this is the first location and they did not have enough room to be able to builder a nice locker room, as it would have taken a ton of space away from the gym. They may have rented out another part of this building by now, and may have plans for a more full locker room/recovery area, but I cannot confirm that.
When you walk into the gym, you can purchase some pre-workout energy drinks, which is always a plus, and there's a smoothie bar as well for your post-workout needs. The apparel that they sell is very cool, with some intricate designs.
This gym becomes a true 5 star gym with a full locker room with saunas, showers, ice bath, etc. That being said, if you are in the area and are serious about training, this should be your new home - or at least home for a day like it was for me.

Good gym. New equipment. People focused on their workout. Younger crowd, so lots of cameras out, which can be a little annoying, but it isn’t that bad, and everyone is respectful. I’d sign up but the lack of shower makes it a non-starter, since I workout in the morning before going to work, and having to go home to shower and then go to the office isn’t practical.
But if that’s not your situation, I’d recommend the gym.
The price is appropriate for what you get (new gear, cleanliness, good vibe, generally focused crowd, organized facility)
…and for what you don’t get (private parking, shower, lockers, more square footage, additional cardio machines)

One of the best gyms in the NY Westchester area - spacious , clean , well equipped with extremely helpful ,cooperative staff and most importantly the membership deals are very straight forward and doesn’t confuse people or even scam them out. Pretty basic commitment of 3 months to begin with which is great for first timers etc.
The equipment variety is mind boggling each divided carefully into zones as per the body parts . Free weights galore for those who like their heavy weight lifting .
For those who are into CrossFit and cardio they have enough machines too and a huge space and track for doing those type of workouts . I was surprised at how much they have packed in this place .
Access is kept till Pretty late after hours.
Brightly lit, Clean towels and tidy gym , some might miss out on a locker room with showers but I guess I am not complaining looking at the kind of superb facility they have put up.
Highly recommend this place to beginners to professional weight lifters.

I recently joined Iron Vault and have really enjoyed it. It's open 24 hours, has great equipment and is really clean. The cleaning person is super thorough and is also really nice! The staff is also quite nice and enforces the rules of the gym, which I appreciate and you don't find everywhere. Also, lots of different types of people are members here, and everyone seems to respect what the others are doing, even if it's not their style. Also no confusing contracts to worry about. Overall, it's been a great experience.

Tik Tok "Trend" Gym - Save Your Money
Total lack of amenities no locker room, no shower, sauna (not offered at norwalk yet same price), loud music that bleeds through airpod pros, no dedicated parking...
The only reason i tried this gym was due to 24 hr access and that does not justify the price for me.
The place is crammed (and guessing under 1000 sq ft) with nothing to show for but a couple expensive rogue bench presses and some kg plates.

I've been in gyms all around the world. To walk into a gym as beautiful as this for $99 a month and there be no locker room or shower is downright embarrassing. I cannot imagine what the owners of this place we're thinking. This makes absolutely no sense. Just decor and weights and maybe a nice staff doesn't cut it. This is the village of Scarsdale and members these days deserve a lot more than just beauty and weights. Possibly they'll will be some expanding and hopefully we'll have a proper men's room and ladies room with showers, and a nice sauna. For $99 a month there should be towel service as well. I do recognize that there's no contract but big deal. Who in the world wants to leave a gym dirty. Also, try and find a place to park and it's next to impossible. If you don't mind being dirty and you're a hardcore weightlifter, this might be the place for you. No classes to speak of, you're on your own, and it's open 24 hours. If you dare, give it a try it's worth looking at all the pictures on the walls.

The staff has been down to earth and continue to put their members and clients above all else with best of grade training equipment for all purposes (i.e. general fitness, powerlifting, body building, etc.) Iron Vault has also gone above and beyond with their recovery equipment including thera-guns,
and compression therapy. The cleanliness of the gym is also something that has always stood out to me. The gym was kept spotless and sanitized long before the pandemic even hit.

This is the best gym in Westchester County and possibly all of NY. You will not find a cleaner gym with more state of the art equipment. This gym is suitable for any athlete or if your just starting your work out journey and want to find what style of training is best for you. Each member is serious about their own goals and is responsible enough to clean the equipment after use and rerack any used weights. I have been weightlifting for over 10 years and can confidently say no other gyms (especially corporate owned) can compare with the quality of equipment and the atmosphere that is condusive to focusing on achieving your own goals. You wont regret singing up.

Management is unprofessional. I called to inquire about canceling and when I had to. Just because I called to inquire about canceling my membership they took it upon themselves to cancel on there own without me even saying so and all the front desk said to me was “your not in the system anymore so I can’t help you”. My biggest issue was the fact that when I was considering changing to another gym my partner contacted the owner to determine what the policy was regarding cancelation. He had first been informed that if you have been recently charged you’d have access to the gym for the remainder of the month. I then find out the next day that MY membership was canceled based of the phone conversation that they had with my partner, not me. I don’t know of any other gym or business for that matter that would cancel someone’s membership without speaking to the actual member. I had been been charged 3 days before they canceled my membership without speaking to me directly.
Also, I think it’s highly unprofessional that a friend of mine left a negative review and the owner then decided to send a private message on Instagram regarding the review.
I’ve had memberships to numerous gyms, both commercial and private, but this is by far the worst experience I’ve had at any gym. While being a member at the gym for over a year, there were multiple occasions in which I had been made to feel as it I, along with other acquaintances (who all happen to be POC), were not welcomed. There were numerous occasions in which a member of our group was either approached or contacted in an unprofessional manner. An example of this is that a member of the group had been fined without any notice despite the owner being present while we were at the gym. When my acquaintance called to determine what the cause of the fine was, he had been informed that he had been fined due to OTHER MEMBERS not reracking their weights so he was the only one charged due to his association.
To say the least, this gym left a terrible impression and I would not recommend it.

1/5 stars due to the unprofessionalism I experienced while being a member. After the height of COVID ended I decided to switch back over to my much more lower costing gym and when I called to inquire about cancelling my and my girlfriend’s account, I was told by the gentleman on the phone that the membership would still be active until the end of the month. My girlfriend had just been charged a few days prior to this phone call so it was only logical she would still have access to the faculty until the billing cycle ended the following month. This was not the case at all as the account was fully cancelled that same day the conversation took place! When I asked for a explanation, I was only told that “this is just the way we operate.” I feel robbed and taken advantage of as a customer for over a year! Poor business skills and professionalism from such a YOUNG organization. Shame.
