Hands down the best programming I've ever had at any gym. Chad is the best and knows what he's doing. Members are all friendly and motivating. Definitely a great place to get in the best shape of your life!

Island Athletics is hands down the absolute best gym I could have picked while working in Port Washington. The community, hospitality and overall experience from the moment I walked in the door was unmatched. I alway felt welcomed and motivated to bring the best version of myself to each workout. Chad is a great coach that helps and motivates you through each workout and will provide modifications if needed. I enjoy his workouts because they are different every day and push you out of your comfort zone.I truly can't say enough great things about this gym, my only regret is that I didn't start sooner. This gym will forever have a place in my heart and I only hope I can find that when I head back home. Forever grateful for Island Athletics and the friendships I made along the way. This gym is and will be the reason I want to come back to Port Washington ❤️

5 stars is not enough! I came to Island Athletics twoish years ago after my third child ready to feel like myself again. I did a trial and loved it but realized I couldn’t make any of the class times. So Chad (the owner) and I would meet a few days a week at off times when I was able. Sometimes I had to bring my baby. Sometimes all three. They’d take apart the gym and he’d attempt to build a baby jail with gym equipment. But he was always willing to help me make it work and I’m so grateful. I have never felt so strong. I can do pull ups, chin ups, muscle ups (ha jk not yet), and push ups. I love the structure of the classes, too. I love how there’s a strength portion and then the workout itself. Chad is so good when it comes to creating different workouts. I don’t think there has ever been the exact same workout since I’ve been there, and honestly, that’s hard. Guy must be a genius. Also, the community of people is so amazing. Everyone is down to earth, welcoming and super supportive. Island Athletics forever.

My Second Home! When I moved to Port Washington I tried out all the gyms in Port so I could choose the one I liked the best since I hoped I would be spending a lot of time there—and I landed on Island Athletics. It was the only gym I could find that really had a focus on both lifting/strength and cardio. In the year since I’ve joined I’ve gone from only being able to do ring rows to pull ups and even some ugly chest to bars and I can almost move my own body weight in all the barbell movements. Chad (the coach) can come off as grumpy but I choose to believe that really he thinks I’m the best thing since sliced bread and just wants to make sure I’m sliced bread with some Nutella and bananas on top. Grateful for this place.
