My doctor had recommended I start weight training with a trainer and I finally took that step and joined Kathy Joyce Fitness. To say I never believed I was an athletic person, is an understatement. Within the 2 1/2 years I’ve been working out with Kathy, not only is my body stronger than its ever been, but with her expert guidance, encouragement and incredible knowledge, she helped make important corrections with my form/posture and supported me to change my old beliefs about my body’s capabilities. As I’m approaching 60, I can say my body is in very good hands with Kathy and I’m beyond grateful to have made this commitment to my healing and strengthening. Added bonus, she has excellent taste in music and her attitude and great sense of humor really helps my work outs! Kathy is the best! 💗🥰💗

The best gift/investment I have ever given myself! The last 10 years presented incredible challenges to this past fitness buff. I fell off the fitness wagon due to multiple tennis injuries and neverending hours in PT. Throw in personal stresses and “life changes” and I ended up with a cocktail that led to more weight gain than I care to share and a tremendous decrease in muscle tone and self confidence. Apprehensive about being in the “fishbowl” environment of my local gym, I sought out a workout option that was more private, yet not in my own home. At Kathy Joyce Fitness, I found an environment that was highly personalized, private and incredibly supportive - and BEST OF ALL I HAVE SEEN GREAT RESULTS! For years, working out and even just doing things like brisk walks would leave me in pain. The Kathy Joyce approach is much different than other trainers I have worked with. My trainer, Anthony, in collaboration with Kathy, created a program specifically for me that focused first on mobility and getting my body to a point where exercise would no longer be painful/debilitating. I was a little skeptical and impatient at first because I was not used to this kind of an approach after having worked with several trainers in the past, but I am now building strength at a pace that is much faster than I expected and I have even been able to incorporate other complementary forms of exercise into my routine so that I can workout on my non-training days! Since starting in June 2024, I have felt a complete transformation - I’ve lost close to 10% body weight, several inches (1-2 pant sizes) and regained significant muscle mass & self confidence. Pain that I experienced doing everyday activities and any form of exercise have greatly diminished. Going to Kathy Joyce Fitness has been the best decision I’ve made in years. I have gotten so much more than I initially came here for - I feel like I’ve invested in my health for the future.

Today marks 3 months working with Coach Ron at Kathy Joyce fitness. I can’t say enough about the positive impact and experience I’ve had since starting my sessions. I am progressing every week and look forward to continuing my journey. Kathy’s holistic approach to fitness and wellbeing is welcoming no matter your level. Kathy Joyce fitness is top notch! She trains you smart, personalized, really focusing on your form and muscles you didn’t even know you had! I have been working out with Kathy for more than one year and I can’t say enough about how much she has helped me.
Together we have worked through my shoulder, pelvic, hip pain, all of which are gone as of today!
She has helped me build strength while transforming my body, all in the comfort of her own gym where we work one on one.
Her ability to simultaneously care for you and help you push your limits exceeds anything that I have seen in another trainer.
I am seing Kathy and Ron twice a week and it never gets old.

Went for a partner workout with coach Ron and absolutely loved it! Ron was extremely knowledgeable and personable making the experience that much more enjoyable. I would highly recommend working with Ron to help achieve your own individual fitness or recovery goals!

After many years of not exercising, I finally build up the courage to join Kathy Joyce Fitness which is a private studio where I receive private training sessions from Coach Ron. I shared my goals with Coach Ron and he is dedicated to helping me achieve my goals. I am always impressed with how much time and effort he puts into every session. I also ask many questions about the benefits of a particular exercise and he eagerly explains the benefits and/or modifications he made to fit my needs. I love that Coach Ron is passionate about helping others feel the best they can, knowledgeable and flexible which is exactly what I need from a personal trainer.

I've been training with Kathy Joyce studio for almost 2 years and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I've had many personal trainers in my past, and this has been the best, most effective, experience by far. As a middle-aged woman, their workouts are smart and tailored to my fitness level. I feel taken care of by the entire staff and look forward to my workouts every week. I also had chronic shoulder pain from a past injury, and through our work together it's almost vanished. I've learned so much about my body and even nutrition. Really, I can't speak any higher about Kathy Joyce Fitness!

Deciding to workout with Kathy Joyce and remain a long time client has been one of the best decisions. Kathy constructs a specific exercise plan giving you a total body workout while always making sure you understand the proper technique of each exercise. As you progress, Kathy enhances and helps you build your strength and confidence in your body by always introducing new exercises. You will never be bored working out with Kathy Joyce!

I have been training regularly with Kathy Joyce for almost 6 years. She is the best! Her knowledge of exercise and physiology is tremendous; she's always tweaking and adapting my workouts for my personal needs. She has a gentle way of pushing me to do more, but never too much. I also enjoy our discussions about food and nutriton. And, her Covid safety protocols are top-notch!

Kathy is great! She really knows what she is doing. She is great about watching and correcting my form (I have worked with others who did not do so). She has helped me when I’ve injured myself doing other things-she always seems to know the right exercise or other thing to do to fix the problem. I’m a physician and I think her knowledge of human anatomy and physiology is impressive. She’s also very helpful with practical advice about nutrition. Has helped me enormously.
