This gym is honestly gross. Machines are always sweaty and sticky, nobody wipes anything down, and the smell hits you as soon as you walk in. The floors look like they haven’t been mopped in weeks, and the bathrooms… don’t even get me started 😩
I’ve been to plenty of gyms, but this one really needs some serious cleaning and maintenance. It’s not cheap either, which makes it worse. Super disappointing — feels like they just don’t care about hygiene at all.

I really like this gym! It's always clean and very well organized. The equipment works great and the space is comfortable. I especially love coming at night - it's peaceful and still has great energy. The front desk employee at night is super friendly and helpful, always smiling and making sure everything runs smoothly. I definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking for a good place to work out!

The gym has a decent range of equipment and overall it's okay, but there are a few issues. On weekday evenings, it gets very crowded, and the paper towels for wiping down machines are often not restocked promptly.

Tonight, the staff member on duty and some of his friends were chatting and seemed to be competing to see who could clap the loudest. It was distracting and really affected my workout experience. I hope the management can address this kind of unprofessional behavior.

KGym: The Most Frugal Gym in NYC

KGym is truly the peak of minimalist gym culture:
• The AC is just for show. There’s a handwritten “Don’t turn on” sign to let you know: sweating here is not optional, it’s policy. Saving energy at all costs—literally.
• No paper towels outside, just a passive-aggressive sign in the bathroom blaming customers for past plumbing crimes. Genius.
• Staff? Cold and distant, as if they’re allergic to customer service. Perfect if you like to be ignored while overheating.

I think this is a great gym. It’s in my neighborhood so getting there is a huge convenience for me. It offers more weights than cardio equipment, unlike the gyms I used to go to. Either way, it's not crowded at the time I usually go. In my opinion, the membership is worth it.

Price is crazy for what this gym offers. Limited resources, not enough space, locker room is ridiculously small. Very crowded. There was no hot water while I was coming here. I signed up at a good deal when they first opened but when I saw the regular price went up to $450 per year I decided to go elsewhere where they at least offer amenities for a better price.

I can agree with the sentiment that the gyms price is absurd for what it offers. For the current price of 450 a year, the only REAL value this gym offers is convenience if you live close.
For the same price, you can get a membership at Bodhi which offers more workout equipment, bigger space, and amenities.

Don’t get me wrong, I was a member at this gym for the last year, and really enjoyed it. However, I don’t see myself renewing at these prices JUST because it’s close to where I live.

Considering Equinox and similar gyms are over $230 a month these days, this gym has just as much equipment as similar mid-size gyms, if not more, and the price is extremely reasonable. While it may not have a steam room or sauna, there is great value for a gym of this size in downtown flushing. Very clean and friendly staff.

This gym could do better. They only have 1 leg extension machine and its been broken for a week now. I also don’t understand their logic, They have a group of people cleaning and mopping all around the area non stop while everyone is still using the machine. An example would be that while you’re doing your sets, a cleaner steps in and starts mopping around you very close. Honestly this should only be done before closing the gym to not disturb the momentum of those who are working out. Anyhow, I still would go here, I just wish they have a better way in maintaining their equipment once it gets faulty.

Chose the 3 month plan for about $80 a month, very clean and nice gym, went and was pretty empty so no need to wait for any machines. Joined the gym about a week ago and is a lot bigger than what I expected from the available pictures. Cardio machines are on the first floor and the weights/equipment are on the second floor. I do not find myself having to wait around much for machines/weights due to the size of the gym. The gym is also kept very clean and does not have blaring music on the speakers that I usually encounter at other gyms. The gym does not seem to provide group workout classes like other gyms but that is a non-factor for me. I got the annual membership which seems to be cheaper as well compared to the gyms around the area. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a decently priced gym that has what you need without all the unnecessary frills.
