KidStrong Commack continues to be a place of personal learning and growth for 2 of my children. My son has been attending classes since the center opened and has grown athletically and emotionally since his time here. He's become more resilience, more accepting of teaching, and more understanding of how self-control can lead to positive outcomes. My youngest daughter (2 yo) started classes this past July and has also shown physical growth and an ability to socialize unlike anywhere else. It has helped her come out of her shell and with her verbal abilities. KidStrong Commack even treats my non-KidStrong member child with the utmost respect and care as if she was a member of their classes. KidStrong Commack has certainly been a home away from home for our family and a place of incredible growth. We are forever grateful to these incredible coaches for their love and care helping us build a stronger family!

We had our son in previous programs but our experience at KidStrong commack location has been the greatest so far. Our son is very shy and does not follow instructions very well but the coaches (especially coach Zack) have being doing such a great job at encouraging our son and creating the structure he needs to grow. We had a great experience. Overall, my child did great and loved it. The only issue was the downtime between activities, which was difficult for him since he can’t sit still (he’s diagnosed with ADHD). Your gym should consider opening a class for kids with special needs. All children should be included in programs like this, and you have something really wonderful going on here. It would benefit all populations with the right support.

Some other gyms provides a one to one with a fee. Maybe that could be an option for your gym along with a special needs program?

My son had an absolute blast! He’s still young (under 3) so he struggles with taking direction and staying on task. But he really enjoyed his time in class! And from a parent’s perspective, I could tell the coaches really care about the kids! They truly wanted the kids to have fun, build confidence, but also met the kids where they were at. I thought the site was clean, the coaches were kind and energetic, the program mantra (of being brave and independent) is unique and on-point for little ones, and the activities were engaging and very age appropriate. Kidstrong commack was great! My daughter said she had a lot of fun, the staff was friendly and welcoming ..the camp was very filled I would say for not that huge of a space, tons of kids but they seem to manage it very well esp separating the older kids from the younger… the one thing I didn’t like is that they did not check ids on pick up, not sure if they remembered me from the morning but still always a good idea to double check.

We’ve been a part of the KidStrong family for just over two months now, and without a doubt, it’s been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

If you’re even thinking about enrolling your little one, don’t hesitate. I promise, you won’t regret it. The growth we’ve seen in both of our children has been unbelievable. My son is lucky to have Coach Kate and Coach Julia, who are nothing short of amazing. As for my daughter, Coach Hayden, where do I even begin? His big, energetic personality radiates throughout the gym. He brings the kind of energy that lifts everyone up. He always knows when to give her that extra push and when she needs a little boost of encouragement. The connection he has with the kids is truly special. He makes every child feel seen, capable, and strong.

And we can’t forget Coach Xandy! Her wacky, funny personality adds so much joy to the gym. Whether she’s coaching or just hanging out and cracking jokes, my kids absolutely adore her. She has a way of making them laugh and feel completely at ease — she’s the fun energy that ties it all together.

A few months ago I would have been leaving a different review. While my child was enjoying the classes we were not always able to get to the classes on time due to a change in my schedule and rescheduling was challenging. I decided that I was going to cancel. That’s until the manager Kaia came on board and totally turned around my whole experience. Not only was she able to find a solution to help make up the classes, but she also gave me choices to be flexible which I love. Kaia is very responsive and gets back to you within a reasonable time frame. Total game changer since she’s been onboard. My child absolutely love his class and loves his new coaches. Shout out to coaches Mayu, Will and Julia. A is soo proud of his Atlas status, he’s always looking forward to his classes. He loves the challenges and competitions.

But my daughter had conflicting schedules about 3 months ago and she could no longer make it, my wife and I had tried to call every week for 3 months to cancel for the time being with no return calls nothing, finally after countless calls some one answered my call and we were able to cancel the membership for now, they would not refund me for any of the past payments even though we left plenty of messages, well it turns out who ever I talked to never canceled our membership and we were charged again, the communication with this location is terrible and nothing has been done so accommodate our issue, I don’t have time to sit on the phone and call until someone answers, also we had issues in the past with calling and no one answering or returning our calls, I really don’t know how you can run a business like that

It is a positive experience for both of my sons each and every time we come to the studio. They are learning life long skills that carry over in our every day interactions and have given them both confidence. We love the coaches and the energy the studio offers each week. Our boys bring the energy and experience home and hold their own KidStrong classes complete with coaches awards :)

We signed up before the facility opened and were told that they would “wave the registration fee and include a welcome package”. We ended up getting charged a registration fee a few weeks later. When I called to point out the error, I was told that they were sorry and were going to give us the second month free, I thanked them as that was very generous. We stopped going the second month due to schedule conflicts and when I checked my statement I saw that I was billed again. When I reached out to inquire about a refund and additional information via phone and email multiple times, no one ever got back to me.

The facility and coaches were great and we had fun when we were able to go. Unfortunately, the empty promises and lack of communication made this a negative experience.

I highly recommend Kidstrong Commack. As soon as you walk in all the employees are extremely friendly and helpful. My son absolutely LOVES going to Kidstrong. Usually he is shy, but not at Kidstrong. Also the facility is extremely clean which is definitely a plus.

Wish this was around when my son was younger! He definitely would’ve been enrolled from little to 11. He really enjoys it - last month they had a focus on public speaking, this month tumbling, every month changes to a new milestone for them! It’s clean, has a great program, great coaches and is so much fun for them! 👍🏼🙏 so sad my son is 11 and will be aged out of this in the Fall! It’s a definite must for all children, and all families! 👍🏼🙏

Couldn’t rave more about this place! The facility is so well built and spacious! My son had his first class today and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! He is only two and it is difficult to find programs for him to engage with other children while also using up his energy! The structure of the class is more than we could have asked for because it’s not just about the physical activity, but also about boosting their confidence, structure, and self regulating techniques. The instructors are all super friendly and know exactly how to engage with the children to make them feel comfortable and they knew everyone’s names off the bat! We are so excited to watch our son grow with this program! They even offer summer camp sessions but it’s for older kids! Highly recommend to enroll your kids!
