Prices are way up and quality way down. Outdated n broken equipment, pool closed, usually limited a.c and some front desk kids are unfriendly and uninnviting (no personality) signs of poor management .. hope things improve!

I'm a new member and I have to be honest here...I'm a little disappointed. I do understand this gym is under new ownership and to be honest that's exactly why I haven't cancelled my membership. Let me explain...it's 30 dollars a month with a yearly 90 dollar maintenance fee. If this gym was fully functional this price would be a steal. However at the time of me writing this review that's not the case. The gym has tons of amenities and tons of free weights and racquet ball courts, a spin room, and a separate cardio floor as well. It really is a great place to put your head down and get a great workout in. My two biggest complaints are the sauna always seems to be broken and the pool is closed for maintenance. I also have a feeling that the pool might not be included in your basic membership. That might cost extra. As of now I don't know because the pool is being worked on. The staff are nice people and the location to my house is another big plus. Give them a try. They also have a location in Setauket that I want to try out as well.

Pool is DISGUSTING!!! Tile is filthy I would NOT walk in there without shoes. Pool floor is full of patchwork. Needs to be gutted and redone.

My son and I love this gym. Staff is very welcoming front desk and billing department. Great machines free weights. Been going here for few years and their wantagh location is excellent also. They keep the equipment clean and in working order. It’s a real gym many options classes also. They have weights for Body Builders here also. Swimming pool is good temp.

The best gym ever. I have tried other gyms like Golds gym in Middle island but Longisland Health & Racquet in Coram is far better. The locker rooms, bathroom and the shower rooms are very clean, actually spotless. Everyone is friendly and I get to focus on my workout and get great results. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The place needs a little polish but it has a pool and the price is reasonable. It also has a lot of gym equipment. Overall a good value especially when compared to other options in the vicinity. Also staff are helpful and nice.

Had a birthday/pool party here recently and was quite disappointed with some facility issues. For one thing the party room (which is their “nursery/ child care” room) had no a/c. It was quite a hot day out but that was part of the reason I chose an indoor facility was for temperature control and to NOT have to worry about the weather. It was really hot & uncomfortable & embarrassing to have guests sweating. We also had a guest who needed elevator service and then we got locked in the elevator because once we got down to the pool level no one could get the elevator door to open! We eventually just went back up to the the upper level until they did finally fix the situation. But that was not only another embarrassing incident, but also took time away from that child being present with her friends at the party. Also, upon arrival I was asked if I had ordered pizza…which was included in the cost of the party. I was initially told no money was left to pay for the pizza (although a deposit had been given, and the balance paid at the start of the party). This too was resolved, but it was a bit unnerving to be asked & wonder if our food would be there for the party. I left for vacation the following day, so I followed up with an email to express my issues and concerns, but it’s over a week later & I didn’t receive a response. To be honest, after the issues with the a/c and elevator, I would have expected for them to reach out to me. Unfortunately I would NOT recommend them.

Really great place that definitely cares about your well-being. I've had to change my appointment times a few times and they were really accommodating. They don't push you unless you are ready for the next step. Ron and Josh are really good.

They charge us a surcharge in the beginning of the year. Don't tell us. Then in the raquet ball ct. No one wears a mask and the person on duty is on there phone. This is why gyms get shut down. What a shame.

Staff needs to pass information more freely. The hours on the window still say 5am. Clearly not the case, its taped on the window so easily taken down. Nearly paid for a teen membership until I caught that its only for 1 location.
I just started my membership I may cancel and find a gym else where that opens idk before people have to be at work

Super nice place, I was struggling to get active again after being bedridden for 4.5 months and a year of physical therapy. Through the help of a trainer and the helpful staff. I'm back on track. To top it off when cleanness if a top priority, they clean often and provide sanitizing wipes for you to use in every area of the gym and patrons are expected to clean machines after every use. I feel safe a unintimidated here

Friendly staff awesome, clean equipment. I just joined the whole family did as it's kid friendly which is a plus. This place is more than just a gym there's tons of stuff to do and for the kiddies as well. Including raquetbakk tennis camps swimming the daycare is clean and they're very welcoming. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that's looking for a family friendly/kid friendly gym! As I have a membership at planet fitness that in canceling only went twice bc I need child care with my schedule and now I have the luxury to go whenever I want. Swimming lessons for cheap too my daughter is going to do...
Great gym! Not to mention I paid 24 bucks a month at planet fitness barely any free weights just cardio that gym and I'm paying the same price here at worlds gym. Management is awesome too!

The gym is really clean and the staff is nice. I love water aerobics & the pool.....I am very unhappy with the managers decisions. I use the pool every weekend for water aerobics. Last year I went 100 TIMES!!! I love our instructors. I am very unhappy that the management keeps changing times on us. I work all week long and I am not available for water aerobics during weekday classes. We are ladies and guy that support the pool all year long. Its our funds that keep it running. We have had classes cancel just because, ( Sunday Labor Day weekend- other classes were not cancelled) ARE instructor was available. We had class time on the weekend changed because camp..but there is no camp on the weekend I think the management does not care about the pool people. $30 per person per month times 30 people is a substantial amount of $ ...We should be put first! No Camp Not swim instruction classes.

The place is nice, good equipment and the people who works here is great, BUT, I enrolled myself for a year and they said it gonna be 30 a month, and for some reason they are charging to my auto paiment $78 a month, then I make the complaint in the front desk and they start telling me about a lot of hide charges, and also charged me $150 for cancel my membership, unbelievable my month of gym cost me $238, this is crazy, don't get me wrong, the place is nice, but a lot of hiding charges.

Been to a few gyms and they aren't too bad but for some reason I fell in love with weightlifting at this gym. A ton of freeweights to use. could use 1 extra squat rack for when it's busy. People are pretty chill here no issues no meat heads here and if there are they ain't around when I go. The staff are very friendly and a great help when needed.

The friendliest staff ever! Barbara at the desk always greets you with a smile and a big hello, Lucy works so hard keeping the gym spotless and Jamie is always helpful. Great workouts with Lou. Love that my 10 year old can exercise at the same time I do. I have been to a million gyms and this is my favorite.

This great gym with a great staff. I have been to a lot of gyms and I can honestly say this one is my favorite. They re did the gym recent;y and it is really a great place to work out. It is the only gym that seems to have no creeps just people that want to workout out in piece.

This gym is terrible. Me and my daughter went there last year during the summer. After a couple of times we said forget it! Last year my daughter was 11. While I go upstairs to do my workout she does her workout in the kids gym. She hated it! She kept on telling me she was getting bullied in there. A big black boy who looked more like a teenager she told me try to took her ipod touch away from her while she was on the exercise bike. What I am p*ssed about is that they didn't even do anything about it. They just said to her "Ignore him". My daughter also kept on telling me that she feels like she is in a daycare center in the kids gym. N

Now for the pool:

I leave my daughter there while I'm upstairs doing my workout. She was crying to me that staff is rude. When she jump into the pool (She did not dive) they yelled at her "YOU DO THAT AGAIN WE ARE GETTING YOUR MOM!". They would also yell at her for no reason. That's when my daughter cried "I don't want to go there anymore!".

This gym is just terrible; rude staff, horrible safety, and no protection. We will never go there again.
