My gym Harlem was our go to facility from about 7 months until our daughter started nursery school. She would go 3 times a week and still had a great time. They added the texting function, which was really helpful. We still go to My Gym on holidays and when we just really miss everyone!

Wonderful experience for our toddler. She was a little late to walk and this gym gave her the confidence, tools and guidance to feel more secure on her feet. Lovely instructors who always ensure individual attention is paid to each child but they also respect the kids' boundaries and do not overly push them if they're not comfortable. I recently attended Ivy and Bohdi’s birthday party, and I must say, the experience was truly enchanting. My child couldn’t stop smiling the entire time, which speaks volumes about the atmosphere and activities provided. Coach Matthew was exceptional—he managed to engage every child throughout the event, keeping them entertained and active. The highlight was definitely the balloons that fell from the ceiling, which brought so much joy to the kids. I’m genuinely impressed by Coach Matthew’s ability to manage such a large group of children single-handedly, ensuring everyone was happy and involved. My child had a wonderful birthday party at MyGym. We had a range of children of aged mostly 3 to 4 year olds and they had a blast. The coaches were friendly, enthusiastic, and made sure we had exactly what we needed. MyGym Coaches helped us set up our party, break things down, and make sure each kid was safe, engaged and having fun. During the party both parents and chaperones were able to talk and socialize while watching kids.

If you are considering of holding a birthday party in Harlem I highly recommend holding it at MyGym. We initially planned on holding it in at a Playground but friends and family advised to hold it inside to avoid weather and rain issues. MyGym worked out perfectly because it rained the day of our party!

We have been members for a while and my daughter really loves it here! The coaches are really great, attentive and the most PATIENT humans!!!! Everything is always clean and the kids in there always have a blast! It’s a very nice sense of community, the other parents/baby sitters/nanny’s who take the other children are usually very friendly so it’s nice from a parent’s perspective if you’re chatty like me! We love this place so much - our 2 year old Ro has been coming here three times a week since he was about 20 months and has a blast all while developing social and gross motor skills. He LOVES the movements they do during circle time and even does them at home by himself when we play music. He used to feel uneasy being around other kids, but now he's much better about it. He loves all the coaches - RJ, Matthew, Keivonte, Annie, Joy, Ava - they do such a wonderful job with the kids, knowing all their names, and making all the classes fun, and they all work so hard. We love all the family events they run, and our son also had his 2nd bday party here, and all the parents were amazed at how well the place was maintained and the dedication of the coaches. The coaches at this gym are PHENOMENAL! I’ve been here for 4 community events and each one is better than the last. The ease of transitions between activities, the way the coaches have 2 main activities set up to keep children engaged while they participate and setup for the following activities is magical. My child gets so upset when it’s time to leave because he gets to express much in just 1.5 hours! Gymnastics, dance party, bubbles, cars, obstacle courses, trampoline, parachute, group a games and songs…the list can go on! I wish my child went to school closer to this location so I could take him regularly for classes. Absolutely the best children gym I’ve been to hands down and always very well maintained and clean.

The Coaches at MyGym are great. My baby was super hesitant at the beginning and was firmly attached every time we went. But coach Keivonte made it his personal goal to find out what she likes. Now she has a great time at MyGym and goes spontaneously to coach Keivante and Annie when there are skills. It took months of hard work from the coaches to get there. She loves puppet shows with Coach RJ and coach Kelsea signs back to her when she signs thank you for the end of class stickers. Definitely recommend, the space is large and clean and the kids (and care givers) have a great place to make friends.

I was in NY for a birthday party for a friend's kid. We ended up at MyGym and I have to tell you, it was great! They were so great with each of the kids, the games and activities really kept the kids engaged, and the staff even looked like they were having fun. The place is clean, colorful, and great location as well. I wish I was coming back sooner but the staff encouraged me to find a local gym near me so I could be part of the MyGym family! We had my daughter's birthday here a few weeks ago -- she goes to at least one class weekly, and it was the only place she wanted to have her party. Coaches RJ and Matthew were phenomenal, both in their facilitating getting the party organized/decorated/set-up/cleaned up, but also in their emcee-ing the whole party and making it accessible and appropriate for a wide age-range of kiddos. They took the extra requests we had into account, made my daughter feel special and celebrated (without putting her on the spot) and kept 15 energetic preschoolers busy and engaged for nearly 2 hours (while also communicating effectively and clearly with the parents about the expectations were). Already planning on doing her next party there :)
I should also mention that the team ahead of time (including Colby, Meredith, Liz, and Katie) were all consistently awesome in helping us get the party organized the way we wanted, and kept an open line of communication right up to the day of the party about organizing the outstanding details. Overall a really fun and enjoyable experience (which isn't always what you expect when planning a kid's birthday party...).

My son has been attending Mygym for about 2 years now, he’s 3.5 now. It’s the absolute highlight of his week. There’s a huge selection of classes and schedules, and the unlimited package is completely worth it. They have great events for the kids on top of the scheduled courses every couple months or so. The coaches have the patience of saints, and are so kind with the children. Honestly, it’s such a gem of a place to have to take your child to in the city, so you always have something to do.

Coach Keivonte and his colleague (SO sorry I didn't catch his name) threw a fantastic birthday party for my 5 year old yesterday afternoon, They handled set up and pizza ordering and most importantly they kept the kids engaged the whole time with a variety of activities that both allowed the children the freedom to run and be crazy while also organizing some more structured games. They worked so hard the entire time, while keeping a sense of humor. I was also impressed with how they hold down the clean up from previous party, set up of our stuff, running the party and then of course helping us with clean up.
They were both fantastic with the kids and adults, treating every guest with respect while keeping good safety parameters and listening boundaries for the kids.
If you're looking for a birthday party that will offer lots of physical activities, a personalized playlist, and great facilities (rock wall, slides, bars, mats, trampoline etc) this is your spot! On the way out I heard kids saying "Can we come back here?" and "Can I have my birthday party here?" And that's the best compliment of all! Thank you to the wonderful staff of My Gym Harlem.

I’m disappointed and it was a waste of money, my toddler attended and she was new and we did not feel comfortable at all first off we was not welcomed I had to keep askin what should we do next , I always felt like I had to say sorry cause everyone had a sour face , the workers was not friendly did not socialize with my toddler just asked our last names for check in and that was it , their are more babysitters in the space on their phones then actual parents and it’s not a diverse place. It’s more of a space for baby’s and infants . The workers only socialize with kids that they know , they are not welcome arms at all .it better to take your toddler to the park then here. We absolutely love this MyGym and all the coaches here. We started out with the two-week trial last year when our daughter was one year old and she loves it so much, she goes to a class there almost every day even though we live a 30 minute walk away! We just held her 2 y.o. birthday party there with two of her favorite coaches and they worked so hard and made her birthday the best we could have hoped for. All of the staff and coaches are super friendly and helpful. The coaches are so energetic and engaged and they remember all of the children's names. It's really amazing how creative they get with all of the activities there which switch on a weekly basis. I can't say enough good things about this place. DONT DO IT! So expensive and hard to cancel membership! I emailed asking to cancel my membership, 2 days later I was charged $179 for one child and $125 for my other son plus the $29 trail charge each! For this price I can join equinox with childcare in house! You’e better off going to a playground or story time and free play at the local library - even swim classes don’t cost this much! No one answers emails but they text which I find unprofessional and evasive. Had to report the charges as fraudulent. THE WORST!

This is a happy and magical place that has done wonders for our child. We first joined with a summer promotion in July 2022, and from the very beginning it was exceptional. The coaches are friendly, skilled, and caring. Because our child could see other kids crawling and walking, he was able to learn from them and interact with them. He has so many new friends, learned so many new skills, and most importantly has a blast every time he is at the gym. I get to capture the most beautiful and happy smiles on camera when he is at the gym and that has motivated my mother friends to consider different movement and activity based gyms for their respective children. I recently was able to have my child's birthday party hosted at the gym and it was the best party ever. The coaches helped with set up and cleaning and had a whole catered program prepared because they know what my child likes and they did an absolutely amazing job. I could not recommend this place enough. This place will always have a special place in my heart and I am privileged to have the amazing coaches be part of my son's formative years. The location, staff, and mission make Mygym a great fit for our family. My daughter immediately decided she has a favorite coach, Coach RJ, who she goes straight to every time she has attended. She thoroughly enjoys her time there and as a pandemic baby who hasn’t had enough contact with other babies, I can already see the impact of the socialization she gets there. Many of her milestones have taken place in the classes if not immediately after, including her first steps. Before having a child I always knew I wanted to do some type of mommy&me class. When I found the MyGym Harlem location I knew this was going to be the place where I can come with my son Josiah. This location is always clean and the equipment is constantly being rotated. My son has been going to MyGym Harlem since he was 9 months old. He absolutely loves it ! I love how much independence he’s gained and all the friends we have. Josiah has such a great relationship with all the coaches. It’s so sweet walking in every morning being greeted on a first name basis. At 18 months old Josiah has memorized the circle time routine, so we even do it at home now. If you are considering MyGym Harlem definitely try it out, you won’t regret it.

The classes on the website are not accurate. I wasted time and money traveling to the class to find out there was no class at that time. I read reviews from others about this same issue, so I decided to call before going. I called 3 times and no one answered the phone. When I arrived the excuse for no one answering the phone was that the manager called out. Meanwhile there were about 4 employees sitting around doing nothing. DON'T DO IT! FIND A BETTER OPTION. They have classes on the schedule but they don't really exist. As a result, I accrued 4 make-ups and was told I couldn't use them unless I paid for the next month. I ended up doing that, thinking I could just take my child to a lot of classes that normally do exist, and skip the naps. then they weren't there even for the usual classes. Now I have 8 makeup classes, I was charged for the month, and the location is dark. We were standing outside with our children.

Gym is often closed without notifying parents. It has happened at least 5x in the past month. We understand that emergencies happen - but they could at least notify parents in advance or call us back to explain.
