I've had some interesting experiences with NYC Elite Gymnastics for two different birthday parties I attended. For one of the birthday parties, after the cake was served to the kids and the party was over, there was plenty of leftover cake. So I (the parent) asked for a piece of cake. The NYC Staffer told me no, the parents were not allowed to have a piece of leftover cake. (The host later told me she had no idea why that happened and was apologetic.) At another birthday party, the staff allowed two ice cream cakes to sit out during the entire party. So by the time the kids ate the cakes, they were all melted. Those were my experiences.

There’s something about the staff that really elevates this place. They are so kind and helpful. At many other places, they seem to enforce rules when there is no need, using the most irritating word “unfortunately” without abandon. This place isn’t like this. They are normal and nice, and in todays world, that’s a huge strength. This review is after enrolling my 6 year old in one week of gymnastics. She loved it! Highly recommend!

all the kids who do gymnastics here seem to love it, including the child I nanny. The coaches seem personable and the classes stay on schedule. Plenty of space for adults to stay, though it's not the easiest to actually see what's happening on the mats

Very expensive but unprofessional. The coach is unprofessional and can't even demonstrate the correct movements. The average group class is $80 per class, and the place is very crowded. My daughter didn't get any skills in that place. It's more of a place to play than professional .I would recommend Chelsea, the place is huge, the coaches are very professional, and the average class is only $60. Every lesson learns many new skills.

Seems like a great program for little gymnasts so far! I didn’t see any boys enrolled in classes. They have cameras so you can (kind of) see what is happening in the other gyms. Instructors vary, coach Teak is kind and wonderful.

Nice place...just there is one lady on the counter that shouts out to the kids so loud when they try to run on the lobby.
But the coaches all are very nice.
And this is a great place to bring kids to gymnastic.

We entered our 4 year old son in the early (8:30) Saturday A.M. class. The positive was the class was sparsely attended (4 kids abg.). The huge negative was the lack of motivation in and by the "coach" Cathryn. Normally, she arrived barely on time, then the kids spent 10 minutes in the foam pit while she got caught up with her co-worker about the night before. Only after I stared a hole in her, and on SEVERAL days actually had to ask if she planned to do ANY gymnastics that class would she reluctantly began to do an uninspired guided walk through obstacles and half - hearted guidance on the beam. There was very little effort made to actually "do" anything beside pass the allotted time for the class.... minus the first 10 minutes, of 45! In the obligatory foam pit.
I would never waste the money to send my child to this glorified, and costly, playdate.
I can't answer for the other instructors, they at least seemed engaged, but ours left a lot to be desired.

This is the most exciting,awesome and fun gymnastics facility to go to! The staff is so nice and pushes us to do our very best and reach our goals. If you need help talk to the staff and boom problem solved. I really recommend this place to go to gymnastics.
You will learn so much and the facility is big enough to fit many kids. If you love gymnastics then this is the place for you to go to.

I'm from UK and my daughter Ntayha dream was to train in gym in USA and NYC made her dream come true.. Ntayha had amazing experience her coach Christine was amazing along with girls in her group she now wants to move New York be part of your team lol.. All staff were very friendly helpful..
