There comes a point as we age where consistent movement/weight training shifts from being optional to being essential. Nearly two years ago, I set out to find a gym that I could become part of…not just to show up to work out and leave, but one where I could make connections that would help me sustain the commitment I was making to myself. I chose OTM for the terrific culture that Coach Mike and Coach CJ have cultivated since at first glance it was evident that it is a supportive, down-to-earth, fun community which has proven to be a welcoming environment for all ages and fitness levels. I participate in private training since, at nearly 62, proper form and injury prevention are vital to my success. Coach CJ and Coach Mike have done an outstanding job helping me achieve my potential trial and recognize my strength. I couldn’t be more pleased with my decision to join OTM and look forward to continuing my fitness journey with the OTM team!

I’ve been training at OTMF for two years with Mike, and I can’t recommend him and the entire team enough. I originally started to recover from a broken foot and to build strength and balance- but along the way, I lost 40 pounds, gained tremendous strength, lowered my blood pressure, and just feel great overall.
Every session is thoughtfully tailored to your level, and there’s always a perfect mix of yoga, Pilates, weights, and cardio. You can work out one-on-one or alongside others, but it always feels like you’re the only one there—so much individual attention and support. The community is amazing too—so many friendly faces, that make it easy to get up early in the morning and work out!
Our son also trains with CJ when he’s home from college. CJ’s been instrumental in helping him with proper lifting technique, building strength to prevent injury and developing the mental side of training that’s so important for collegiate athletes. They stay in touch regularly, which shows the level of care and commitment this gym gives every client.

I've only been at OTM for a few months, but Coach Mike and Coach CJ make me feel like I've belonged forever. I'm not someone who naturally incorporates training into my day to day, and certainly had no intention of getting involved with personal training, but the energy at OTM is so kind and genuine, it immediately makes you want to be a part of what they're building.
Not only do I fully trust their knowledge and experience when it comes to the actual programming, but I also deeply respect their holistic approach to feeling better through movement and physical work. I went in with incessant lower back pain and a lingering shoulder injury, and in less than 2 months I had forgotten I had ever suffered from either - the pain is totally gone!
Coach CJ ensures my workouts are challenging enough to keep me progressing (and surprising myself with what I can do if I stop telling myself I can't...), but he is also so phenomenal at listening to my concerns and celebrating my little wins. He and Coach Mike ensure the work focuses on both mind and body, and are so supportive of each person figuring out what it is they need, what their most important goals are, and how the OTM family can help layout the path to achieving them.

I had always been nervous about joining a gym until the day I walked into On The Move Fitness. Coach Mike greeted me at the door and instantly made me feel comfortable. I've been going to On the Move Health & Fitness, LLC since the end of 2022. I appreciate the small classes with dedicated and motivated trainers that pay strict attention to form. They can modify/personalize any exercise you need: whether it’s for your fitness level (low or high), or because of a previous injury, or in my case, through pregnancy and postpartum recovery.
The coaching at OTM is different than previous experiences I’ve had. Some gyms’ business models focus on enrollment numbers, and making money, not the members’ long term success. There’s nothing motivating about that. At OTM, I never felt like a number or part of an enrollment gimmick. OTMF Coaches have been steadfast with demonstrating that they care about your journey and your success as much as you do. It’s about fostering longevity and relationships. Your success is their success, genuinely.
Most notably there is a welcoming and supportive environment with the membership at this gym. You want to come, challenge yourself, and do your best.

I've been working with Coach CJ at On the Move fitness for appx 3 months and I'm incredibly happy with my progress. I joined about 5yrs ago with chronic back pain from herniated discs and poor diet. I used to not be able to get thru a workout without sharp, radiating pain from my low back into my hips and days or weeks needed for recovery. My body was in a constant state of inflammation and I truly believed this was permanent until my health and wellness journey began at OTM. Mike encourages you to look at your diet and listen to your body. He celebrates the wins along with you and will continue to coach you until you feel your very best. Fast forward to now, I am living pain free, eating a healthy anti-inflammatory diet, and am the strongest I have ever been. This journey has been truly remarkable and I couldn’t be more grateful for Mike and CJ.
Mike and CJ are the positive influences you need! The way they push and motivate each and every one of us to be just 1% better every day not just in the gym but outside as well, shows their true passion and dedication behind it all. Each workout starts with low impact stretching and exercises for those targeted muscles before it’s game-time to give your full potential. Have any injuries? No problem! As an ex athlete that has suffered from numerous shoulder injuries and surgeries, I have to say, it is a huge blessing to have found this gym. The attention to detail, the care that goes into my specific workout plan and the variety of exercises and stretches I am exposed to daily is amazing. I haven’t felt this good physically in years. Coming from someone with really bad social anxiety, trying a new gym was really hard for me but I decided to take the leap and I am so happy I did. What a great place to start, continue, or maintain your fitness journey. I started at On The Move because I wanted more out of my workouts. I needed someone to challenge me more and push me to my best. Once I started with Mike and CJ I felt better about myself and more confident in the movements. We’ve worked a lot on my posture/ stance during certain positions. You wouldn’t believe the change in my back and legs once I understood how my body moved. I no longer have back or shoulder pain because I learned how to set my stance before movements. They have classes every week, twice a day, which helps with a busy schedule. They offer a variety of workout plans to meet your needs. SOOO positive and everyone is there to help/push each other to their best. Mike has so much knowledge about fitness and he cares about everyone that walks through the door. He really cares about his business and is always putting in 100%. CJ is a great personal trainer and helped me figure out why certain exercises were so painful for me. Would be the best decision to start working out here.

Unmatched!! Mike and CJ are incredible coaches and pretty cool people :). The knowledge, energy and understanding each of them bring to their sessions is like no other. I have watched them guide people of all ages, sizes and walks of life and it’s life changing.
I have trained 1-1 with both Mike and CJ, trained in semi-private sessions and consistently attended group classes. I have never seen results (muscle gain, weight loss, better mobility and flexibility so no aches or pains) like the ones I saw when I used all the resources OTMF has to offer. I moved mid year 2023 and even continued training with OTMF piloting their online platform. I cannot wait for this to hard launch because I will be first in line!
Lastly, Mike connects with so many like minded people. He connected me to a Physical Therapist who helped me work through up body issues developed due to my job. The OTMF community is something special and you will feel your absolute best.

If you are looking for professional, personalized training, then ON THE MOVE FITNESS (OTMF) is for you. Mike is an exceptional trainer that inspires, challenges, and motivates you to do your best. One-on-one sessions are for you to work on your form and goals while the group classes are for applying what you’ve learned. Mike keeps classes fresh, switching up routines to confuse muscle memory and keep boredom at bay. What could be better than having someone else design your workout and all you have to do is show up motivated? I joined OTMF because I started to feel weak and that's not how I want to live my life. I have experience with gym machines but not free weights. I would look at that section of the gym and think I cannot do that because I know you need the correct form to have results and not injure yourself. This is where Mike’s expertise and experience have been the key to my success. I chose to work with Mike in one-on-one sessions, plus the classes. Mike has taught me proper techniques to work around my current injuries (not related to my time at OTMF) and avoid future ones. The most important thing about the gym is the environment. Everyone is kind, fun, and encouraging, which makes going there the best part of my day. I’ve been training with Mike for the last 5 years and it has been a life-changing experience for me and many others. I used to have daily back aches from standing all day long at work but through targeted exercises and overall strength training, I rarely have that pain anymore. If you are looking for a place to build real strength and mobility then this is your gym! I started at OTM back in April because I needed to build strength to complete my recovery from a back and knee issue. Mike worked with me first 1 on 1 then slowly added me to the classes. As my strength and mobility increased I was able to start doing things that the doctor and PT we’re telling me I would NEVER do again. Mike taught me to listen to my body and to notice how I was moving, which trickled into to my daily life and work. I began to notice an energy I hadn’t had in a long while and I was moving much better. I am thrilled to say will all honesty (and I don’t know when it happened it just happened) I am no longer in excruciating pain and I can move with ease! Mike is an excellent teacher and coach who concentrates on what’s best for you, even in a class setting you get personalized attention! His workouts are fun and provides you the opportunity to track your progress which inspires you to do more. The small group classes are great, & you still get 1:1 attention that is hard to find at large fitness centers.
