At One of a Kind Yoga, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming and safe space for everyone who enters. Rooted in the belief that yoga is for every body, we strive to honor the uniqueness of each individual while fostering a sense of community.
Our approach blends yoga, meditation, and breathwork with a deep understanding of the body, mind, and spirit, informed by a background in occupational therapy. This perspective allows us to meet students where they are and support their journey toward well-being and self-discovery.
At One of a Kind Yoga, our goal is for every student to feel valued and empowered, leaving each class with a renewed sense of connection, knowing they truly are one of a kind.

I attended a restorative flow and sound bath session with Julia and it was an incredible experience. I have been practicing yoga for over 20 years and I have never been able to meditate as deeply as I did that night. I highly recommend One of a Kind Yoga (and Julia and Brooke!).

The yoga classes also incorporate elements of chakra alignment, sound bowls, and oracle cards for a deeply transformative experience. Whether you want a gentle flow or something more energizing, there’s a class for you. All levels of experience are welcome!
This is more than a studio, this is a real community. Julia partners up with other local businesses and offers a variety of events that are hosted here: craft night, book clubs, meditation, somatic dance, etc. Take a look at the website to see the array of classes offered. The classes here are amazing! They maintain the right balance of meditation and physical asana. The sound bath incorporated into the 2nd half of the Monday restorative class makes it truly a one of a kind.

One of a Kind Yoga exceeded all my expectations! I went to the Restorative Flow class and it was an amazing experience. Julia is such an amazing yoga instructor! She has a variety of classes that vary in difficulty (i’m beginner, and i find her classes are perfect; not to mention she has yoga mats and other supplies if you don’t have your own) and style! She also has different services such as tarot, a little shop with handmade items (they are so cute and i always end up buying something after yoga!), collabs with other small businesses, sound bath meditations, craft nights, and much more! she really is the jack-of-all-trades, and i always feel much calmer and more relaxed when i come here. i highly recommend you check out her studio—it really is more than just yoga, it’s a positive wellness space where everyone is welcome! julia and the rest of the instructors are so kind and knowledgeable —my husband and i love coming here!!!

I have attended several class at One of a Kind Yoga, and it is always a great atmosphere with knowledgeable instructors who help you feel comfortable at any skill level. I recently attended a class with instructor Grace for a relax and restore type of flow, and I truly left the class feeling refreshed and rejuvenated!

I absolutely loved taking a class with Julia. I highly highly recommend. It is such an inviting and safe place and she offers numerous types of classes that you’ll love and enjoy. Restorative yoga was my favorite yoga class. You get a sound bath after you do a full relaxing stretch and a card reading. She hosts craft nights, tarot nights, full moon circles, honestly anything under the sun. Please take the time to check her out 💜

I've been lucky enough to attend yoga, women's circle, outdoor yoga, and somatic dance and have had such an incredible and healing time at each class. Julia's studio is one of my absolute favorite places to practice yoga in Buffalo! She offers a cozy, welcoming space, and hosts many gatherings and craft events throughout the entire year. I attended a somatic dance class recently that helped me release emotion and tension and feel reconnected to my body in such a profoundly joyful way. I definitely recommend giving this studio a try if you are on the lookout for something fresh!

I happened across this studio in June and I've been back almost every week since. I've gone through yoga teacher training which has made me really picky about taking other people's classes, but Julia has never let me down. Her pace is calm and steady with clear cues and skillful use of yoga props. It's clear she's taken time to ground herself in the spiritual and cultural origins of the work which is also so important to me. If you want a yoga class that's going to like, give you abs and a great butt, this probably isn't what you're looking for. But if you want a calm space to be present with your breath and body, I highly recommend One of A Kind Yoga.

I have gone to yoga 2x and a women’s strength class, both were amazing experiences. Yoga is a very welcoming environment with Julia, she can work with all level of yogis, there is room to go a step up or a step down in a pose. Julia is very clear and calming when speaking through the movements. Alyssa is a very up beat, clear speaking instructor as well with her women’s strength classes and leaves you feeling more confident in yourself!

I love going to Julia's classes. I did the Chakra class and she even gave me earrings! I also have done the Floor Yoga 1 class, and it is a nice pace. Julia is very knowledgeable and friendly, and I always feel great after taking one of her classes. She always changing things up in a good way. I highly recommend One of A Kind Yoga and the instructor Julia.

I could not say enough positive things about One Of A Kind Yoga! I absolutely love taking classes here with Julia. She has created an inclusive and inviting environment that feels really special to be in. Her yoga I classes, as well as, her speciality yoga classes go at a nice pace, I never feel rushed. She always gives modifications for any yoga moves that people might struggle with. She provides yoga mats, blocks, blankets, pillows, and stretch bands to make her classes accessible to everyone, so you can just show up as yourself.
She also offers childcare for classes at no additional charge which is amazing! I have a friend who has brought her son with us to class, and Emily, the child care lead, did an awesome job with him. My friend and her son both a great expirence.
I have also taken a somatic dancing class that I loved, as well as participated in a new moon ceremony. Julia is creating an amazing community and I’m so happy to be a part of it!

This was my first experience at a yoga class. I wasnt sure how I would fare but the instructor made the session comfortable and relaxing. Having various options for how to do the different stretches was very helpful with my hip problems.

One of a kind yoga is an amazing spot to go if you’re looking for an amazing yoga class! Julia was very knowledgeable and professional, while having a sense of humor. She made you feel super comfortable and at ease. She made sure everyone was doing well throughout the class and had other options on how to do a pose if you couldn’t do the first position. She made her class feel completely judge free! I would highly recommend all ages to attend her classes!
