I started training with Alasha almost two months ago and have been really enjoying it. I’ve always been a bit intimidated by working out (especially when gyms have like 30+ types of unique equipment), which is what originally led me to seek out a trainer. Working with someone as friendly and approachable as Alasha has been a game-changer. She’s easy to talk to, and we’re constantly communicating about my goals, form, nutrition, and any questions I have. She then turns those conversations into tailored workouts that push me closer to my goals.

I've learned a ton—different types of workouts, proper form, and, most importantly, how to tell the difference between pushing myself and accidentally injuring myself. She’s also super motivating, I swear I can hear her voice saying, "one more rep!” even when I’m at the gym on my own.

I actually just recently renewed my sessions because she’s such a great trainer, and having these scheduled workouts is helping me build up a routine and habit.

From someone who gets nervous in larger gyms, and needed help getting into a workout routine, I cannot recommend this place enough. They create a program for you based on your goals, did they teach you what muscle you’re working out and why, and they work with you to make sure that you can keep succeeding whether or not you stay for the long run. Everyone who works here is so genuine and friendly, the gym equipment and environment is great, and the music bops. It would be hard to find a gym that checks all the boxes like this one does. Even if my time there was brief, I would recommend anyone who needs a professional trainer or a good private gym to check out Sevenbell fitness.

From a visitor perspective it was a solid gym for NYC, tough to find a gym with a lot of space and this gym (or any gym hete) does not have that. The lift was a 4/5 with the room size/equipment BUT I gave them a 5 because they have mats on location for anyone that trains striking/grappling.

This gym is hands down one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. The overall vibe is super positive, and there’s a strong sense of community that makes it really easy to stay motivated. The culture here is supportive without being over the top — everyone’s doing their own thing, but there’s a great energy all around. My One Bell trainer Alasha Colon created an outstanding program for me that was challenging yet dynamic enough to keep me engaged and on track to meet my goals. Nutrition-wise, Alasha also created a simple meal plan for me that incorporates my food preferences and we continually discuss how it’s going to optimize it.

Her love of her craft is contagious and training with her has been a really lovely experience because of her optimism and nonjudgmental, motivational feedback. I trusted her process and have been so happy with my progress.

Staff are friendly and the facilites offer exactly what you need to get results.

I'm not a "gym" person, but I realized I needed to do something to offset too much time in front of the computer. One Bell was precisely what I was looking for; the sign-up process was supportive and easy, and pairing me up with Jared for training was perfect. Jared is easygoing, patient, supportive, and beyond friendly. His focus on form and consistency has helped me become stronger and more comfortable at the gym and helped bring a sense of accountability that keeps me coming back for more. When I moved to the area earlier this year, I was looking for a personal training experience that was a bit more personalized than what you’d find at a large chain gym, but where the trainers still had their own facilities that I could use on my own time also. Would recommend Onebell if you’re looking for something similar. Gym is on the smaller side but has most everything you need, and is rarely crowded.

Would also really recommend Sabrina as a personal trainer - she is excellent and really knows her stuff, and also fosters a super healthy training environment (empowering, non-judgemental, motivating but not mean). Over the past 6 months lifting with her I’ve been consistently improving in form, comfort & confidence in exercises, and weight level. She is also a joy to talk to every week!

Sabrina - She is the best. She spends the time to listen and makes adjustments to accommodate injuries/focus areas. Just the right amount of motivation without being overbearing. Her favorite pastime is adding more weight to exercises for that added challenge.

Dino - Appreciate the way he approaches each session. He takes the time to break down the “why” from the most basic to more advanced techniques. Helps to understand and visualize how to apply the techniques as you train.

I booked the appointments for assignment. Few days later we walked in. The boss is very nice, he explained very details. And he introduced the trainer Rudy, he said he has few trainers, but Rudy is the one who is highly recommended. My daughter has few class now, she is 100% happy with it. And she said she can see her goal more clearly with Rudy’s help. I highly recommend this gym, professional equipment/skill, relatively quiet environment.

Gash was very influential in assisting me with jumpstarting and maintaining a more effective fitness plan. He gave me a refreshing perspective on how to achieve my fitness goals in a realistic and efficient manner by doing a thorough assessment, offering a specific meal plan to follow, and encouraging me to train in Muay Thai at least three times a week. Muay Thai is life-changing and I’m absolutely addicted to it now! :) I really love the fact that he did a break down of how much weight I should lose per month. Losing weight in increments is definitely feasible and less disheartening.

I have lost almost ten pounds in less than two months. Not only do I have more energy, but I feel happier overall. :) I highly recommend Gash! First time caller, long time listener. I’ve been wanting to pivot away from the repetitive, cold routine of cardio classes in NYC for years – I’ve just always found a way to make an excuse. Lifting has always intimidated me, as has the thought of working with a personal trainer. It seemed embarrassing to start from the bottom at 34, especially when I really had no excuse.

Ny experience at Onebell so far has consisted of a lengthy conversation with co-owner Cam which led to my signing up for a 10-session personal training package (including membership to the gym) and two sessions of physical/lifestyle assessment with the trainer assigned to me, Martin.
I didn't choose Onebell lightly - it represents a commitment to improving my 56-year old body. I picked Onebell because they are dedicated to understanding and learning about my body and lifestyle and creating a plan that would be unique to me. Martin is extremely intelligent. Besides being very educated about the human body - exercise and diet, etc.- he seems both passionate and thoughtful in his assessment. I feel that I am in exceptionally good hands and I'm looking forward to see what happens next. He's also a charming and kind man. The type of person you would enjoy spending time with and learning from.

I have been going 4 times/week for 7 months. In 7 months, I have gained 12 lbs and lost 1% of muscle mass. They are constantly telling me to eat more calories. I am constantly telling them the diet plan they put me on has too many calories. Yesterday, when I said I don’t want to renew, the same person who pushed more calories on me mansplained that weight loss needs a calorie reduction. I am constantly repeating myself about my health history and journey - when I remind them my health information is all in the health chart I filled out, they have actually told me “I don’t look at that.” I am constantly being fed empirically incorrect information and outright lies so they can manipulate me into spending more money with them. They just want your money. It is always a hard sell. Even if you show up ready to sign, they will make you sit through a 60-90 minute hard sell. And then they use your training sessions as opportunities to continue to sell. When the trainers need to cancel sessions, they are never made up. There is no consideration for you or your health. The owner spray painted, with the windows closed, 2 feet from me for a whole 10 minutes. I have asthma and had to stop the session, which was of course never made up. The owner said “it’s non flammable, you can use it indoors.” If you lack the common sense to know the difference between non-flammable and non-toxic, or just the basic common sense that you should not spray paint indoors, especially near someone with asthma - you should not be running a business around health and wellness. I was coughing up black paint for weeks. I have 20 sessions left and don’t even want to use them. For $13,000 and 7 months of my time, I expect results and accurate, factual information.

To be honest I had really been struggling in the gym to build my lower body strength and I came to Sabrina because I was a bit intimidated by gym in general. She told me the reason I hadn’t been progressing like I wanted on my own is because my UPPER body was weak and I needed to start training it more (I wouldn’t have ever thought but makes complete sense now).

So we came up with a program that built my overall ideal body shape (I really want to be more angeled out/sharp looking) by growing my back and shoulders and also helped gain strength to assist me with harder and big lower body lifts. Go to Sabrina!!

My partner and I had our consultation with Cam and he was super nice! If you want a neighborhood, no nonsense gym with trainers who know their stuff and will make you work, Onebell is the spot. No standing around on your phone or messing around. It’s small, which I like, clean, with good gear and the owner- One, is always there so everyone is on top of their business and it’s run well. Get in, work hard, get out. They also limit the memberships so it’s never too crowded. I’ve only been there a month but Gash has been killing me with Muay Thai workouts and advising me on nutrition. Best gym around IMO

I signed up with one of the trainers, Cam, at ONEBELL FITNESS about 3 months ago for a great rate. At that time, I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to achieve, but I did know that I wanted to be more consistent, develop better form, and increase the weight I was lifting faster than I had been. I came to this gym a couple months ago seeking a good Muay Thai trainer (which was surprisingly not easy to find in the city). I was assigned Gash as my trainer - and I'm happy to say that I've had a phenomenal training experience with him thus far. Gash is patient, resilient and very knowledgeable. He trained me from ground up - starting with technical foundational skills to increasing my endurance and strength, all while giving me a great sweaty workout each session. I've been amazed by how quickly he has improved my Muay Thai skills. Before I joined One Bell, I was definitely not an exercise/fitness girl. I've now been a member for 2 years and my whole relationship with fitness and strength has changed. My trainer, Gashford, is honestly the best. From day one, he listened to my goals, my lifestyle, and my preferences, and created a tailored program for me. He is motivating, extremely knowledgeable and data-driven, and creates regimens so you can exercise in a way that is safe for your body (I have some lower back issues and he always helps me modify and ensures proper form when working out).
I initially joined to try to get fit for my wedding earlier this spring. At One Bell, I easily hit my goal without radically having to change my diet, which was a huge deal for me, and I don't intend to leave the gym anytime soon. Gash has crafted an awesome mix of muay thai, weight lifting, and kettle bells and I've now hit all new PRs, including squatting 155 lbs! Moreover, the gym is clean, everyone is so friendly, and as a woman working out, it genuinely feels like a supportive and safe space with all the trainers and One always looking out. Cannot recommend this place enough.

This gym was everything I was looking for. I recently moved to Brooklyn over the summer and immediately joined a local commercial gym. I could not stand working out there, as the gym was dirty, equipment constantly broken from misuse, bad energy, and overcrowded. I had to find somewhere else and I am fortunate to have found Sevenbell.
The space is clean, private, and void of overcrowding given the structuring of how the gym operates. I put a lot of hours into the gym each week, so a place I look forward to going to is a must.
I also have a laundry list of physical injuries that I am dealing with. I got connected with Martin, who specializes in corrective exercise. He has been a savior for me. His attention to detail and enthusiasm is what stands apart. He is not a trainer who will simply walk you through various exercises. He tailors the program to specific to you. He really cares about his clients.
I have also found the camaraderie and social aspect of the gym I was hoping for. All of the employees, trainers, management, and owners are extremely friendly and helpful. This was one of the most important aspects of the gym that I was looking for.
I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the gym or the staff itself. I love it here and won't be looking to join anywhere else anytime soon.

This gym is the real deal. I trained Muay Thai a few years ago .I stopped at the pandemic. I put on 20lbs and lost motivation over the years. It was time to get going. After looking up gyms near me and came across One bell fitness, I knew I had to visit this gym. It did not take me long to realize this was a high level gym dedicated to helping members get RESULTS.

My trainer , Gashford really helped me turn things around. I've gotten stronger with weights and kettlebell training and he is an absolute great Muay Thai Kickboxing coach.
