I wouldn't recommend this location. My kids attended lessons here in the summer. One of the instructors were friendly, the other was unpleasant and not very encouraging and also didn't bother to learn my kids names. I re-enrolled them in January where they had a new coach that was inconsistent, the coaches were switched weekly. The last class they attended they had the life guard instructing the class and he didn't seem very comfortable teaching.

post 6 months of trying we canceled the membership last week. the instructors were always switched, every week a new instructor where they have no idea of the capabilities of the kids and the kids never had a bonding with a single instructor.
8 o'clock classes were never started on time. always 10 minutes late nor the lost time was made. on many occasions, we receive an email at 8.30am saying the class was canceled when our class was at 8am.
if y'all ever think of swimming for ya kids, please don't consider SafeSplash! try the Goldfish swim school, few extra dollars up yet one of the finest in New Ro.
Ps: i left a review from my friend's account since ya'll wanted to comment it as fake, here i am with mine. now you can find my account!

My son attended classes there for 2.5 months and I was shocked by the lack of safety for the kids. At least one time there was no lifeguard on site but most times there was a lifeguard that was paying zero attention to the kids. I repeatedly watched kids go into the water without any supervision (when the instructor works with one kid the other 3 kids are supposed to wait their turn, but instead of waiting their turn they start jumping in the water and going back and forth and NOONE is there to tell them otherwise or make sure that you know.. they don’t drown???). I found it disturbing. 3 stars for the instructors trying, zero stars for the safety and 1star for the facilities (there’s no changing rooms for swimmers just some camping tents and there’s 1 shower.. ONE??). Also in the 2.5 months my son had to switch instructors because of his instructor leaving the place. I would not go to this place again even if they paid me, but I am writing this in hopes that things improve

Nice location and staff is friendly. That's as far as it goes. The coaches are constantly switched around which doesn't allow for them to truly know students capabilities. Although repetition is good, encouraging a student to do more is also important for growth. My child mastered beginners level 1 but was never moved to the next level because of the constant switching around of staff. My child was in the same level for over 4 months with no progress made?! That is cause for concern. She regressed because of this and had no interest to get in the water with a new coach almost everytime. There is also no communication between teacher and parent. At this location in recent, we are not allowed to use the locker rooms to change our kids either! I'm done with place.

My daughter began classes in June and I canceled her membership in October. I should have canceled sooner honestly. Her instructor was rarely punctual yet her classes ended on time. Her instructor never bothered to learn the names of the children in the classes. She would only say "Okay guys" repeatedly. I noticed in August that many children that started classes with my daughter eventually were removed by their parents due to the instructor's constant tardiness. No personal connection was shown and her instructor never seemed as if she wanted to be there. There were some occasions where my daughter's classes were canceled minutes before her classes were scheduled to begin. On one occasion, we returned home after we were told the chlorine levels were not fit for her lesson due to no employee checking prior to her class. We were told five minutes after her class was scheduled to take place. My daughter has shown more progress since starting classes at the New Rochelle YMCA. For the membership and classes I only paid $11 more than I paid at SafeSplash and honestly it was worth it! I will not be returning and have informed other parents who are looking for swim programs for their children to stay clear of that specific SafeSplash Pelham location and to try the YMCA in neighboring towns.

I really like it here. My daughter enjoys it as well. I do wish they had a better system for making up classes missed, and a better baby changing area so parents aren't changing their child on the ground or bench.

They are very friendly, Jasmine the lady in charge of teaching my toddler how to swim is patient and so kind my daughter loves her. Every Wednesday morning she reminds my husband and I she has swimming class and she is so excited. Thank you for making this experience memorable to both of us!

It was our first time doing swimming lessons with my 9 month old and it was a great experience! The instructor was very engaging and attentive. The entire staff that I spoke with from the initial inquiry to the day of the class was amazing! I’ve already started recommending to my friends and family.

The instructors are very warm and engaging to the little ones and the parents. They make class fun and make my two year old feel less afraid of the water.

I love this place, my son was very scared to go in the water after a bad experience, the swimming instructors were very friendly and patient with my son. One of the instructors did not gave up on my son, he make him comfortable to go in the water and he end up liking the class, I highly recommend SafeSplash
