Phatburn is a wonderful place. The studio is always kept extremely clean and the owner is very attentive to the members' needs. I thoroughly enjoy all of their group classes - they are very motivational and the variety is great. The members are all very welcoming and feel like your second family. It is always a pleasure working out here. I would highly recommend Phatburn. They have helped me get back on track and feel better about myself.

PhatBurn is fantastic! The work outs are challenging but rewarding. Andrew is absolutely the best trainer, he keeps the classes motivated and challenged, he's phenomenal especially if you need help with the proper form. He truly cares about your fitness goals and will help you get on the right path. Each time I come back I push myself even harder. I take about 3-4 classes a week and I feel such a difference in my body and overall energy. I am so happy with my progress! It provides excellent results as long as you put forward your best efforts. People are friendly and welcoming, everyone here is really helpful, the great energy and environment keeps me going back week by week. I'm so grateful I found PhatBurn, intense work outs and amazing community! I strongly recommend PhatBurn for all levels of fitness!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! I've never met a more dedicated bunch of trainers. This is a hidden gem! No judgements at all. Very supportive. I've had a few health setbacks and they have been there with me every step of the way. They're truly invested in your success. If you're like me and need a little extra hand-holding, then this is the place for you. That being said, they aren't above giving you the boot out of the nest if that's what you need. The other members are very supportive. It's truly a phamily!

I guess it's helpful, you can do all the workouts at a regular gym like planet fitness. Did not like how I was told one thing from Debbie and then told something else after. Wish I wasn't lied to. Also was given a coach in Stamford was not as helpful for me since I was in a different location.

Six months ago my sister saw I needed an outlet and support getting my life back on track in order to deal with my divorce. I reached my goal....lose 25lbs! You guys have given me back the person I had lost, regained my strength (physically and emotionally), my love(need really) for working working out and found safety in healing my heart. Thank you to your staff for always smiling, having a positive attitude, great energy, making it my safe haven and the greatest therapy.
A special thanks to the trainers Andrew and Angela for challenging me, pushing me and encouraging me when I felt defeated, sad, or discouraged. I’m grateful for Chris and his words of wisdom and understanding that sometimes getting in there is the goal!😉 It has been a hard couple of months for me,but the worst part is almost over. I couldn’t have done it without their energy and support! I needed it then and also now for the next goal....25lbs more I want to lose!

I feel exhilarated and ready to make changes with the workouts at Phat Burn. Don’t get me wrong when the pain and burn of a particular move sets in, I cruse like a sailor even send mental threats to Andrew Wintergerst- Head trainer but I get threw it as best as I can then thank him-hehe. Andrew walks with you on this journey and helps keep you accountable and on track. (I really respect and adore his dedication to helping you reach your goal).

The environment is what also keeps me going each week. I love to see my teammates sweating and grunting with me making the workout fun and encouraging during the class. Also I love that at any given time you can find a trainer in class sweating with you and their energy are always so motivating. My mindset has changed in the sense of my priority. I order the food for portion control and have slowly increased the amount of times I attend class per week. The workouts at first were a struggle but over the last 3 months my body is moving in a healthier direction. Now I’m working on accountability by tracking on the calendar. Right now all I can say is that it can be time consuming and even tedious, but it’s a new source of a building block toward success but will become second nature.

PhatBurn is amazing! I just completed the 24 day Halloween challenge and, even with a week long vacation in the middle, still lost 5.5 lbs! The challenge was great and combined fantastic workouts with a realistic, simple nutrition plan that works.
The staff and trainers are wonderful and everyone, including the other members, are dedicated to helping you succeeed in reaching your goals! I wish I could give PhatBurn 10 stars! I highly recommend to any and everyone no matter what your fitness level or goal!

I have to tell you that for at least a decade I’ve struggled with eating well all day and then just like a switch gets turned on and I eat like I’m a machine at bedtime. However since starting this program with you I have not eaten At bedtime literally at all except for one Fit crunch bar (and that was when I had a really crazy day and wasn’t able to eat a 100% pb way!) The prepared meals are amazing

So phar, I'm loving it! The results are great!
I started at the end of July. By mid-Sept, I had lost over 22 pounds following the PhaBurn meal plan and workouts. I started with the 3 week "kick start" trial, and now I'm in for 6 months!!
I joined the new Stamford location. It is sparkling clean.
The support (online and in person) is the best. The owner, Paul, takes the time to know each and every client and their goals. I have met and worked with each of the trainers in Stamford. They do a great job motivating everyone in the class. The online discussion groups are "closed", which means you need to be a member of PhatBurn to join. It prevents trolls, and allows you to ask questions and know that you are going to get answers from people in the same boat as you.
Honestly, I never thought that I would enjoy the classes. I was always the "just slug it out in the gym" type person, whether working out by myself or w a trainer. But with the class split up into groups and everyone getting attention from the trainer, it is actually a lot of fun.
Every day is a different workout. We do the same workouts for 2 weeks. e.g. 2 Mondays upper body, 2 Tuesdays cardio, 2 Wednesdays legs etc. .... then after we do each workout twice, they totally change the workout you do for upper body, cardio, legs, etc. At PhatBurn, there is no fancy equipment. There are a lot of body weight exercises, and the gear used is dumbells, steps, workout benches, bosu balls , TRX, kettlebells, and one "rack."
I saw the one person who wrote a negative review. Not sure what she was smoking, but the entire staff is very professional. As for the music, there are other people who enjoy it, and it's not offensive, so what's the big deal? I'm there to EXERCISE. FOR ONE HOUR. Suck it up.

They even design meal plans around my individual needs, measure my fitness accomplishments with the latest technology and coach me through my fitness challenges.

I really appreciate my time spent with Phatburn and everything I was able to get out of it for the long term.
At some point after phatburn I fell into some bad habits and wasn’t doing the right things to get the results I wanted. Little things like learning about nutrition & food logging, the amount of water you are supposed to drink every day based on your weight, taking control of the portions you eat throughout the day, and the instructions on the exercise routines have really helped me in the last 4 months that I’ve been committed to consistent exercise and good dieting, on my own.
Paul, Mario, Andrew and Sean taught me the fundamentals which I’ve been applying and now I'm closing in on my goal of losing 23 lbs.
A way to show These guys really care about seeing people reach their physical goals and continue to improve, is the fact that I messaged Paul today, looking for some feedback on some of my routines and how I can get the best results and his reply was:
‘Dude that's great. What's your number I’ll call you later and break it down for you?’ Which he did, and I appreciate that Paul.

So I end my PhatBurn journey today with a bang! After a year there, I met my goals with the help of my coach and lead trainer, Andrew. I'm at 119lbs and I lost about 12 lbs of body fat (bf is at 25% right now). My mindset is to keep going, to keep doing my best- if I can make 25% I can certainly get to 20. I found that having the right mindset wasn't the only moving part to getting successful results. It's the people, the culture built, and the community developed for the members. Also, you have PhatBurn's nutritionist, Shawn, who provides so much support to ensure you're always on track. I've made some great friends at PhatBurn and that also includes the trainers and staff. I learned a lot from PhatBurn that I was able to apply to my personal and professional life. This is all thanks to the CEO Paul, his thoughtfulness towards the members and the well-oiled machine he runs. There's no disputing it, PhatBurn's program works for sure!

In just four weeks I lost 4 pounds of fat and gained 1 pound of lean muscle. I lost 3 inches around my waist and 1 around my arms and legs.
In past experiences this is the point where I lose steam. I make some progress but then doubt takes over in my mind. I start to think in spite of some success that I'll never achieve my optimum physique and so I stop trying. But not this time.
What's different?
PhatBurn has given me complete faith that I will reach my goal. And that faith is the same as knowing that I have 100% of the resources required to do just that.
The combination of workouts and prepared meals is everything. If you are reading this, it is probably because you want to make a change. If deep down there is a little voice saying "you can do it!" ...well, start listening because with PhatBurn you can.

In a nutshell, the program works. I was appalled by the bad review one person gave! Not one of them have been rude! If you dislike a song, I am sure you can say something about it and they can accommodate. That is so petty. This goes on to say that no matter what you do, you cannot please everyone. Anyway, back to my review: I go to the Stamford facility it is brand new and they have all been very responsive and accommodating. No matter the size of the group it always feels personal because they are watching you and telling you how to do the exercises right. Your teammates also encourage you. I love the Facebook page, the weekly webcasts and Facebook live videos, I love the accountability, the nutrition advice, the recipes and suggestions you get. Its totally worth it. I have lost 12+ pounds since I joined the second week of August and I feel great. This is worth every penny. I also love the family environment.

Feeling great!!!!! Been eating clean since August 15th with the help of PhatBurn meals. Been working out at least 4 times a week. Using my journal to hold me accountable. Staying connected to the FB page to learn new information about fitness and nutrition from the A Team. Drinking my water as required. The trainers are all amazing and pay attention to your needs while also pushing you past your limit because they know you can!!! There is a dedicated nutritionist who guides you throughout your journey. We have access to all the PhatBurn A Team and they are super responsive to all your questions. I thought I was in good shape until I started with Phatburn...Each workout was more difficult than the last and I always left class feeling both sore and accomplished— a great combination. Went in for 21 day jumpstart, which for me would have meant paying and showing up once or twice. I was hooked from the first class. To the point that once my trial was over and the thought of not coming back brought tears to my eyes. It's a fantastic program, the classes are constantly changing and challenging. The atmosphere in the room is one where you want to give it your all. Where you want to push yourself and where the encouragement of all the people taking the class just fire you up. Cant say enough about the staff. Always available , knowledgeable and encouraging. I absolutely love this place. It really does feel like a Phamily.

I joined PhatBurn about a month ago and I can honestly say it was the best decision I could have made. I remember walking into my first class a nervous wreck and walking out of there saying wow I did it. Shawn, my trainer was right there encouraging me to not to give up along with fellow members. I started with the 21 day kick start program and was only suppose to do 3 times a week, but I was loving it so much that I signed up for the unlimited membership I didn't want to miss a day. I have been to other gyms but they were just gyms. This is a full fitness center where you have access to a certified nutritionist and trainers who are just a email or text message away. Since I started at PhatBurn I am down 9 lbs and I can't wait to see where I am in the upcoming months. If you are just starting your fitness journey or are looking to change things up I highly recommend coming to Phatburn. You will love it.

I've been a member now since April of this year. Within that short amount of time, I am amazed how much as changed for me. I was that girl, who always struggled with her weight. I've been on so many yo-yo diets that I've lost count. I've done them all, from your classics to the new fab. Some diets worked, and I would lose some weight, but something was always missing. I would go right back to my old habits and before I knew it; I gained more than I lost. It was a vicious cycle that I couldn’t break.
Lately, I've been belting and pinning my clothes and I haven't quiet acknowledged that my clothes no longer fit me properly (this is hard to wrap my mind around). And after four months, for the first time in years... I mean years...I went shopping for some new clothes. I went to get some basic pieces of clothing and of course I grab my usual size. When I realized my usual size was well ....too large, so I went to the next size down, and then I went to the next size down after that, and again I went to the next size down after that! I stood in the mirror wearing a pair of pants and the pant size was in the single digits. I was so excited and in awe, that I celebrated with the sales associate (who thought I was nuts).
I had to share this story because this program has made such a difference in my life. I never ever thought I would be a single-digit size pants, and I never thought I could do half the stuff I am doing now.
So I have to say it again ...

When I started PhatBurn all I was looking for was a little kick in the ass to help lose some weight for the summer but I ended up falling in love with it. I never thought I'd be so into this fitness lifestyle but I have to admit I've become a little obsessed. I'm only on week 5 and already see an insane change in my body. The trainers, nutritionist and staff are all very helpful, kind, supportive and motivating. For the first time I've found a fitness program that not only works but that I enjoy. PhatBurn created a lifestyle change in me. I went in with the intention of losing weight and getting more toned in 3 weeks. I came out with a completely different mindset around what healthy living looked like and could feel like. The workouts kicked my a##% and challenged me from start to finish but the trainers were there to support me every step of the way. I feel stronger and lighter at the same time. :) Jessica, the nutritionist gave me the tough love I needed to make the changes in my diet that will stay with me forever. I thought the five meal regimen would make me feel like I was eating all the time. However, because I'm not stuffing myself at any one meal and my metabolism has been reawakened through the workouts and Jessica's tips on HOW to eat, I actually look forward to the next meal. There are no words that can do justice to just how incredibly grateful I am to you, the program, the trainers, the friends I've met that dedicated themselves to PB at the same time I was there, and most importantly how this had made me feel!!!
I have always struggled with my weight, always!! I have gained and lost 100's of pounds through the course of my life, I tried every diet pill, patch, shake, wrap, eating plan ... you name it, I tried it !
After a painful break up, I started to spiral again. I ate and drank and ate and drank ... I was depressed! I didn't even want to change my clothes after work because the sight of my self was repulsive. I couldn't get out of my own way, and all I wanted to do was crawl out of my own skin and start fresh. I felt disgusting about my self.
My best friend was looking though Westchester Magazine and read about PhatBurn. She is tall and thin, and for the most part a healthy eater, but she was also looking for ways to be healthier, and she knew I needed help!! So she said "Let's see what this is about, we can do it together!!"
We met with Paul, and signed up on the spot, we were so excited and nervous!! It sounded perfect, and intense, and exactly what we needed.
We showed up on the first day, I was shaking with fear, fear that I couldn't do it, fear that people would look at me and think, "oh boy she has a long road ahead", I even cried during my first body comp, and wanted to walk out and never come back.
What I got there was COMPLETELY different !!!! They understood how I felt, they encouraged me, the people in the class encouraged me, they actually cared about how I was feeling, they reminded me why I was there, why we were all there!! They truly cared!!
Every day I got stronger, and every day I felt better, and looked better, every day I learned more and more nutrition, and exercise, and every day I dedicated my self more and more. After my "90 days" were up, leaving was NOT an option for me. I had never in my life felt so amazingly wonderful about my self, about my body, and about the work was putting in.
I spent so much time and money looking for a quick fix, a magic solution, guess what ... THERE ARE NO MAGIC PILLS!!! With PhatBurn I did get quick results, because I dedicated my self to their program, I ate their food, and I went to class every day, I was honest with them about how I felt what I ate and when I "cheated". The PhatBurn team worked with me and encouraged me every step of the way.
In a little over 90 days I lost 30 pound of excess body !! Yup 30!!!!!! I had NEVER felt so good about my self !!! PhatBurn is without a doubt the BEST investment I have ever made in my self!!

I was super nervous initially starting PhatBurn in regards to the food. I have tried a few other programs where supplying the food was involved and they just weren't doing it for me. It was hard to stay on track when I dreaded meal time. No one wants to be eating dried up or frozen meats and vegetables everyday. This has not been the case, even once, with PhatBurn. From day one, the food was fresh and appetizing. There was not one item that I didn't enjoy. NOT ONE! I can promise you, I am not just saying this, the food involved in this program is legit amazing! I have 3 brothers that are not even involved in the program that have all tasted the meals I've brought home, and have agreed that it's all food they would eat on a diet or not. Plus, there's variety... No getting bored of the same stuff over and over.
I recommend everyone add the food portion to their program, I KNOW you won't be disappointed!

I stepped into Phatburn thinking it would be like any other workout program I had ever done; I was very mistaken! Phatburn has truly changed the way I view not only working out, but my eating habits and nutritional well being also. I have never been pushed to my limits before when doing a workout as trainer Shawn Smith was able to do each and every night. The meals were cooked to perfection chef Tim Horan, and it was so nice having the guesswork of what to eat every day eliminated. Dr. Bloom shed light on many aspects of my diet that I didn’t think was a problem, but in fact it was detrimental to my body. All in all, Phatburn fulfilled on its promise to help me lose FAT and look great. I lost a total of 32 lbs (none of which was muscle mass). I lowered my body fat percentage by over 5% and I feel amazing. I cannot wait to start the program back up again and get more toned and cut! I highly recommend this program to anyone looking to make a life change and want to learn the proper way to lose fat and build muscle! Thanks again Phatburn crew for all your help!

Their concept of training, nutrition coaching, and healthy meals is just brilliant. I am living proof that in 28 days my body transformed and it keeps changing as I follow their program.
