Amanda is truly exceptional — “amazing” doesn’t even begin to describe how educated, thoughtful & motivating she is in Pilates.
I’ve always hated working out but Amanda made reformer Pilates genuinely fun. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to working out.
I have two herniated discs and a bulging disc, along with other spinal issues, so I’ve always struggled to find trainers who really understand my body. I’ve worked with 5–6 certified personal trainers in the past, but none of them were able to pinpoint why certain movements caused pain or didn’t work for me. Amanda did.
She listens. She observes. She gets it. She customizes every session with care and makes smart adjustments based on what my body needs. Even small things she’s taught me — like how to get up without straining my back — have made a huge difference in my daily life.
Beyond her knowledge, she’s incredibly motivating. She intuitively understood the kind of client I am and knew exactly how to encourage me to do my homework exercises (which I used to avoid like the plague!).
Amanda truly deserves more than 5 stars, I'm so glad I found her!

I started with Amanda several months ago after some minor knee surgery. It has been a great experience. Amanda is extremely professional, attentive and caring. She watches closely, pays attention to every detail, listens to how you are feeling each session, corrects your movements where necessary, and follows up on your progress each week, adjusting the exercises as needed. New to Pilates, I am finding I enjoy it very much and definitely feel much more aware of my body, overall. We have added some cardio to my routine, which has been great. An hour with Amanda is an hour well spent. I highly recommend Pilates with Amanda to anyone looking for a serious and fun workout!

I’ve tried a few beginner Pilates mat classes on my own but wanted to try Pilates on the reformer machine w/ a professional teacher. Thanks to Google, I found Amanda! She’s attentive, knowledgeable and kind. I’ve enjoyed the 1:1 sessions and seeing my body get stronger/more toned. Her sessions give you a good workout without making it difficult to get out of bed the next day :).
I would highly recommend Amanda to anyone wanting to try Pilates and seeing their body transform!

Amanda has been an incredible instructor! I had never done pilates before working with her, and she has helped me feel comfortable and confident as I learn. I’m extremely hypermobile, which other coaches/trainers have commented on before, but Amanda was the first person I’ve worked with who actually taught me how to utilize my muscles and a proper range of motion. I had been running and working out, but my body wasn’t changing as much as I hoped. I found Amanda, and have been so happy! Amanda is amazing to work with - she is very knowledgeable and very much cares about safety and teaching her clients the right way to get the most out of the workout. I was new to Pilates and she didn’t make me feel insecure in any way, she’s a true “teacher”. Amanda is simply the best.
After gaining weight during the past year, I was feeling pretty down on myself, and knew I had to make some positive changes for my health.
Sometimes that's easier said than done, but then I started Pilates with Amanda.
She always encourages me along my journey with a warm and gentle but firm hand. And never allows me give up on myself. I've always felt self conscious and intimidated at the gym, but she truly fosters an environment that enables anyone to flourish. And trust me, I mean anyone!
She's always notices the smallest, most inconspicuous, details when it comes to fixing my alignment. which has improved how I feel on a daily basis. She's also working with me as an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and the changes I've seen are unbelievable without a restrictive diet. She's super responsive and attentive and always available!
I'm happier, much stronger and looking better and can't wait for my next Pilates session. I can't thank her enough!!!

Bottom Line: Amanda is positive, flexible and encouraging. She delivers an exciting and fun yet challenging work out at every session. I discovered muscles I didn't know I have :) I really can't recommend her more highly!
Amanda has helped massively improved my fitness, flexibility, and posture. A coworker recommended that I try Pilates w/Amanda because of their own results. I was at first intimidated and totally had no idea what I was getting into. I had no past yoga or Pilates experience.
I'm 3 months in and have 2 one hour sessions each week that I look forward to. Amanda customizes all of my workouts that are safe for my knees but also strengthen specific muscles to prevent future injury. She always carries her positive energy with her and is very attentive. My sessions are always enjoyable though really challenging which is what I want. I have experienced this thought in my head "she wants me to put what where and do what? yeah right!" Shockingly I've been able to do it all thanks to Amanda who just knew I could when I didn't think I could.

I started taking Amanda’s zoom Pilates group classes during quarantine. That was my first experience with her and I loved it! She puts such an emphasis on form and I really felt the movements in every muscle they were targeting. I decided to take 1 on 1 zoom sessions with Amanda and I’m really enjoying them! She personalizes every movement to my abilities and strengths. Even though I’m in Florida and she’s in New York, I feel like she’s right there coaching me!! I would highly recommend.

I am a life-long exercise hater. No longer. With Amanda, exercise has become something I do without objection and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I'm in the best shape I've been in since I was much younger. And Amanda came up with a program for me that cured two long standing problems I'd had - chronic shoulder pain and neck issues. What doctors couldn't make go away, she did. Currently we are working on leg pains I get from driving long hours. I'm 63 and I wish that I had had Amanda in my life 20 years ago. She is amazing and I couldn't recommend a Pilates instructor more highly.

Hi so I absolutely love going to pilates and before I just didnt care to go and did not have any motivation to workout. I have a hard time getting motivated for anything fitness related. I have been working with an amazing pilates instructor and she has made it worthwhile for me. I work with Amanda and she has an amazing personality and you can tell she loves what she does. I am now so excited to go when I get closer to the studio I get all tingly inside and I am so happy to be there. Amanda has changed my life more then you know and I would recommend her to anyone and any age. Once you take pilates you feel like a new person mentally and physically and has done wonders for me as a whole. I feel if I can do it and show up then anyone can. Amanda is very professional and pays attention to detail and safety of the pilates precision techniques. I have been to several other pilates studios in the area and they just treat pilates as a series of quick exercises - not paying attention to proper body positioning. They do more talking about their personal matters than watching the client.

I've been doing Pilates since I was in my 30's and then stopped for many years. I started again when my daughter became a certified instructor and so far she is the best teacher I've ever had. I recommend her highly because having a working mother/daughter relationship is extremely difficult and Amanda does it with great poise. She always helps my aches and pains and I appreciate it.

She clearly knows her pilates, and pushes me to do my best every session, but always wants to make sure I am not in pain. I've taken several classes with Amanda (mat and using the reformer) and she's amazing! She really knows her technique and I've learned that Pilates is not just an exercise, but a practice you cannot teach yourself. There really isn't a better low-impact strength training class in NYC.
