The establishment gets 5 stars but I had 1 poor experience with a member who rushed to take a machine - which I was not even done cleaning (kinda gross). I would definitely do 5 stars if this gym was a 24 hour 7 day a week gym. I love it there but sometimes I wanna be there later. if you could install a pin lock door or 24 hour staff I feel there would be a lot more people going at every hour.

The employees of this location are awesome. They go out of their way to greet you when you walk in and say goodbye when you leave. The young man who is the manager I can’t say enough about. He truly cares about the members there. I know of a few different instances where he has gone above and beyond for members Planet fitness is lucky to have him and the rest of the team because honestly the facility itself leaves a bit to be desired but the friendly staff more than makes up for it.

Absolutely gross. People don't wipe their machines after using. When I spoke to the desk a clueless attendant said well I didn't see it. Ridiculous that I have to wipe down my machine twice and the desk does nothing. Tried to go and use a machine. As I was going to sit in the machine I was yelled at by another person because he was using it. He was 3 machines down when I sat down. Claimed he was just helping his friend. Again desk did nothing, and I couldn't finish my workout. Don't bother paying for black card here. You can use the amenities. They don't check. I wait to use the black card perks because they just let anyone in. Sure glad I pay for that. Brockport is so much better!

This gym was clean, staff was friendly but none of to soap dispensers in the men's locker room had soap, I did locate some in one of the two showers. The one shower was also out. But I doubt most people would search that far and walk out without washing their hands.. then touch the equipment

I like the wide variety of modern state of the art equipment. As a black card member you get unlimited use of the water massage beds, deep kneeding massage chairs and tanning beds. Also I just recently learned as a black card member, you have unlimited access to their vertical full body red light therapy treatment. I'm glad I chose Planet Fitness Black Card program to get me back to my ultimate best physical well being.

Early afternoon, I opted to use my lunch break for a half run of the thirty minute cycle and then a shower before continuing my day. I had no trouble here, though this is not a round the clock club.

Quite light on a Wednesday, I didn't have to compete for equipment or for a shower. Plenty of treadmills and other equipment, all facing the wall of TVs you can tune in to. Hot water took a while to get started but did work fine after that.

My daughter and I attend 3 days a week. The facility is clean, as the staff is always walking around cleaning it. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Derek, for example, also goes beyond his job description and changes lights in the tanning bed and even has to oil the machines that have been squeaking so loudly, you can hear them across the entire gym! He deserves a huge raise for doing all he does for being there 1 day a week!

Staff seems too busy talking. Needs to pay a bit more attention. Just tried tanning on my lunch break put me in room one as soon as I go back someone is closing going into the same room they put me in. They put me in room two the tanning bed turned on and about a minute later turned back off. It’s just tanning but super annoying spending a lunch break and neither bed working out correctly

Woke up early. Decided to hit up the gym early. Website says they open at 7. Sat in parking lot in my car for an hour with 15 other vehicles waiting for doors to open. It's now 805. Still not open yet. Family of 4 showed up and only made it as far as the door before turning around and leaving. Alot of cars are giving up and leaving. .... down to 3 cars now. Local Planet Fitness, relatively standard. They keep it clean and all of the equipment is in working order 95 percent of the time. The kids at the desk make sure they say hello and goodbye. They also answer any questions one may have. The only caveat is a constant with planet fitness and that's, the staff does not put an end to nonsense of people that do not know what they're doing and messing up others' workouts. Best example is the yellow room is for HIIT training and should be monitored yet never is so when I'm in there I have to deal with people that think machines they can just get reps in on.

I truly love going to the gym, it's such a good stress relief. I did the basic $10 a month plan. I don't feel out of place or like I'm being judged. They do have "peek hours" where it seems to get busy but I haven't had to wait for a machine. Bathrooms are nice and clean, showers and locker rooms. This location is open 24/7 with holiday hours.

I haven’t been to a gym since before COVID and lived in Rochester. Got a new membership online yesterday and went to Batavia today. The guy at the front desk was really great. Greeted me and was happy to give me a tour of the facility at my request. The gym itself is really clean and well-maintained. Really pleased with my first visit. Only thing is that I wish there were more TRX bands or dedicated stations for it. Maybe if some of the businesses go out next door on each side they can knock down walls and expand. 😁

I drive 34 minutes one way everyday to get to the gym, bypassing the closer Planet Fitness gyms. It is by far the best Planet Fitness I have ever been to, hands down. The Staff make the experience one of a kind. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Their actions in the care they have for the gym shows how much Customer satisfaction is top priority. They work like a well oiled machine. They clean the gym literally from floor to ceiling, wall to wall constantly cleaning the equipment, bathrooms and the gym in its entirety and they act like they enjoy it. Because they work so hard in keeping a clean environment, I make sure to do my part as well. The equipment is in excellent working order and if something breaks or a bulb goes out in the Total Body, Tanning booth or bed. Everything is fixed or replaced asap, unlike the other Planet Fitness gyms I have been to Amherst, Williamsville for example.. I always know what I get when I walk into Batavia. I absolutely love this gym and the staff. I try my best to thank them and show praise for making my fitness experience so awesome.They all deserve so much!

I love this gym. It is a distance from my home gym in lockport, but so worth the drive. It is nice and big, well lit and EXTREMELY clean!! The staff are kind CARING and helpful as well. They fix all missing bulbs or equipment as soon as they are notified or able. They have plenty of equipment. I will be switching this gym to be my home gym.
Update: I have been to Willamsville and Amherst PF, because I was in the areas at the time. Both Total Body Enchancement "beds" of each location, had 8 bulbs missing, 2 shy of entire panel. Not sure how effective they are. It made me never want to step foot in those gyms again and made me truly appreciate Batavia that much more! Unlike these other gyms, Batavia shows they care by their customer care, functioning equipment in good working order and cleanliness! I am sooo appreciative of this gym!

First time going. I went early am before 6. Staff greeted me, they were kind. Helped me log in, I asked about a personal trainer, gentlemen said they didn’t have one at all, I was a bit disappointed since this is a bit new to me. He was helpful with the questions I asked, but there should be a trainer there.

Be very careful of this organization and watch automatic withdrawals. Despite s request for cancellation some months ago my account continued to be charged. On March 1 I noticed an automatic withdrawal for another year. I immediately called noting that I had already cancelled months ago and would not be using the facility in the upcoming g year. The manager (Mitch) advised me that I would be charged enrollment for another year despite calling on the morning of day 1. He also said that they apparently did “freeze” my account previously but these fees automatically reinstated (without notice to me) after a certain time period. He went on to say I could not seek any recourse from a regional manager or anyone else in planet Fitness management nor would any email for management be provided , and furthermore since I did not have identifying information about the person I cancelled with initially, he could nothing other than refund $10. This is not an organization that values its clientele. I would choose a more reputable club.

I love this club! The staff is helpful and friendly. Christine, the manager, has been wonderful. We had some issues with insurance but she helped us thru it. Shes always willing to listen and try to find ways to help. Mitch, the trainer, is amazing! He listens, pushes where he needs to push and understands when you cant do it. No judging! I have health issues and he has taken the time to work patiently with me as with everyone else I see him working with. I have talked to others and we agree it's way better that physical therapy with better results! I highly recommend working with him! Overall, this is one of the best things that came to Batavia and I commend ALL of the staff! Keep up the great work!

My four family members where working out at planet fitness. Three were black card holders. One was a guest. The three black card holders each secured tokens to use the massage chairs. One black card holder was not interested in using their token. The family member that was a guest was not aware they could not use a token. The crew leader came into the massage area and was a bully to the family member guest. Reminding me of your anti judging attitude you so much sell. I was very unhappy with the crew leaders attitude. I have been trying to sell this establishment for members of the community to go to. NO MORE. Personally having a black card with 20 immediate family members, I will not enjoy using the massage chairs. Time to go back to my previous workout location????

The Planet Fitness in the Batavia Location is incredible. The staff member that gave me the tour was absolutely amazing at his job. First, we are long time PF members from the DC area. We travel and love PF but this one threw us for a loop. Why? This was the first PF that we have visited that did not use LifeFitness equipment. This facility is almost exclusively Precor and if you are in any familiar with fitness equipment, you know this is substandard and at the very least, difficult to adjust to when going from gym to gym. Of this is your only facility you visit, you will probably not care and I’m sure the ownership group will not care as we are not members of this facility.

To us...PF was like our Starbucks. No matter where we travelled, it all tasted, smelled and looked the same.

Bottom line, this PF is a bit small but nice of this is your primary club. If you are traveling, I would avoid if you need any machines or ellipticals.

The one bonus is they do have dumbbells to 75 which clubs in the DC area do not.
