I love this Planet Fitness! The staff has been exceptional since I started coming a few years ago. You can always count on a smiling face from Carlos and Jamie at 5:30am! Noah does an amazing job greeting the members and making them feel welcome!
The best part of my day is my morning workout. The majority of the early morning members are very inviting and you can always count on a fist bump, a smile and friendly conversation between sets if you’d like.
There’s plenty of equipment to cater to whatever your workout may be that day!
I believe the welcoming atmosphere, the encouragement from the members and the staff are all vital parts to keeping consistency at the gym. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a truly judgment free workout experience.

I seriously loved it there. I worked out every other day. I had to terminate my membership due to having to move. Manager and employees were all helpful..They went above and beyond . Even other members helped me out. I really loved it there

The women's bathrooms are often in pretty rough shape unfortunately, water everywhere and none of the toilets flushed/pee on the seat. I wish more of the clientele would be a bit more considerate but unfortunately that means staff has to step up.

Today there was a waft of pee smell in the club. I can handle workout stank but pee smell is a bit much. Also there's a broken shower chair just sitting in the bathroom, maybe nobody needs it but at least toss it, the poor thing looks tired. 😂

Staff have been nice but are obviously super distracted and on their phones a lot which I think kind of leads to a general lack of cleanliness around the club.

3 stars because I'm thankful it's there, open with the hours it has and has a decent enough selection of workout equipment.

Less of a health club and more of a social club. Attending this gym is such an infuriating and obnoxious experience for those who go to the gym to actually get a workout in. People there set the treadmills to saunter and scream conversations back and forth, people talking on cell phones, especially in the cardio area, when everyone walks by a clearly posted sign two times each time they come to this place that basically says "no cell phones". It's impossible to drown out the nonsense without giving yourself a case of acute tinnitus. People lounging on equipment, sometimes for over an hour. People plopping their gym bags on a piece of equipment to claim it and leaving it there so no one can use it while they wander off. The only reason I go here is because it's the only semi 24/7 gym within a reasonable distance. I'm hoping something better opens soon.

This location is unfortunately a filthy mess all employees stand behind the front desk talking and doing nothing Staff allows outside gym equipment in which I almost go hit in the face with a members jump rope which is not allowed I alerted staff nothing was done Besides all the members play there music out loud on there phones with no headphones Many machines 11 to be exact are out of order Always new employees Been coming here since the 1990s

The staff is friendly, but the gym seems to have turned into a hangout club instead of a gym. Staff walking around the floor eating (go to the break room if you want to eat) walking around the floor with their phone on speaker. We don’t need or want to hear your conversations (could hear even with earbuds in and up). Groups of people (staff and customers) standing in the way of the equipment making it hard for people that actually want to workout. People just sitting on the equipment for 10-15 minutes just on their phones, tying up the equipment so no one else can use it. Again the staff if friendly, but not the gym to go to if you actually want to workout.

Pretty good overall experience! Nice staff. Lots of room. Good ventilation. Good selection of equipment. Extended Hours of operation. Would give a 5 star if they didn't take months to repair broken equipment. Also need to add red light therapy and sauna, a dew Jacuzzis and towel service and private locker rentals. would be a huge convenience. Open later on weekends please. I'd pay much higher monthly dues if these were implemented.

Planet Fitness in Irondequoit is a wonderful place to work out. The staff from the general manager Bobby on down to the employees are all very amazing. I would highly recommend going there, and not to mention that there are tanning beds available to. The price is very reasonable, so try both.

The ONLY reasonable gym membership I've ever had. Instead of paying $90 for the gym and $40 for a tanning membership, I get them both for less than $30! Sure, there aren't any group exercise classes or a sauna, but I'm in and out and that gives me more time to do other things other than be a gym rat! Love!

My girlfriend went into this location on 10/7/24 to cancel her membership, she was greeted by a female employee and a male employee. When she said she was canceling her membership, the male employee made a comment “girl you don’t need to cancel your membership” and gave her a look of judgement, somewhat of a fat joke made towards her. This is extremely unprofessional, inconsiderate and this employee needs basic customer service training. Please keep your personal opinions to yourself. For a company to be known for the gym with “no judgment” this employee needs to read the training manual again and learn some class but I don’t expect anything less from uneducated people.

I have been a member for years, but recently had to end my membership due to illness. I love Planet Fitness! There's no contract to fulfill if you can't continue. All associates are friendly and respectful. All the clients go do their excersise without bothering anyone. My favorite spot was the 30 minute circuit, and then relax in the massage chairs. Their price is very reasonable for people on a budget.

I love the fact that they're open 24 hours we really needed that, but the place needs to be cleaned, the dust bunnies 🐰 are now dust rabbits 🐇 and the showers needs to be cleaned and disinfected and the shower water pressure is low in all showers. But again I absolutely love the fact that we can come in at anytime and get a good workout in.

I like the Irondequoit Planet Fitness, I have my preferred equipment, I seem to always have access to them whether I come in the evening or weekends. I love the massage chair. I tried it prior to my workout routine and found I had a much better workout because I was relaxed and my muscles were warm. I will be trying it again.
