Terrible, terrible TERRIBLE MUSIC! OMGosh are you kidding me?!? Almost every time we go, they are playing this super nasty, distasteful and horrendous grunge/ depressing / angry music. I don’t want to go to this branch anymore, and tell everyone else not to go.

PLUS- the people at the front desk typically don’t make it lower when I ask them to. Sometimes they do, but not usually.
So I give up. I don’t want to return.

Honestly, considering leaving this gym due to the fact that they decided to make it a playground for high schoolers. Since they give them free membership to Kids over the summer now it’s just overrun by people hanging at machine stations with their friends making what’s supposed to be a workout place into a lunch room auditorium and the workers could care less about people being blocked and disturbing “paying” Customers. They can just call themselves planet daycare center now. I’ll go attend a real gym.

I like the proximity to my home and the ethnic diversity. All ages go there and no one is trying to hook up. Good music and I like catching up on the news on TV while on the stationary bike. I don’t like when people hog the machines in the 30 minute work out room to socialize or go on their phones to make phone calls & check social media for 10 minutes.

Worker at front desk is BEYOND rude. I tried to access the tanning bed which i have went in before and he started accusing me of not fitting the age requirement. He doesn’t know me personally nor my age so don’t comment on things you don’t know. Overall very rude and needs to learn manners in his/they/them grown age. I will not be attending this gym nor will i be ever stepping into those burn smelling tanning dirty beds again. Worker was beyond rude and disrespectful.

More than half the machines are broken. You pay for black card and u get to only use the machines. Their spa area is broken. Nothing works. Billion dollar company who allows employees to shut off all spa equipment. Funny how that works! Going on to 3 weeks nothing works.

To be honest is so much less energy. I am not too certain what was said. My guest approached an employee 'communicating' to a PF customer about my guest and I. It doesn't matter how people view you. There is diversity everywhere. So hey, I avoid poor communication and wait for management. So recently, I relocated back to NYS to get surgery done here. My doctor made note that I am unable to work, so I've been remote with my guest using a laptop. My dad told me I'm too sick to live with him, so he told me to leave. I've a non contagious disease, which is why I'm getting the surgery. I've been utilizing PF amenities in particular. I'm always cleaning the showers and the drains. Today, the front desk employee made a note to not come in until a payment was processed. Another employee gave us information to transfer here and allowed us access. We normally do not receive hostile energy from PF as a collective, and no matter where you go and / or work, even remote, there will always be bad pickles.

I have rarely seen the night employees working, in fact, only one of them seems to work. Every time I walk in they’re pretty consistently sitting down and on their phones. I’ve been to a lot of PFs, and even worked at one, but these guys legitimately just straight up don’t do their job like 80%of the time. The only thing barely keeping it at two stars is the fact that I like the people that go there (who share my thoughts about the employees, by the way).

They charged my credit card a higher amount than offered, with the excuse of having entered the wrong routing number and account number, I think that for this they ask for account information and additionally also credit card information to have the excuse of charge an additional fee, totally disappointed. I will cancel my account for this very annoying reason. I cannot recommend anyone under these absurd terms.

I use my bicycle as a form of cardio to ride to and from the club. In the past at other clubs I've visited the bicycle rack outside has been insufficient in size and has caused unnecessary damage to my property.
I do understand after reading the policies of property damage is on me including theft. My $1,000.00 bike was stolen from Hicksville club outside rack. My bike was dropped 2x prior to that because the rack did not accimodate my bicycles size tire which happens to be the most common for a mountain bike. It's either 27.5" or 29". I have a 29". The time I visit the club is always late in the evening when nearly the club is empty and the 30 min section is not being filled by other members which don't respect the 30 min area. Nevertheless I bring my bicycle inside and I've never had an issue with it being left in a corner put of everyone's way. I've been attending since I moved to Massapequa Park the Carmen's Rd Massapequa club. I've brought my bicycle inside without an issue. I've asked permission and I've always been accommodated without an issue. 2 nights ago and now this evening I've run into a young lady who claims to be the manager of the club and she gave me the riot act of bringing my bike inside. This time my bike is a $7,000.00 bike, the rack has not changed in size outside and the club is less than 1/3 full and she (mngr who would not give me her name) told me 2 nights ago to have a lock for outside rack, exclaimed that policy prohibited bikes in the club. Asked where this policy is and its not even on your website. Never had an issue before and now.this evening same thing again. Instead of her coming out and speaking with me in the foyer area she sat on her phone texting and sent one of her subordinates to speak with me. Unprofessional to say the least. I've never had an issue coming to this club and now miss high and mighty with her cell phone prohibited me from coming to work out.
Would love to see corporate do something about this.

Previously worked in the health and fitness industry for 10yrs therefore I look into many factors before joining a facility. This location has an accessible location, convenient hours ( would appreciate later hours on weekends as daytime I am out for sports and work) cleanliness is important and this location definitely appears to monitor that. I enjoy not feeling overwhelmed with “extras” and have access to equipment and machines that allow me to get in a good workout. One suggestion would be to consider an additional smith machine in the functional training portion of gym for when the main section becomes crowded.

I go in the early mornings between 4 and 5 am. There is almost NEVER anyone at the front desk. I’ve spoken to the manager multiple times and it resolved for a while, but now it’s back to an empty front desk. There’s no one until 6 am, and the 6 am staff are always on time. But I have no idea where the overnight staff is. There should always be 2 people on so one can monitor the gym and the other can man the front desk. Me and many other members pay for the black card membership and are unable to use those benefits because the staff have to give you access, you can’t scan your member ID and use them yourself. If you need to buy a water or need any type of help, no one is there to help you during the early mornings. I tried to let management resolve this on their own before taking to google but clearly they aren’t monitoring their staff because I saw the overnight person walking out at 4:55 this morning when I came in, and the next shift was in at 6. It’s not the next shift’s responsibility to show up early to cover the overnight shift so I don’t blame them. But I worked the early shift at a gym many years ago and we always had shift overlap. There was never not someone at the front desk. On top of that, the gym is almost in constant disarray. Weights throw everywhere, no paper towels or cleaning spray. I’m friendly with a lot of the morning members and they all have the same complaints and have spoken to management to no avail. I don’t know what it will take for them to listen to their members.
