I thought planet fitness is 24 hours so I drove here. It makes no sense some of the locations are 24 hours and some aren't and so I guess we have to memorize their ridiculous schedule.

Today marks the 3rd time in a row that no one is at this location to open the gym. Its 5am and several people have tried to start their workouts but cant. Very disappointing.

I have 3 black cards account from all my sons over the age of 18 my daughter who is 15 wasn’t allowed in the gym without my signature when clearly my sons are her guardians at the time they also refused her from sitting in the gym she ended up crying I’m canceling all the memberships

Great gym has enough adequate equipment and is clean.The guy their early in morning Anthony at the front desk is so nice and polite is always welcoming and helpful early in the morning when I go to gym.

Planet Fitness owners love their corporate scripted replies, here is one that read:

"Hi there, [name]. We strive to provide our members with accommodating service and regret to hear that this has been your experience at our club. Please reach out directly to our club manager, as they will be the best point of contact to address any concerns with our equipment/layout and any issues with our showers and locker rooms. Thank you for bringing this to our attention."

When they really mean:

“Hey [name], thanks for yelling into the void. We copy-pasted this message to make it look like we care, but let’s be honest: nothing will change. If you actually want to complain, go bother the club manager, because we at corporate don’t touch locker-room mildew, broken showers, or that one dude hogging the bench with his gallon jug. Thanks for giving us free feedback we won’t use.”

To the PF owner:

Stop insulting your customers with canned sympathy. People can smell a script a mile away, and the more you paste this “we strive to provide accommodating service” line, the more obvious it becomes you’re not listening. If locker rooms are gross, fix them. If equipment is broken, repair it. If your staff is overwhelmed, hire more. The PR template does nothing but confirm the stereotype that Planet Fitness only cares about new memberships, not member experience.

If you actually read this and take it seriously, it could change your reputation overnight. But let’s be real: this advice will probably just get answered with another recycled corporate reply thanking me for “sharing my feedback” and telling me to “reach out to the club manager.”

Very clean, new and modern planet fitness. As others have said as a word of warning this is most likely the smallest Planet Fitness to ever exist. So even if the "crowd meter" on the app is low the place is going to be very full due to how small it is, so be wise for when you visit. On the other hand if you are looking for a small gym feel and dont like being overwhelmed by mega sized gyms this is the place to go! I noticed when equipment breaks it is repaired fast. I have had no issues visiting this gym. Staff is polite too!

Only PF I've ever seen with free weight barbells, not forced to bench, deadlift, squat etc on smith machines. That's reason alone to drive past 2 other PFs on my way to this one.

Best planet fitness in the entire 845 hands down. It's clean, staff are always looking out for the guests and you can tell the amount of work they put into maintaining it. I was also shocked there were free squat racks--I'm pretty sure this is the only PF that offers that. Regardless, I will be taking the drive over the bridge to this location because it is so worth it. Plenty of space with various machines, and it's not as busy as the other locations. Anyone who complains doesn't appreciate or see the work ethic the staff has. Stop being Karen's and enjoy the gym!

The best gym I have been to in more than 30 gyms that I have been to in my life... this one has many machines, it is clean, I always go in the early morning at 3 am, it is always clean. There is a Latino boy named Daniel who cleans who is super friendly and respectful... he always leaves the women's bathroom clean, the gym stays like new. Daniel is the best... although I have not seen Daniel cleaning the gym for several days and I have seen the change, the gym is dirtier, the women's bathroom is more neglected without that Latino who cleaned super... but I still give 5 stars to fitness plans because it is the best gym in Newburgh.

massage and hydro chairs were nice. however every single time i have used the locker room/bathroom, they ALWAYS have a man “cleaning” in there. one time he was literally sitting on the bench and singing while i showered. it was uncomfortable and disturbing. the reason i finally came around to writing a review is bc this last time i used the bathroom i was in the sink area and the guy walked in without announcing himself. the guy jumped and yelled “ oh my God !!” when he saw ME … in the WOMANS bathroom … he then had the nerve to yell “ i’m cleaning why are you in here !?”. like .. it’s the WOMANS bathroom, why are YOU in here. each situation has become more and more uncomfortable with this man’s presence in the woman’s bathroom.
also one of the guys at the check in desk at night is not friendly or welcoming at all. not even a look up from his computer when checking in. i usually don’t mind not being greeted when walking into a store but the fact that i literally have to stop at the desk where this guy is at in order to check in is really awkward when absolutely no words are exchanged.

I've probably worked out in over 25 planet fitness gyms by now, and this has been by far the best. It is the cleanest and has the best selection of equipment I've ever seen in a Planet Fitness. It even has a good selection of free weights and power racks. Wish my local Planet Fitness was this good.

Really friendly staff, gave out pizza and stuff to everyone for their grand opening. I think that's thoughtful. Facility is good too. I go to this one and the one in wappinger , this one is bigger, the functional fitness area is probably the nicest part, very open space , lots of squat racks.
