When this location is open (Williamsville NY) it is clean and plenty of machines to use, I struggle with the fact that on multiple occasions when I get there it is closed without notice! This place has definitely gone downhill. Used to be pretty good, but now there’s changes that just make it seem like the company is nickel and diming its customers. They changed their hours, which was one of the major advertising points of PF. Some of their equipment just doesn’t work, and sometimes they just put an out of order sign up, which has lasted months in the past. There’s not enough weight machines, so you end up having to wait or just change your routine because people spend too much time on the piece you’re waiting for. During the extreme heat they didn’t even have the fans going?? And the AC isn’t set at a comfortable temperature for exercising. It’s at a comfortable temperature for their staff so you just end up sweating even more. Lately the locker room has been sweltering.
Staff is frequently leaving the counter area, so I can’t even use the black card services I pay for.

Changing hours to no longer be 24/5 due to "not enough people going after 11pm", and was suggested to travel further to a "new" 24/5 facility in depew. My question; if corporate planet fitness sees not enough people going after 11pm over a 90 day period at this next location, how can we be sure they won't slash their hours as well? I asked the regional manager this question and he couldn't really give an answer and did his best to try to make this seem like a positive situation.

I really enjoyed the visit to Williamsville planet fitness I usually go to the Batavia location since it’s closer to home, but my schedule didn’t allow it since my schedule did allow some afternoon workout time I went there. I spoke to the manager who had the same name as my daughter Her name was Ashley. And I told her how much I enjoyed it then it was like Batavia on steroids. Thank you so much for welcoming me in my visit. I just had ear surgery yesterday, but I will be back once l am fully recovered. Thank you for being so welcoming Ashley, the manager!!!

I was thoroughly impressed and extremely satisfied upon visiting the Williamsville Planet Fitness location. What resonated with me the most was the overall appearance of the club, the cleanliness, and equipment being well-maintained, the friendliness of staff, and their ability to accommodate their customers as well. I really enjoy coming to this location. The gym equipment and locker rooms are always clean, and I never have to wait long to use a machine. The staff at the front desk always say "good morning" when I get there and "have a good one" when I leave. It may seem small, but when you're dragging yourself there at 6 am, it makes a difference.

Coming from the YMCA to planet fitness it’s been a very great experience.. Me and the wife have been going for the last three weeks and we haven’t had a bad experience yet. There are some things I would like to give my feedback on coming from the YMCA.

Steam room/Cold Tanks.
These are beneficial for mental health and pre-and post workouts! I know myself and many more people would pay extra. a black card + per se

A better selection of snacks. (This may or may not be a problem at other Locations but my gym, Williamsville NY It’s a pretty small selection. (The drinks are on point)

A way to turn off the Treadmills Front screens. nothing worse than constantly looking at the calories. time goes way slower. 😂

When bringing a guest, maybe let them use the benefits of the black card once or twice a month. this may Get them to get one themselves.

Normally love this location but it's 12:30am Monday and the gym isn't open a few of us were waiting in the parking lot but have all decided to leave. I can only assume it's the new woman you hired to work and she didn't show up. That woman is never around when she is working overnights and is always on her phone ignoring members hiding in the back. Been left standing at the desk for 20 minutes waiting and no sight of her. Need better reliable employees especially at night.

I love this gym! I have been going here for a while and I cannot say enough good things about it.

The staff is truly what makes it great. They keep the gym very clean and organized. They always keep the spray bottles and paper towels full. I have also observed them deep cleaning the machines and they vacuum often. I oftentimes use the light therapy machine and the massage chairs and they always have the rooms tidy and stocked with the necessary protective equipment and cleaning supplies.

This gym has a nice variety of machines. And hardly is there a time when any are out of order. On the rare occasion that they are down- they are fixed and back in commission fairly quickly.

The only downside for me personally- is that the gym is not 24/7. They close early on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I would love it if the gym was a true 24/7 gym since the weekends are usually "catch up" days for me and I am not free until later in the evening. I am sure many people share that sentiment and hopefully, PF corporate takes that into future consideration.

Overall this gym has provided a great workout experience. It is full of friendly, hardworking staff. The location is convenient and the hours are acceptable.

My PF location in Williamsville NY has friendly staff, is well kept and has a welcoming atmosphere! The black card membership amenities are great! I use the massage chairs and red light therapy beauty Angel machine regularly! They also have tanning beds. The parking is plentiful and locker room is clean. Overall I would rate it a 10/10. The only thing I wish is that they had a sauna in the locker rooms and a hip thrust machine. I find it easier to use those machines for that targeted exercise rather than the Smith Barbel machines. Despite this I am very happy and would highly recommend PF gyms, especially my location! Health is Wealth!

For the price? This gym hits all the marks, and is pleasant on top of it. Not too crowded (ever), the staff is kind as can be, and most of the members who attend are considerate and normal. There are people from high school to 80+ moving around and doing their thing and it's such a nice vibe. To the very few people who give judgy looks and act like gym bros and bro-ettes, chill. Also - guys don't set up on the ledge in front of the mirror, it's so annoying for people who actually want to use it. Use the benches.

Genuinely, RUINED my vacation. Before any annual dues for anything.. you usually get an email. I waited to cancel my membership because I was on vacation & within the first few hours of today they charged me $100 for both mine and my fiancés membership dues. I expected charges to come on the 17th so I was cancelling when I got back. Apparently even though I’ve been in to the club literally 2 time and my fiancé never I can’t get a refund? Thanks so so much PF. Oh, and to cancel you have to go in person. That’s real fun and convenient. I see what everyone goes else where when they can. Do not recommend.

I like going to this gym. It is very clean, with spray bottles and paper towels available at multiple locations to wipe down exercise equipment. There is always a machine to exercise at even at rush hour since the gym seems quite large to me. I'm a black card member, pay twice the amount as an ordinary member, which is a bargain also. So I like the massage chairs, plus there are aquamassage and tanning available. I haven't tried a class, although I'd rather have a zumba one which is not available. Overall, I can keep fit at a reasonable price.

One of the larger PF’s I’ve been to. Good selection of stuff. I’ve seen cleaner but it’s not filthy by any means. What really prompted this review was the staff. The front staff is a bunch of younger people that don’t greet you, don’t stop their convo to acknowledge you. Mind you I’m 30. So young is like younger 20s.
You check in to tan, and you’re standing there for a minute waiting for one of them to even see you unless you say excuse me! Then they get snotty because I had to say anything. I try not to be rude or problematic because the world is hard enough as it is. Basically, front staff needs a lengthy education on front desk customer service. You walk in and it’s like a hang out. Not a job for them. I’ve had better front staff else where.

This gym deserves ZERO stars! Believe every negative review on here!!! Clearly I wanted to see for myself and what a mistake. The gym is filthy and anyone who thinks it's a clean gym must have a low standard of cleanliness or not been to a really clean gym, like Batavia PF. The Total Body Enhancement was disgusting, but no problem, I clean it. What was highly upsetting was EIGHT bulbs were out, 2 shy of an entire panel. When I said something to the guy at the desk he insulted my intelligence by saying they can't change them till more go out.😳 Really? So maybe next time there will be only one working bulb?!?! I wasted an hour drive time on this gym. And everyone who said they all stand around talking at the front desk and can't be bothered to greet customers..100% truth! This was my first and LAST time I will ever step foot in this gym unless it is under new ownership! I read the reviews and see the problems have been ongoing for YEARS!! I will drive the distance to a gym where they care about the customers.
Do NOT waste your time replying with attempted appeasement! I see the lies have been ongoing.
Update: I go to the gym everyday. Batavia PF had ONE bulb out in the total body enhancement, I told them and the NEXT DAY it was replaced!! Maybe even the same night.

Not at all impressed with this location. The guy at the desk was in his own world, not greeting anyone who walked in. Half the lockers in the ladies room had the lock attachment broken off, and several of the ones that could be locked had people's stuff in them, unlocked. There were teenagers in the locker room chatting on their cell phones for about half an hour, and someone's used razor was left on the floor in the shower area. Overall, pretty gross experience.

Gym itself is fine, clean and not very busy EVER, which is a huge plus in my book. My original review was 5 stars a year ago. I made the mistake of accepting a "free month" upgrade to a higher membership tier. In that month i was out of town part of the time and never used any of teh extra perks so i felt it wasnt of any value. I didnt cancel in the allotted time, and i didnt care that i had to pay the upgrade fee for a month. My take was, shame on me for not being in town to cancel in time, pay the extra fees for the month and revert back to my original membership like i was told i could. However i was NOT informed that the free offer would add a 1 year agreement to my plan and restricted my ability to change to a different plan. The desk clerk insisted i was informed, but the reality is I never renew my service agreements if i dont have to, even for a "freebie". Had i known that there was a 1 year agreement AT ALL, i would have politely declined. When i tried to go back to my previous plan, i was told that there would be a fee. That fee was the same as the cancellation fee. Since the gym used this offer as an opportunity to squeeze a downgrade fee out of me, i simply cancelled since it was the same cost. Zero attempt at retention which amazes me because between my 1 month at the higher tier AND my monthly dues, they stood to make more money on me if they had kept me around. This isnt a big deal. There are plenty of gyms in the area that are willing to work with their members. I have kept my Crunch membership for YEARS because they treat me right and its closer to my location on the weekends. In this case, I'd rather drive 1/2 a mile up the road and go to Jada Blitz instead. The owner there knows his clients well and has worked with me in the past when I had a billing or membership changes/issues. Catalyst is also close and I have used them in the past with no issues regarding my membership or agreement changes. I recommend headphones on , world off mantra if you absolutely need to join this gym @ this location. Staff gets a 0/5 stars if i could.
