We offer 1-on-1 Personal Training, Small Group Training and we provide Independent Trainers the opportunity to train their own clients here for a low fee. I cannot say enough good things about Power Moves. I have lived in the area for nearly 13 years, and coming to PM is the best decision I've made in that time. I lived near Powers Moves for years before started training there. Tanya and all the trainers were so nice, say hi and greet my dog when we would walk by. So after I had my daughter and needed some help with my mobility, Power Moves was my first choice. I’ve trained there with Natasha Forrest for over a year now and it is honestly one of the highlights of my week. I honestly couldn't have imagined a better place to have gone when I was feeling pretty vulnerable during my postpartum. The trainers and fellow clients are great to be around. And it is such a Vibe! I've been working out here twice a week for years but there is NO A/C so in the summer my trainer and I have to find an alternative space. And yes, there are two fans but in these heat waves they don't make much of a difference.

Tanya & everyone at Power Moves are the absolute best! Tanya is so welcoming and will meet you at your level (in my case absolute beginner) and will help you build your strength and confidence according to your needs and goals. The vibe is always impeccable, and there is lots of banter and laughter. Great private space for one on one training. Already feel I’ve made such positive progress in the short time I’ve been training with Tanya & can’t wait to train with her more. The space is clean, professional , filled with positive vibes and very comfortable. I especially like the fact there are no mirrors as I feel it allows me to be more present, feel movement in my body and focus on Tanya’s tips. Only regret is wish I started training with them earlier!

Tanya and Marcus have created a wonderful space where you can work your butt off while laughing through the pain. The Power Moves community takes fitness VERY seriously, but they don't take themselves too seriously. It's the perfect combination to get your fitness on! Since training with Tanya over the past 5 months, I’ve been able to strengthen an injured shoulder, and am on my way back to the mobility and strength I used to to have pre-injury. Because of this, I’m able to lift heavier than I have been, move more freely, and I can tell I’m recovering faster and seeing progress more than I have ever had on my own because of her coaching. Power Moves is an incredible training studio. Marcus and Tanya are kind, patient and incredibly skilled at what they do. They have the ability to motivate their clients to reach their full workout potential. I had a very bad injury and I was able to work with Tanya for pain relief and recovery. I took the dive and started training with Marcus. I couldn't be happier with the results. After only a few sessions I was already feeling stronger and had more energy throughout my day. This is for sure my new spot! I highly recommend the studio. This is a great new spot for the neighborhood.

As an independent trainer, my business is only as strong as the facilities I have access to. Power Moves sees, hears and truly understands that! From the first session I had, I knew this would be my base in Brooklyn.
Tanya and Marcus, the owners and master trainers in their own right, are incredibly knowledgeable. It's a wonderful feeling to have them as a resource for learning and feedback, without feeling judged.
My clients looove the small perks -- complimentary toiletries go a long way after a hard workout. They also thrive in the pressure free environment. Being close to the 2, 3, 4 and 5 trains is amazing!
Independent trainers, this is absolutely worth your time and money.

I had one-on-one training with Tanya. She is extremely attentive and knowledgeable. I was educated on form, and exactly what body part each move targeted! I have a bad knee and instead of ignoring it, and having me do a workout to avoid the area, we did exercises to strengthen it. Which is something no trainer I have ever been to has done before.
The studio itself is small and intimate- which I find to be very welcoming!
100% will be back, would love to try the small group classes also!
