Love Saf-T Swim at Bellmore! My son has been coming here for lessons for two years, and has developed a lot of confidence in the water. The pool environment is a better sensory experience than the other major swim school we tried, because the overhead lights are not fluorescent or blaring. The parent waiting room is also kept dark, adding to a more peaceful atmosphere. We do private lessons and have had a few different teachers, but the staff is great at navigating my son’s neurodivergence. I would give 5 stars, but my son often complains the boys bathroom smells. But that’s not really that uncommon anywhere so…

We bring our 2 1/2 year old and 10 month old to a parent-tot class. Instructor Crystal has been incredible and patient with them and they have gotten SO much more comfortable with learning swim basics since we started. It’s also wonderful how flexible they are with rescheduling classes if your kiddo isn’t feeling well- keeps everyone who does go healthy!! We’ve also had wonderful experiences with instructors during make up classes. Just start now, worth every penny for peace of mind!

We’ve been taking our children to Swim Lessons here for years and we highly recommend you to do so too. My daughter was 4 years old when we started and she was so scared at first to even put her face in the water. With encouragement that was both kind and tough, she learned to put her face in. Now she’s 11 and she can swim every stroke and has a skill that she can take with her through life. Our son also started when he was 4 years old and his fear was of going on his back. Now, at 6 years old, backstroke is his favorite stroke.

We've had a wonderful experience at the Bellmore location. Karra, Jordan, and Patrick have been exceptional. Since we started coming here, our kids have gained so much confidence in the water, and it's been amazing to watch them grow as they advance through the swim levels.

We love our instructor Mr Reymon! He is so patient with our daughter! She started swim lessons when she was 2 and had been with him for 2 years now! When she started she was very scared to get into the water. He made her feel comfortable and within 4 lessons all of her tears turned into smiles! She now is so exited to go to swim class to swim in “Mr Reymon’s pool”. He has turned our daughter into a very strong and confident swimmer. Saf t swim at bellmore has become family to us- my first born learned to swim and has strengthened his skills. My child always loved the water but didn’t have the skills to confidently swim at the pool with his friends- he actually almost drowned! But after only a year of lessons- he is INCREDIBLY confident and has acquired amazing skills all thanks to Cayden, his swim instructor! My second child started when she was 2- all because she didn’t even allow me to spray water on her head during bath time! After attending the toddler transition classes, my child not only doesn’t mind water on her head but can submerge her entire body inside the water!! My kids learned to feel safe and confident in water all thanks to Saf T Swim BELLMORE!

If I could leave negative stars I would ! I paid $70 for one on one lessons with my 2 year old and the instructor never showed up ! They had no one else to fill in and didn’t accommodate us at all ! Personalized and extremely friendly staff and instructors. We have been going to saft-swim Bellmore since my daughter was in the Parenttot class with Ms Elise who made her experience exceptional. It was a small group class and she took the time to focus on each individual child while guiding the parents. My daughter made great advances and loved to go to swim class. She is now in the toddler transition class which Ms Elise also teaches, 1-3 kids currently each week which gives the feel of a private individual lesson as she continues to tailor her teaching to each child’s needs. We are beyond happy with the results. Everyone is extremely friendly and fostering to a learning environment. We will not go anywhere else.

We have been here for a year and I have to say that Barbara at NBellmore is one of a kind. She is so polite and fun and truly goes out of her way to go above and beyond to help others. She works meticulously to ensure that the SafT Swim doors are open by the time we arrive and schedule any make up sessions we need. I don’t understand how this location got all those 5 stars. They are very unprofessional, always cancelling my son’s classes. They cancel at least 2 classes per month due to instructors always calling out. They also cancel last minute. For example today my son’s class is at 9:30 am and i got a phone call at 8:35 am saying the class is canceled. My son was getting ready and was already excited to go swim! And this happens ALL the time. We changed my son’s first instructor because of this issue. My son got assigned to a new instructor and it’s still the same problem. We will be canceling the membership due to lack of consistency because he will never be able to learn how to swim when the classes aren’t consistent and at this point it’s a waste of time and money!

Our son Aydin has been with Ms. Elise infant/toddler class since he was 4 months old and she is the most patient,knowledgeable,sweet instructor. Our baby is now a year old and he is not scarred of the water ,can hold his breathe under water and float on his back. Ms. Elise is wonderful! Ms. Barbara at front desk/reception is great too. That site has very bad attention, the lady at the desk, Mrs. Bruss changes her mood. Your facilities look dirty and neglected. The quite dirty bathrooms should pay attention, I don't know why I put my girls there. Only the instructors are very good. These locations need an upgrade very disappointing and dirty place.

Joe is my son Camerons swim instructor. Cameron suffers from hearing loss and wears hearing aids. He obviously cannot wear them during his lesson which makes it increasingly difficult to learn new strokes and swim techniques, etc. Joe makes it so easy for me as mom to trust his teaching skills. He’s very patient with Cameron, he speaks very loud and clear for him directly in his ear and gives a lot of hand motions for Cameron to learn visually. Cameron truly enjoys coming to the pool every class and it’s mostly impart to his amazing instructor. I truly can’t thank Joe enough for how well he works with my son, and how much he truly shows he cares for Cameron in the water.

This place is well organized. The staff is polite, respectful, and nice. They will call you ahead of time to inform you of instructors changes or schedule changes. Used to be great but has gone completely downhill. Over the summer my son had an instructor who was very rough with him made fun of him for not being able to pull himself out of the pool ( my son gets pt and they were aware). I stayed, thinking he was just a bad match for my son and switched instructors). The last straw was last week when they messed up scheduling on my younger sons birthday. Didn't take any responsibility and called it a glitch. Although they offered him a later session he was too tired to do that lesson. No goodbye on the way out and no one said happy birthday to him despite us being a customer for over 4 years. I was spoken down to and so was my mom. Save your money. Go anywhere else

I have two children in swimming classes at the Bellmore location. One has been there for 3 years and the other since the summer time. Over the past 2 to 3 months things have gotten progressively worst and this place is extremely disorganized. Every week one of the two instructors called out of work. If there is 6 classes in one session my son's instructor was there once. There is no communication between instructors so every class the child is starting for scratch. They usually call ahead and let you know when an instructor is not coming in. That was not the case today and I'm tired of being told a manager will call me during the week and they do not.

Saf-T-Swim has the most amazing swim instructors - like Cameron at the Bellmore location. Cameron is very investing in teaching my son all the skills he needs to properly swim. I schedule all my sons sessions way in advance to ensure that I am able to keep the best instructor. I have been brining my son to Saf-T-Swim for over 7 years. I truly believe that Saf-T-Swim has engineered an excellent safety in the water / swimmer development program and this is why my son still swims here. My son has some special needs and the instructors have taken excellent care of him since he was a baby. Although my son has completely grasped water safety his instructor today consistently corrects his techniques and is progressively teaching him to advance his basic swim skills. I would recommend Saf-T-swim to every parent because all children need to know water safety and at minimum basic swim skills.

Everyone was super friendly. The trainer was patient with my daughter since it was her first time and she cried the whole time. She kept her composure and made sure my daughter was safe during her meltdown. It’s not easy handling a tantrum but she did it. It’s my first time with saf-t-swim and I’m happy with my choice. My children were happy with the instructors and enjoyed their swim lessons at Saf-T-Swim in Bellmore. This one star review is for the customer service and management. Tonight we brought our two sons in for their swimming lessons and found out as my 2.5 year old excitedly ran to his lifeguard that our session had expired last week. Upon registering for the initial session we were told we would be notified as our sessions were about to end and prompted to sign up for the next one. This did not happen and while we could have kept better record on our end, it’s surprising that we did not receive a call and that it was not caught upon our entry to the building. Even when trying to figure out what happened with the front desk it felt like I was being accused of having missed their call.

My son is with saf t for first time and we so far had about 10 lessons.we switched one to another instructor. The first one always got distracted or talking around while teaching and the second one, I just don’t see anything new that my son is learning from her. as I m sitting in the waiting room and watching now, my 4year old has been playing toy in the pool by himself for a while, there is a playing with toy time at the end of the class , however there is no interaction btw my son and the instructor.The worst is I first brought it up to the manager, front desk left 2 notes in different time and I ve never heard back from any of them or supervisor.. I think I need to make all other parents who is thinking about to sign up to be aware of this. By leaving this review here, not sure if the manager would care to talk to me about this issue. I am disappointed and I don’t recommend this place.

I love this place. My 2 year old daughter goes here, and I can’t tell you how much she enjoys her lessons. Jessica is her instructor, and my daughter and I absolutely love her. I love watching the way my daughter responds so well to Jessica’s instructions. She is kind and patient, but firm at the same time. Jessica is a true gem at SafTSwim, truly one of a kind. This place is poorly run. There is no consistency with the instructors. Some are kids are too young and immature. They will hang out and distract their friends who are teaching a lesson.
Had a good experience at first with a couple of instructors. Once they left it went downhill. Some complaints will get you complementary lessons but I have so many that I can’t use them all.
I can’t recommend this place.

Non Organized place , they keep changing the Instructors , the whole idea is to get a stable instructor to your child , which is not there , every couple of weeks , your child will have a new instructor who knows nothing about your child , and take time to get in track with your child , then again left the place , and you have to start with another one.
This leads to build up make ups , which at the end will expire , in clear speech you pay money and be ready that they will be gone .
My daughter for the last 2 yrs and still in level 3 .
don't go there.

I Asked for any responsible person to inform with my claim , the reply was , no one here to take this complain .
Corporate office , that has no one to even talk to you about the problem you have it with the branch.
