I cannot recommend Nino at Sage Personal Training enough as a personal trainer. His depth of knowledge and mastery of technique made every workout both challenging and effective, but what truly sets him apart is the way he brought warmth and genuine care into each of my sessions. Nino took the time to understand my specific needs as a stroke and heart attack survivor and tailored my workouts thoughtfully, carefully and always made me feel supported. His positive energy and compassion created an atmosphere where I really wanted to push myself to be better and stronger, and with his support I wasn’t afraid to try harder! Training with Nino was more than just exercise, he’s like family to me now!

Where do I even begin? Two years and two
months ago, I was blessed enough to meet Jamie….Jamie is quite possibly the nicest, sweetest, and yet, most bad-ass trainer around!!! She is quite knowledgeable on all things fitness and nutrition related, with an uncanny ability to hone in on clients’ strengths and weaknesses, and therefore can capitalize on the strengths and drastically improve the weaknesses…She is 1000% invested in her clients’ success and it shows in the exceptional care she gives to everyone individually….so, yeah, here we are two+ years later - can we say it out loud please? Yes, with Jamie’s coaching and training, I’ve lost 118 pounds!!! You totally read that right - no surgery, no drugs, just Jamie!! Sage is the perfect place for everyone - every trainer there actually lives what they preach, and I’m proud to be part of the Sage family!! (Did I mention Jamie rules???)

So, update!!!!!! Since this review was originally written, I can happily and gratefully say, I’ve lost 141 pounds in total!!! None of that would have been possible without Sage, Jamie, and Gina!!!! Gina has me working out like a beast, and I LOVE IT!!! If your health and well-being are important to you, don’t walk, RUN to Sage!! Your brand new you will thank you!!!

My wife & I were referred to sage personal training from our neighbor, who we trust dearly. Our goal was to get back in shape after retirement, after decades of not taking care of ourselves the way we should have. I like the diversity of the workouts, working parts of my body I didn’t even know I had. I work out with the owner Nino. He is very good with knowing what I can and can’t do. I have a bad back and bad knees, so working out on my own safely would be difficult. If you’re thinking of signing up, it’s definitely worth it, you get discipline, accountability and a great jump start.

My name is Arlene and I’ve been coming to sage since may. I am 67 years old and I wanted to get fit in preparation for a surgery on my foot. I was hesitant to start since I would have to take a 6 week break for surgery. My trainer Nino convinced me to start before because it would aide in my recovery. He was right, I was able to get back on my feet and being active as soon as my doctor cleared me. Exceptional training experience at Sage. Nino and his team have built something truly special here – a supportive community paired with top-notch facilities that have everything you need for serious training.

I came to Sage for sport-specific strength and conditioning coaching, and they absolutely delivered. Within just three months of training 1-2 times per week, I saw remarkable improvements in strength and muscle development, athletic performance, plus a noticeable drop in body fat.

Anybody who chooses to workout with a personal trainer, this is the place to go to. There is no gym better than Sage. Nino (The owner of the gym) is a great guy who is always willing to help with any needs. He runs the gym efficiently and keeps the place clean and comfortable for anyone wanting to get in a great workout.
And my personal trainer, (Steven) is not only a great trainer, but very patient, knowledgeable and will make sure you learn the proper way to do the exercises and is always willing to work with you. Thanks to Steven, I am seeing the results that I want. I honestly feel that Sage was my calling. The vibes in this gym is fantastic and the other staff members are super friendly and treat you like family

Sage has truly transformed my body but most importantly, how I feel and it’s only been a few months. As i approached 50 years old this year, I was diagnosed with high cholesterol high blood pressure and heavy weight gain. I haven’t done any sort of working out training in over 30 years and I knew it was time for me to make some changes in my personal habits. As a Whitestone resident, I’ve always passed SAGE Fitness center I was always kind of nervous to go in And evaluate what they can do for me. But One day I said enough and I gained the courage to just walk in and I met with Nino, who is the co-owner And from the start, i was met with complete professionalism; and the level of care and time That he and his team took To get me started on this lifetime journey Was amazing from the Get go. I decided to take on their three times a week 1on 1 personal training sessions For duration of 12 weeks, they have all different options, but I felt this one was the one I needed To break out of this bad mold I was in. It was the best decision I ever made in my life, leading me to want more each time. Yes it’s hard but SAGE works with you very closely in assuring you train to your current limits without injury As their training and fitness knowledge and experience is exceptional. Strength training and working out And fitness training are all delayed progression You don’t see results immediately and you don’t see results for a long time actually To see them as you approach the Mark You see some out your training but before you know it BAM it hits you and you start To see the transformation. But we’re out strength, training and exercise. You start to realize the things that were hard to do on your normal daily life start to become easier. You feel more confident you sleep better you think better All good things come out of it. And SAGE has a tremendous team of trainers, so Nino put me on with here comes JOHNNY an Amazing motivated, hard-working individual Who translates his motivation and dedication to training into your training sessions His knowledge and information that he also lends is a big plus and Nutrition advice plus tips on what to do after you train is Exceptional! The End result, of my 3 months training period at SAGE has led to normal cholesterol levels, controlled blood pressure, all around PERFECT blood work!! This is not a coincidence it 1000% has to do with my training. One thing I can say about strength training and exercise is ITS THE NUMBER 1 medicine to fight all diseases!!! This is just the beginning, and I am going to continue with SAGE at different levels of training as I became more accustomed as to how to train what to do, but SAGE WILL ALWAYS BE A PART OF MY LIFE!!! It is amazing to have personal training at Sage!! Nino is very knowledgeable, attentive to details, and is able to personalize programs for his clients. My legs are imbalanced from a subway accident 20 years ago, my left leg muscles are much weaker than the right ones. And I have a chronic back and neck pain from daily long time sitting from work. With his targeted training on the core and isolation training on legs, I have big improvement now. I have a better posture, much less pain, and is gaining muscle mass. What is a plus, he also gives me nutrient and cooking advice which help me building a better eating habits. I highly recommend whoever is hesitating whether should come, give this place a try. I have been training with Brandon, who has been great helping me drop the weight that I gained during the early parts of Covid. Love my personal trainer, Jamie. We do a 2 on 1 session with her and she works hard, designs good workout routines. We're usually super tired at the end of our 30 mins session, but we enjoy it! Also, Jamie's really pretty so it's motivating to workout because we want to look like her.

Some years ago, I had an introductory meeting with a personal trainer. We had one session and that was it for me. He thought I was signing up for the marines…it was way overboard and stressful. Not sure where to start as everything has been such a great experience! Jamie is so motivating and supportive - even more than just physically! If you are lost on where to begin your fitness journey to improving your health or want to return to fitness after a long break and would like professional guidance to get you back on your feet, there’s no place better than Sage.

I’ve been coming here for almost two months now and I could only give this gym praise for how well maintained it is and how open and friendly the trainers and gym goers are.

Each trainer is professional and certified to handle each client’s wants and needs, with no air of judgement. When in any other gym, the environment would be more isolating and intimidating, Sage has a warm feeling of welcoming and a family-like dynamic.

In my time here, I’ve observed the trainers and their clients working together and couldn’t help but to notice how focused they were and how at-home they felt. Whether they were 16 or 60 years old, everyone was here to work hard and push each other to become the best version of themselves.

Yes, that’s what a gym is suppose to be but you’d be hard pressed to find another gym like this one. If you’re just starting and are nervous or shy about yourself, I urge you to pay Sage a visit and have one of the trainers give you a tour. As someone who also had my doubts about going to a gym and didn’t like the usual toxic gym culture, I was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced and enjoy my time here.

My family and I have been a part of Sage since they opened their doors 10 years ago. I have trained with many of the trainers at Sage and I was pleased to train with each and every one of them. They are reliable, professional, and very knowledgeable about fitness. One thing that keeps me going back is that the trainers take my injuries into consideration and they do not push me beyond my limits. That is NOT to say that the workouts are easy. He makes sure that I am doing each exercise with correct form which is a major plus for me. I joined Sage 6 weeks ago to get ready for my wedding and started training with Joey Taranto. Within that timeframe, he has completely transformed my fitness level and entire shape. I have been training at Sage over 10 years with owner Jordan. I recently added training with Nino (at Sage) to focus on improving my shoulder mobility. The range of motion of my shoulders has drastically improved in a matter of weeks, and I am able to train more effectively I highly recommend Sage for training, and specifically Nino to improve your functional mobility.

I went to this place just for information but in my opinion this is very VERY VERY expensive. Maybe ive gone to cheap gyms all my life and that why i found it expensive. The person working there did tell us that its not a gym exactly, it is one-on-one training center. For ten 30-minute sessions it would cost $360 a month. The place was very clean, therr were people there receiving their one on one training and they all seemed very nice and attentive.

This is a real review from a client!
My husband and I have been members for about 10 months and we could not say enough great things about Sage Exclusive Fitness and their staff. We have worked with Brandon from the start and while we initially found it difficult to complete the assigned exercises, he always encourages us to get the most of each session. Even though he still kicks our butts, we now feel more confident and not only see progress but more importantly feel it. Yes, it's true what everyone else says, during every session you will do different exercises making it all the more interesting, not like you are completing a very structured fitness class.
I have to say everyone is friendly, professional and from what I've seen accommodating to your schedule.
I can only speak for the Whitestone location as I have never visited others, but the facility itself is very clean and has an outdoor area!

Sage offers everything you could possibly want in a gym—it’s a fun and friendly environment with trainers that are professional and very accommodating to different body types, levels of fitness, and injuries. They are very attentive and pay attention to form to ensure you are getting the most out of your workout, and that you don’t get hurt. I have knee and hip injuries and arthritis in my back, but Jordan is able to work around them and still get me the results I want. The workouts are so creative and fun that I actually look forward to starting my day at Sage—you could go there every single day for months and never do the same workout twice.

The trainers use a combination of body weight, weights, kettle bells, TRX straps, medicine balls, and a ton of other equipment to maximize your potential and reach your goals, and then even surpass them! When I started at Sage a few years ago, I just wanted to build some strength and gain muscle because I had only been doing cardio before that. Jordan had me squatting 165 pounds, 150% of my body weight, in just a couple of months; but the change in my body was obvious even before that. Jordan helped me find a healthy balance in my diet, and although I was eating more calories and more carbs when I started training with him, I leaned out so much and gained muscle within the first few weeks. I never thought I would have abs, but the summer after I started training with Jordan I couldn’t wait to run around the beach and show them off! Jordan helped to completely transform my body from just being skinny to being toned and lean. I’m so glad I started going there because I had been hopping around from gym to gym before Sage and I was never able to get the results I wanted. When I finally started training at Sage three years ago I immediately saw results and was so happy with them that I’ve been there since then and don’t plan on leaving anytime soon!

As someone who has been going to gyms since I was a teenager- I can honestly say that Sage is the best fitness experience I have ever had. After having my 2nd child I struggled with losing weight. Within 4 months- I lost 45 pounds through their intense workouts and nutrition consulting. The owner- Jordan, and his staff truly care about their clients and make sure they reach, and then exceed, their fitness goals. I have been coming to Sage for almost 3 years now and every session has been different. Intimate space with nice equipment, the trainers are well educated, very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about their field. The workouts are ever changing and engaging so repetition and boredom is avoided, and the outdoor space is blessing in the nice weather. Highly recommended if you're looking for a place to feel at home but are willing to work your butt off while youre there. Oh, and easy no-meter street parking!

I must say that I have tried 2-3 other personal training studios. I have never had the personal attention that Sage Fitness gave me with any other company. These guys even have their own mobile app to keep you in the loop. Their Whitestone facility is very clean like a spa and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Jordan goes the extra step to make sure we reach our fitness goals.
