When you think of someone doing yoga you certainly donβt envision someone who looks like me! Iβm short, overweight and have many health issues. I never would have thought of walking into a yoga studio until I met Lauren at a library class. Iβve been going to the studio a year now. Iβve taken Yin, Restorative and now Chair yoga. Lauren knows my limitations and will often modify a move for me or tell each of us in the room how we should do it accordingly to our personal needs. Every class is a little different and goes quickly. I highly recommend this studio. Especially to others in my situation

Absolutely love Salt of the Earth and Lauren! She is knowledgeable, adaptable, and makes yoga TRULY accessible for all. No need to be intimidated as she provides cues for all levels in all her classes. She also offers such a great array of classes every week. I love the Yin and Yang classes. A great mixture of relaxing poses mixed with some movement. Highly recommend!

I took Lauren's Sunday YIN yoga. I have flexibility issues and get frustrated in most yoga classes cos I physically cannot get into the pose(s). The support and positive energy that Lauren offers is nothing short of amazing. I felt supported, safe and able to be myself. I also felt so much physically better after the class. Thank you so very much Lauren.

Lauren at SOTE yoga helped me survive covid. I had fallen out of yoga for years and the pandemic gave me an opportunity to do an online practice which has helped me immeasurably both physically and mentally during these difficult times. Lauren is inspiring but at the same time down to earth. She gives just the right balance of practical guidance and deeper spiritual suggestions that will work for all levels of yoga practitioners. Try a class! You will not be disappointed.

I've been going to Salt of the Earth since Lauren opened. I've attended the Gentle Yoga class. Lauren has a very calming presence. She explains everything and gears the practice to your individual needs. The studio is warm and welcoming. The outdoor practice is great. I look forward to the spring weather and getting back to outdoor practice. The classes are good for all ages, including a senior such as myself. I highly recommend Salt of the Earth.

I have been attending yoga zoom for over a day now. Lauren has been practicing yoga for many years and continues to educate herself and others on the benefits of yoga. Her class is full of instruction as well as alternatives to each pose.
Salt of the Earth Yoga has helped me through the pandemic mentally and physically. Highly recommend the morning classes.

Salt of the Earth yoga classes are skillfully presented while keeping participants fully engaged with meticulous, detailed instruction. Lauren provides classes for all levels and thereβs always poses that are adapted to individual skills and limitations. Her style is very down to earth while providing interesting health information and hints for making your practice mindful and focused. Also the virtual classes have been a Godsend while keeping safe at home. The highest kudos!

Accessible yoga is not easy to find, especially with someone so knowledgeable about injuries and disabilities. Lauren has taught me that limitations can be inspiring. Through her teachings of breath and movement, I have found such a difference in my Yoga practice that I never knew I was missing β€

I attended my very first yoga class at salt of the earth.
As a total beginner, Lauren made me feel at ease, and guided me through my practice. I suffer from anxiety, and after my first class I felt so relaxed and proud of myself for getting out of my comfort zone. I immediately bought a package and have been back multiple times since. I have brought friends and coworkers to class with me. I highly recommend this clean and cozy studio to people of all ages, backgrounds and ailments. Thank you Salt of the earth for changing my life, and for helping me find a balance. I will forever be grateful for your patience, kindness and professionalism.
