SUP Yoga is a yoga class on a Stand Up Paddleboard. Practicing a gentle vinyasa flow outside giving you a perfect place to ground and reset. SUP yoga helps improve your balance, core strength and the ability challenge yourself.
Class begins with a short paddle, anchoring the boards and then connecting our body and our breath. The class is designed and modified for all levels.
SUP Yoga is a great way to improve balance, gain core strength, and connect with nature and friends.

You need to try this! This was a great yoga workout on the water! First, Deanna provided paddling instructions to get us out on the water safely. Next, we had a yoga session with clear instructions and the option to step it up a notch, when we wanted. Finally, the paddle back provided beautiful views and a chance to soak up even more sunshine. It was a very memorable experience. I will definitely be back!

Deanna is great! I took a SUP yoga class at Jones Beach and it was wonderful. Deanna helped with getting the class accustomed to the water and guided us through a great flow. It was a beautiful day on the water! The lesson was amazing and a perfect way to spend a summer morning- in nature with the waves, birds, and breeze. Absolutely wonderful.

SUP yoga with Deanna is an invigorating and beautiful experience. SUP allows you to fully concentrate and immerse in your yoga practice. I was a novice to SUP and am not the strongest swimmer and I felt safe the entire time. It was an incredibly joyful experience; Iβll be back.

Deanna is WONDERFUL. She hosted a SUP Yoga class for me and my students at Steers Beach and is so good at what she does. From clear communication before our session and preparing us (many new to paddle boarding) for our time on the water, to teaching an incredible yoga class, she is the best.
She even took photos for us throughout our class, airdropping all 97 to us afterwards! It was such an added bonus to our class.
If you're looking for SUP Yoga, I cannot recommend Salty Soul Yoga enough. 10000/10!!!

In flooding yoga you learn to listen to your ego, your mind, and your body. Itβs a healing process with your body, your soul, and your mind. You learn balance and to be in the moment. Letting go and letting things be.
Diana is AMAZING. She is very professional, kind, and an amazing teacher. I highly recommend the whole experience with the Glen Cove mansions indoor pool doing flooding yoga.

Stand-up Paddleboard Yoga with Salty Soul Yoga is amazing!! I've gone every Friday morning since June and it is easily the highlight of my summer. I feel stronger, more balanced - both physically and mentally - and proud. Deanna takes beautiful pictures each time so you get to see your progress. Deanna is also lovely company - super easy to talk to and comfortable to be around.
You really just can't beat time on the water. I read about it recently - called "Blue Mind" ("the surprising science that shows how being near, in, on, or under water can make you happier, healthier, more connected, and better at what you do"). And then combine that with π§ββοΈ π π§ββοΈ. I definitely recommend trying out SUP yoga and developing a regular practice if life allows. Thank you Salty Soul!

I attended the Float and Flow Yoga at the Glen Cove Mansion on a Sunday Morning, and WOW!!! What an amazing experience...the instruction was peaceful and calming, but still provided a challenge, especially while trying to stay balanced on the paddle board in the water. The class started on time, the equipment was setup for all of the users before we got there, and all of the facilities were pristine! This class is a must-try

Deanna's classes are amazing! She creates a class that is challenging for every student, from beginner to advanced. Every time I take a SUP yoga class I leave feeling great! I've taken many classes at this point and she always sprinkles in something new. The SUP yoga experience is so different from your land practice. The stretches are deeper and it requires more focus. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!
