I have been training with Max from Sincere Athletics for a over a month and have seen incredible progress in both my boxing technique and overall weight loss. He is extremely focused and doesn't let anything slip through the cracks. He stays on top of me, keeps me accountable and pushes me just the right amount. I've been training off and on in boxing for a long time when I can get it in. It's something I love to do but hard to stay consistent with a demanding career. Anytime I've had trainers, I've found it stressful trying to get to the gym ready to rock when work is intense. I linked with Coach Max and it's been a paradigm shift - like I need to make the time and reset my mind and get it in. My favorite days of the week are training with Coach. Max is great and the results are amazing. This is my first time boxing, but in under 10 hours, I already feel like I've learned a lot. People aren't lying when they say boxing burns a lot of calories. Max is patient, gives out great instructions, he makes it fun, and he's extremely knowledgeable. The equipment is top notch and I can't wait to see how dangerous I become after a year from now.

I can't say enough great things about Coach Max and Sincere Athletics. I've been boxing since 2015 and when I moved to Brooklyn in 2019 and left my first coach, I thought I would never find another trainer like the one I had. Took me some time but once I started training with Sincere Athletics, I knew I had found the right match. As the months went on, we developed a strong rapport and made a customized plan that worked for my training and fitness goals; it was on! He's so consistent but he's never afraid to push you to make yourself better. I've seen a huge improvement in my skills over the months and I owe that 100% to my coach. Training with PGB has been incredible, within a few weeks I’ve felt the changes in my body in terms of endurance & stamina. I never post reviews. Positive or negative. However, I had to post a review for Coach Max. He is one of the best people I know and an absolute great trainer. This is coming from a misanthrope. He's motivating and makes working out fun. He's the realist in the streets (trust me on that). I highly recommend anyone who is scared of training to start with Sincere Fitness. He will have you doing things you couldn't imagine doing in no time. Training sessions are personally tailored and his attention to detail is rare to find. Ask him for his post workout shakes too!

I started my kids working out with Maxwell and I was impressed from the first session. I felt like I’d gotten more than my money’s worth with how much they were being taught. They enjoyed the techniques and even the workouts. He kept things fun and creative. There were times when my kids weren’t feeling the idea of traditional workouts and he put on the suit and let them practice the boxing techniques on him. They were all too enthusiastic about that! Lol. I’m healing from a car accident, and once I’m fully cleared I plan on training with Maxwell & Sincere Fitness too. Also, one of my children is high functioning ASD and not everyone has the patience to work with him. Maxwell was great! If you’re on the fence, get off of it and jump right in! You’ll enjoy it!

In the year I have trained with Coach Max, I have gained muscle, gained confidence and gained actual self defense skills. His approach to boxing incorporates various martial arts methods that work in the ring or in the streets. He is laser focused on technique but allows you the room to develop your own style.
