Grown out of a lifelong passion for fitness Stronger Body, Stronger Mind Personal Training is an all in one fitness training and education facility. Bridging the gap between physical and mental health it is our goal to educate, encourage, motivate, and improve all aspects of our athletes lives. We hope to see you really soon!!

Stronger Body & Stronger Mind is truly a fitting name for this gym! After working with Joe & Kerri, I've noticed such a change in myself as an athlete (I love how they call us athletes). They really motivate me to push my limits and help me believe that I can "do hard things". I feel valued and supported every time I'm here, and it’s great knowing I’m in a safe environment without feeling judged.

Honestly, I love to power walk (I can walk for hours).That was my way of exercise for years...I never thought I’d enjoy lifting weights or sticking to a weekly lifting routine, but here I am—actually loving it! The atmosphere is clean, fun, and so positive. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to better themselves. It’s been a great experience for me!

Absolute best coaches and just overall people to train with. They want to see you succeed and truly meet you where you are at (as cliche as that sounds). The space is intimate and not overwhelming to a newcomer but also offers everything someone more experienced will need. The confidence I’ve gained, knowledge acquired, friends made and laughs we have had have changed me so much in the best possible way ❤️

After having kids, going back to the gym was really stressful. Stronger Body Stronger Mind made me feel beyond comfortable both physically and mentally with the level I was at. It became my safe space almost instantly thanks to its INCREDIBLE trainers. Every week I feel challenged, and always leave feeling super proud of what I accomplished in such a short period of time. No workout is ever the same, which also keeps it interesting. Highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this gym and the team here! Joe, Kerri and Jack are incredibly knowledgeable and create such a welcoming environment—it’s a place I actually look forward to going.

Joe is always encouraging and somehow knows exactly how hard to push me to get results without making me feel overwhelmed. I love that he has a plan ready for me as soon as I walk in the door. No wasted time, just focused, effective workouts.

Every session is different, which keeps things fresh, and Joe even went the extra mile to design a custom at-home workout based on the equipment I already have. I’ve been training for a year now, and I feel stronger than ever!

Couldn’t recommend this gym and the Trainers high enough! Not only has my experience been outstanding, but my daughter is also training for the NYPD upcoming academy! I started training here after my husband had been going here a few months. I can honestly say I love my workouts. Joe and Jack always have me working to my capacity and my workouts are different all the time. I never get bored. I love feeling challenged every visit. And separately, my mindset is just different since I’ve started working out here. I need real motivation to keep me working out and Joe’s “never quit” optimism is inspiring! Joe and Jack are there for everyone. Any age, little or no experience. Jack trains me and he’s 45 years younger than me. Knows a tremendous amount for such a younger age. Never too late to get into shape. I’m 65. Soon the place will be expanding too!

I went from overweight and exhausted, unable to do a 10 second plank to 50lbs leaner and able to do 2 minutes in a high plank. Although the motto of the gym is through away your scale, if feels amazing to zip up a pair of pants and buy clothes that fit. I get stronger and stronger each week. Running a 5k in June which would not be possible at 204lbs. Thanks Joe ❤️

I been training at this gym for about 5 months now, and love it. Joe and Jack are incredibly knowledgeable. They take the time to explain the work outs and the muscle groups being worked. In addition to the physical training, they also work with you on the nutrition side of health and fitness as well, making sure you know how to nourish your body for both in session workouts, and any of your own workouts at the gym or home. They will also work with you to help plan additional workouts outside of your training sessions to keep your progress going. It’s a fun environment that is a great blend of support and competition. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their overall health and wellness.

Joe at SBSM has been my personal trainer for the past 6 months. I am super appreciative of the passion and commitment to excellence he displays on a daily basis. He is extremely knowledgable about anatomy and physiology which is invaluable when working with someone who has arthritis.

Joe is patient and encouraging as he teaches the correct techniques for strengthening my body. Due to my physical limitations, he always starts with a pain/discomfort check-in to customize each training session for me.

His methods have allowed me to return and train consistently without flare-ups resulting in improved flexibility and strength in all areas of my body.

Do not be intimidated to stop in at SBSM. I hadn’t been to a gym in over 20 years and had never used a personal trainer before. He met me where I was at and I am looking forward to continuing my fitness journey.
