After not having worked out, like ever, I realized how out of shape, inflexible and weak I was becoming, and it was terrifying to think that it was only going to get worse unless I did something about it. I was lucky to find Harold on a friend's recommendation. I met with a few personal trainer before signing up with Harold, and immediately knew he was the one after just a few sessions. Harold is patient and knowledgeable, and it feels like he knows exactly what your limits are and pushes you just a little bit beyond that to keep you on your toes but not to turn you off completely to working out. My sessions with Harold have been amazing and they help me mentally reset and destress. Oh, and he does not waste ONE MINUTE of your time - he will put you to work the whole time you are there.

After 23 physical therapy sessions, my back still didn’t feel right. But just a few sessions with Harold made a real difference. He’s knowledgeable, pays close attention, and tailors everything to your needs.

This is my second review after training with Harold twice a week for 7 months. I had ups and downs, with flares that made me take breaks, but staying consistent helped me feel like myself again. Mr. Harold is my first personal trainer and I’m lucky that I got the right one. As a breast cancer survivor, I had mastectomy and lymph node dissection. It limited the ability for my right arm. And also I gained 40 pounds during all the treatments that caused my knees hurting a lot. Mr. Harold clearly identified my weakness and helped me step by step. So far I’ve had 6 sessions with him. I feel great. My body gets stronger and more confident. I am enjoying working with Mr. Harold.

Since we work in the same environment, I’ve had the chance to see firsthand how he connects with his clients. It’s clear how much they appreciate him, they’re always excited to come in and leave feeling great after their sessions. Absolutely LOVE my 1-1 training sessions with Harold. He tailors the sessions for the needs of your body, and trains your body and brain to push it’s limits. I was looking for a trainer to get me back in shape after a traumatic knee fracture several years ago. The plan was to sign up for a couple months to motivate myself to weight train on my own. When it comes to working out, I have always been a person that gets bored really easily…I am NEVER bored working with Harold. He keeps my workouts simple, fun and fast. Harold is extremely experienced and highly knowledgeable when it comes to targeting areas of my body that need improvement. Lifting weights for me is easy. However, because of all the years of lifting without focusing on my mechanics and building my foundation, I became stiff and prone to injury. He has helped me focus more on my mechanics and proper form. Surprisingly, the circuit training, calesthetic, and rehab exercises continue to not only fix my mechanics but also inprove my functional strength. I also never thought that the simple body weight/rehab exercises he has shown me would be so challenging. By the time I am done, I leave a pool of sweat behind and feel tired but also invigorated at the same time. I highly recommend Harold as a personal trainer. He knows his stuff and will motivate you to go beyond your limits.

I’ve been training with Harold for 6 months and am stronger, leaner, more mobile, flexible and happier! I’ve trained extensively for years, but came to Harold after doing nothing for 2 years in the midst of dealing with some health issues and subsequently deprioritizing exercise. He met me where I was at and always does, he knows when I need more stretching and slow work and when to push. I am not easily impressed but Harold is the real deal, incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, communicative, kind, and easy to be around. Working out with Harold motivates me to show up, and I am eager to continue and create new goals. If you show up, Harold shows up x3 and you will get results. 10/10 highly recommend!!!

Harold is honestly the best and my favorite personal trainer I've ever worked with (and I've worked with 3-4 different ones in the past). I told him my goals as well as my areas of weaknesses/injuries I wanted to strengthen and he showed me great stretch and workout techniques that have helped both strengthen me overall and lessen the pain in my targeted weak areas. He is also great at explaining how each stretch and exercise works that specified muscle or area of the body and how it relates to a bigger picture (like the importance of taking big steps when lunging!). He pushes me but also recognizes when not to push too much. It's not necessarily about getting the most reps and sets with him, and more about paying attention to the body and recognizing how much it can handle (and maybe a little more of a push on top of that).

I've only been working with him for 5-6 weeks so far but already feel results in my daily life (so much easier picking up both my kids!), in the weak/injured parts of my body, and an added bonus, I am also seeing an overall bette shape in my body. I'm looking forward to continuing my fitness journey with Harold and seeing how much more my body is capable of with his guidance!

He worked on showing him the benefits of having a weekly routine and which areas to focus on for his goals. He was professional and personable and just an all out pleasure to deal with from arranging the sessions to watching his training techniques.
