Filthy club that needs major repairs

I tried to cancel mine and my wife’s membership week two of belonging and was directed to a website. The website processed cancellation and told me it was effective two weeks from the date of being processed.

2 months later, I noticed charges on my CC statement. I called and was told by the manager Brendan to f-off and that I would never get in touch with the owners as long as he was there and to send a certified letter in. It wasn’t his fault the person I had talked to misinformed me and he hung up and then ignored my calls at the gym for the remainder of day. I called back following two days, and he hung up both times as I introduced myself. Finally day 3, he said to just cancel my credit card and the problem would fix itself. I told him that was not the appropriate response and it was the principle of the situation.

I now have a law firm looking into the facility as a whole and vetting out the facilities for any other wrong doings. If you have found yourself in a similar situation with Brendan, or the owners at this location, please post here so I can pass along to legal team.

This gym has become a disgrace. Everything is broken (steam, sauna , equipment, black mold in showers , . Owner has given up on place just taking your money . Unless you play racketball AVOID AVOID AVOID
No stars if possible.

I'm used to gyms in Manhattan. This is cleaner and less crowded. Not tons of classes, but enough to fulfill needs. Nice spin studio. Large strength training space, weights are neat and put away. They lend u one towel, or u can bring ur own. Fitness manager very friendly. Parking lot slightly awkward. Front desk not friendly.

I have been going to this club for racquetball for more than thirty years-it is now the most unsafe, disgusting place for racquetball I have ever seen. Not a single court has all six lights functioning some have only one or two. Floors are filthy, ceilings leak leaving courts unplayable. Door has been missing on one of the courts for months but that doesn’t matter because the lights don’t work anyway. Management doesn’t care. Save your money and go somewhere else for racquetball.

This is a great place to work out. They have almost everything. (OK No Pool) Yet, how can you pass up on great instructor(s) in yoga and Tia Chi.
