That’s Hot by Pilates Absession!
Step into the glow— our 90 degree room offers infrared-powered Pilates, stretch, and yoga to take your practice to the next level. The gentle heat penetrates deep into muscles, increasing flexibility, improving circulation, and helping your body detox from the inside out. Unlike traditional heat, infrared warms you—not just the air—creating a more comfortable, effective sweat that feels like a full-body exhale.
Expect looser muscles, fewer aches, glowing skin, and an energy boost that lingers long after class. Whether you're flowing through yoga, lengthening in stretch, or firing up your core with Pilates, the infrared edge helps you recover faster, move deeper, and feel better—every single time.

I don’t even know where to start! I’m super grateful for the studio opening up by me. I took my first hot class here and the studio basically became my second home. First off, the owner, the staff, and instructors are such great and attentive people. I’ve always felt welcomed and comfortable from day 1. What I also love is how accommodating the instructors are. I’ve brought friends and family with different fitness levels with me and they became as addicted as I was!
The studio is so cute and clean. I love how the changing rooms are stocked with things you need. I loved every instructor I took a class with in the studio and the music they play, which is really important to me. They push and motivate you to do your best while also reminding us to listen to our bodies. They make exercising fun and really helped me live a healthier life. Also as a busy student, I’d like to mention that they have plenty of time options which I truly appreciate (yall know I love my early classes lol).
All in all, I have so much love for the studio and the people in it ❤️ thank you guys for everything!

I’ve done 2 sessions so far so not sure how reliable this review is but I’ve looooved both! First one I did with Audrey and second one with Julia and both are super amazing and really keep you pushing through. I’m a first time pilates girl so of course it was slightly challenging to keep up but excited to see what I learn going forward with this place.

I’ve been attending classes at That’s Hot since they’ve opened. Everyone is always super kind and accommodating and they make you feel like family. I’ve taken classes with Jada, Arielle, Nadege, Christian and Amanda and they all were great adding their own personalities to the Pilates modality. The music is always A VIBE and they often have themed classes. I love how diverse the staff is. They cater to all different body types, races, genders, ethnicities, etc., and they really care about their clientele. Karen, one of the owners is often there and is such a kind loving spirit, idk how anybody could not instantly love her. The location is conveniently located by the LIRR and is nestled in prime real estate in RVC, so you can potentially take a class, change clothes and then head out to grab a drink and food with your friends. That also have pop-up’s and host events, which I absolutely love. One time I walked in and a group of sorority girls had just finished. On Labor Day weekend there was a soca themed class it was soooo much fun. I love the fact that they have different class offerings. When I want to do very classical Pilates I take the mat powerhouse, but if I want the razzle dazzle, I take the Hot Sculpt or Planks and Peaches. My body has definitely changed since I’ve started going there. My abs be peeking out from time to time. The room is HOT and you WILL SWEAT and be put to work, so definitely remember to bring a bottle of water, and a towel. Or if you forget, you’re able to purchase one with whomever is at the front desk.

Terrible experience at this studio. I wasn’t able to attend a class, so I called twice to let them know — no one answered. I understood there would be a late fee for missing, but then I noticed they also charged me for a towel I never bought (since I never even showed up). When I called about it, they admitted they had accidentally charged my card for someone else’s towel.
I asked for a refund of both the towel fee and the class since at this point I had no interest in coming back after being billed for something I didn’t purchase. Instead, I was met with a ton of attitude and was told they’d only refund the towel — and the owner actually brushed it off, saying it was “just $10.” Completely unprofessional.
If this is how they handle mistakes, I wouldn’t trust them with my money or my time. Rude management, zero accountability, and an overall awful customer experience. I will not be returning, and I recommend looking elsewhere.
Response to your message: Your response actually proves my original point about how unprofessional this business is. I took accountability for being late and understood that I’d lose the class under your policy. What was off-putting was not the policy itself but the complete lack of respect in how the situation was handled. You did say it was “just $10,” and at no point was there a real apology or ownership of the charge sent. In your response you said , “ You then told her you didn't come to the class because you were late and now you wanted a refund for the class.” I said I wanted a refund because I was charged for an item I did not purchase aka the towel and was off put by the fact you charged me for something I did not purchase. I told you and her that I understand I was late but I would like a refund since I would not come to take a class with this company because of what happened.
Everyone reading my review: please save yourself the trouble. A studio that dismisses concerns, minimizes its errors, and shows no respect for clients is not one I’d recommend.

I’ve taken pilates before, but the instructors here have not disappointed me. I’d like to shout out Arielle R. her classes will definitely get you moving, swearing like you’ve never before and feel accomplished at the end. Her music choice is amazing. She’s an athlete and will work you out like one. She makes sure you hit every muscle group and I can appreciate that she takes time to demonstrate AND correct form throughout the class. We love an engaged instructor. Next time you’re in RVC or looking for a hot pilates studio book ARIELLE R.!

That’s Hot Pilates is everything I could ask for in a workout studio . The conveniently located studio in RVC is beautiful, brand new, and spotless. The space has such a fun vibe and the mirrors and lighting make it the perfect place for selfies and post workout pictures.
I took two different classes and both were incredible. Jada’s “Hot Sculpt” was a full-body burner that left me drenched and feeling amazing. She did an amazing job demonstrating each move clearly, explaining the flow, and encouraging us throughout the class. Her energy and her playlist were amazing and really motivating!
Arielle’s “Hot Planks and Peaches” focused on glutes and obliques, and let me tell you — my peaches and my core were burning. Arielle was fantastic at walking around the room, gently correcting form, and making sure everyone was getting the most out of the workout. I felt super supported and pushed at the same time.
I can’t wait to come back. That’s Hot Pilates is fun, effective, and just an overall amazing experience!

This was my first Pilates workout, and I will absolutely be back!! The workout itself was very challenging and got my heart rate up, and it lasted the full 50 minutes. All of the girls were so welcoming and friendly in the class as well.
The facilities are all new, super clean, and inviting. There are a ton of fun mirrors and decorations, and they have changing rooms in the lobby area! They also have mats/towels for rent so you don’t need to bring anything aside from a water.
Both the reformer and hot Pilates studios are beautiful and I highly recommend!

Usually, when you visit a studio for the first time, they give you a tour and a rundown of the space but that wasn’t the case here. Despite messaging ahead of time to ask whether they provide mats or towels, I didn’t receive a response. It turns out they offer mat rentals but don’t have complimentary sweat towels or any water fountain available, which is important to know beforehand, especially for a heated class where staying hydrated is essential.
The class itself (Hot Sculpt) was very mediocre. I’ve taken several sculpt classes at other studios that are high-intensity and designed to get your heart rate up. This class, however, was done entirely on the mat with no exercises to elevate the heart rate. There was an unusually long stretch at both the beginning and end of the class. When a workout class is only 50 minutes, you'd typically expect to get right into the workout to make the most of that time, with stretching kept minimal or left for after class.

I really enjoyed this class overall! The heat was perfect, the studio itself was super clean and well-organized, and the lobby had a really welcoming vibe.
The only downsides weren’t really the studio’s fault. They’re more logistical. It’s pretty far from NYC, and I hit some unexpected traffic getting there. Also, I wish they had made it clearer that the parking lot is a municipal one where you have to pay, not a private lot. Directions were a little confusing too; my GPS kept leading me to the front of the block instead of the back entrance they mentioned.
As for the class itself, I thought it was good. The only thing that threw me off a bit was the instructor, Christina, occasionally checking her phone or reading from a paper during the class. I totally understand if she’s new or referencing her plan, but it was a little distracting at times.
Still, I had a positive experience and would definitely recommend this studio. I’m giving it a 5 out of 5!
