This class was so much more than I expected. It will take some time to internalize the practices Supriya taught us. I so appreciate the real sense of sangha that Three Jewels creates in its courses.

took 2 classes here via classpass on my trip to nyc! the goals yoga session by megan was one of the best yoga classes ive been to -- shes energetic and attentive to the students despite it being a relatively crowded class! incorporated loads of fun and reflection into the hour-long class.
the place had a very lovely layout; cafe in the front where you register your attendance with the baristas then go through the mirrored doors to the gorgeous studio at the back. the studio had big windows letting light in, and provided mats and blocks for all students. appreciate the latter loads as someone travelling (w/o a yoga mat on hand).
the coffee was only okay though, on the more expensive side.

I am traveling in New York and wanted to try a yoga class here. I chose Three Jewels due to its close proximity to my hotel and was expecting a nice little yoga session.
I was welcomed by a warm and nice team upon entering (the studio is in the back of the coffee shop). The studio is very lovely, beautiful, clean and they provide mats, équipements and whatever you need to have a relaxing class.
Everything is clean and well maintained.
The class with Megan was really amazing. She gave great instructions and was very attentive. I really liked the mis of body movement, wisdom and chanting. It was grounding, exactly what I needed! Thanks for such a lovely session!

An oasis in the midst of a crazy city. You walk into a cafe with the sweetest baristas and yummiest drinks. Hidden towards the back is a serene yoga studio. Three Jewels offers deep esoteric teachings and practices which have brought so much peace into my life. And they share it in a way that is accessible for anyone. If you’re looking to be surrounded by folks who embrace you, and accept you fully then Three Jewels is the place to be!

I cannot recommend Three Jewels or their MTT training more. I was fortunate enough to be apart of the 2023 MTT graduates and this has been an incredible experience that I am so grateful to have experienced. From the teachers, to the community, to every individual I was surrounded by, I could not have asked for a more loving, supportive and powerful group of people to have walked alongside me throughout this journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

This yoga studio is focused on teaching religion. Their yoga classes are a third to a half religious lecture, not body flows.
Given that, I’m horrified by the yoga teacher behavior at the most recent class I attended. The yoga teacher never asked for permission to touch students, then used her feet on a student to correct their posture. In every Tibetan and Indian tradition putting feet on someone is culturally anathema. It is profoundly disrespectful and has no place in a spiritual class from that same tradition.
In addition, both classes I attended were disorganized and went 15 minutes over the scheduled ending time. After speaking to a few other students, that seems to be typical. As such, this yoga studio is not geared for working people who want to get a workout in before the start of a job.
I’m sad that this studio wasn’t what Google hyped it up to be. It seems to be for uninformed people looking for meaning in Eastern tradition while disregarding those traditions when it suits them.

Me and my friend signed up for the 11:30am with Tania today. We arrived really early at 10:30am and had a chai and croissant and had an awesome experience with the girls at the cafe. Around 11am we decided to go in the yoga room and lay down because we were tired after an AARMY class we had just took. About 15 minutes into class Tania came up to me in the back of the room while she was teaching class and and told me if we were going to just lay there then we should leave. We weren’t talking or disrespectful we were just laying there because we were exhausted from travel. We ended up leaving because we didn’t feel comfortable or safe in the space. She had plenty of opportunities to connect with us before class started and unfortunate this was our only interaction with her. Bummed about the experience.

One of my favorite places in the entire world. From the café, to the yoga and meditation classes, to the ACI courses, to the MTT – I have found my place in the Three Jewels community and I don't know what I did before them. I know that I always have a place to go whether it's in NYC or virtually, Three Jewels has become a refuge for me. I am eternally grateful for this space and the people who make this community what it is. 3J helped me to deepen my understanding of meditation, Buddhism, and of myself. Did the ytt here and the main teacher was well meaning but unfortunately incompetent at teaching. They constantly asked for money as “karma” to buy Balenciaga sneakers and cars for teachers lol. They also ask you to go through a mentorship for an additional $1500 before you can even practice teaching. None of the students I studied with go to this studio anymore so that should tell you what you need to know

This place changed my life forever. No matter how you identify, I've watched this community be the most unbelievably, unconditionally, generously, loving. When I met the teachers here, the practices they've shared are something I can never unlearn. When I met these teachings they share, I found THE meaning to my personal life. Nothing, and no one, can ever take away the beautiful these teachings have created for how I now see the world. Thank you Three Jewels, for being the most gentle, forgiving, fun, hilarious, outrageously passionate SANCTUARY for me and so so many. You've rattled my heart open and no place makes me feel more safe. My life is now in service to what you've taught me.

Three jewels is a lovely meditation space neatly tucked away, behind it's own cafe. It's located around Bowery/NOHO. The staff is super friendly and of course there's a relaxing vibe in the cafe - which offers teas, coffees and light bites. Going back there's an open space to store your stuff before heading behind closed doors to meditate. Nice plants with soft light and colors set the mood for your session. The teacher for the session was great and really made for a great experience. I definitely recommend coming here and giving them a try.

Three Jewels gave me the space and tools to have many many realizations. After taking a Friday night meditation class I instantly felt a transformation in my body and knew I was in the right place. The studio feels like a second home; the community supports me like a family member, I feel challenged to grow and deepen my practice, and I always walk back onto the streets of NY feeling like I expanded my heart.
The classic minimalist interior design has been beautifully curated for a perfect practice environment. If you get bored of yoga I guarantee you’ll keep coming back for the ever-changing flower arrangements, full bodied coffee, and free WiFi.

Great space that is relatively small and cozy in a good way. The studio space can comfortably fit about 10-12 people per yoga class. They also have meditation classes here as well, but I haven't been.
The biggest perk is honestly that it's way more affordable, and I love the cafe space where you can relax and hang out after a class.
