Manager David is giving me the worst experience, saying rude things to customer. Hope you feel good about yourself after profiting off from members in such unethical and unbearable ways. All the one star comments below can explain my anger. Stay away from title boxing club. There are a lot more choices in NYC and people who want to do real good businesses. π

I visited NYC and was so happy to see that there was a Title down the road from where I was staying (Midtown West location). The instructor, Bryan, professionally delivered his class and left us all exhausted in the end! Iβm a 5 year member in Sarasota, FL and 100% believe in and love this brand! No Title Boxing Club that Iβve visited has ever disappointed. ππ½

Trash Management. Not transparent, and charge you after your year membership is up even when you try and cancel.
I moved to another city and they claimed since I was within 70 miles of another title I couldn't cancel. So I waited til my membership was done, and they continued to charge me. I notified them I had moved already, yet now they claimed I had to physically come to the location to cancel my membership. I should fly back to NYC from Chicago?
Treat people nicely, maybe they would recommend to a friend. Your model of terrible service will be the death of your company. seriously awful.

Horrible experience at Title Midtown West. The coaches and classes are fine but the management team are just so hunger for money.
I signed for a half-year commitment membership and pay in full in 2018, where the membership ends in October. I decide for the half-year commitment for the discount, though I was planning moving in Sep. I didn't go there after August almost. After the half-year commitment ends, they didn't terminate my membership and keeps charging me without notice me until my credit card expires. Then they keep charging me in their debt and ask me to pay them back. They didn't contact me or email me during the period. I could hardly imagine they're such hunger for money. I will strongly not recommend this place.

My favorite boxing gym so far. Great facilities - appreciated that there were lockers, showers, water fountain, plenty of space. The layout is ideal
- you can hide behind a column if you want or be right in front of a mirror, depending on what you're comfortable with. Really appreciated the instructor, he was great! I've tried a dozen different boxing/kickboxing places and he was one of the few that actually took the time to go around and correct technique, so that you actually get a chance to improve and avoid injury. Music/atmosphere was on point for me - didn't feel "clubby" like some places, or bare and cramped like others. They provide gloves if you need, which is a plus. Phenomenal workout - strenuous, full-body exercise that left me feeling awesome. Thanks!

This review is purely passed on the quality of the service at this place. I tried to attend a class using ClassPass and I had called the studio ahead of time to ask if I needed to bring any money to purchase boxing gloves or anything else required to attend class. Over the phone they said no, and that they would lend required items. I got to the studio for an 8:45pm class through pouring rain with only my jacket and phone and I was denied the ability to attend class because they said I needed to purchase handwraps. However, I didn't have any cash and by the time it would've have taken me to walk home and back in the rain, half the class would've been over, so I just returned home.

I was looking to obtain membership pricing for the Manhattan upper west side location. When I attempted to call to get the information the represent (Marow) refused to allow me to speak to anyone without providing my contact information. When I requested to speak to a manager she refused to allow me to do that. Iβm interested in obtaining a monthly membership, however, Iβd like the price first. This experience has been very disappointing and frustrating considering Iβm a potential new client. This experience was a major turnoff and Iβd like to speak to the manager, however, the representative refused. I called the Brooklyn location and was quoted a price no problem, amazing how it differs between the boroughs, unfortunately I live in Manhattan not Brooklyn.

No, run from this place. If you will decide to cancel your membership, you should pay for 2 more months (at least 280 $). But, when you're coming to the club to sign up, they are explaining that "no problem with canceling membership". They lie. The classes itself more fitness then box.

Unbelievably friendly front-desk. Helps newbies get set-up (everything from wraps to where to stand to maximize the workout), making a new sport vastly more approachable. Great workout -- I'm still sore 2 days later. Fun, and energizing. Next time, even a 30 second recap on what a cross, jab, hook, or uppercut are would be really helpful. To the uninitiated, I had no idea what was going on and I think a really brief tutorial would have gone a long way. The sense of community is incredibly evident. Would have probably signed up on the spot, but the location isn't super convenient for me.

I can't say enough about the workout I get at Title. My favorite aspect is how motivating the trainers are and how each workout I'm pushed to a new limit. I think there's a strong, positive psychological effect associated with that which I have seen trickle into other aspects of my life. I also enjoy the fact that it's a full body workout doesn't over emphasize a certain muscle group. Another positive aspect of Title workouts is the intensity- can't find another place that pushes me the way Title does.

Took my first class back in August, and was immediately sold. The format of the workout is a nice balance of cardio, strength, core, and boxing technique. The members / classmates are chill, and you cannot beat the midtown west instructor crew -- Bryan is a Friday night favorite! The only thing I would change about TITLE is its purchasing options... there currently is no way to purchase one-off / drop-in classes or 10-packs, etc; they want you to buy the full membership, which is great if you want boxing to be your main/only workout, but not so great if you are like me and try to mix it up with different workouts throughout the week (I'm a bootcamp / spin / boxing / yoga girl). I've been attending through ClassPass, which means I can only go 3x per month... but would FOR SURE be in for 1-2x per week classes if I had a way of buying them a la carte / in small packs.

What I value about Title Boxing Club NYC is that it doesnβt feel like a repetitive workout or a task on my checklist I need to complete. Every class I feel like Iβm growing; learning a new drill, expanding a skill, or testing my knowledge of concepts. I WANT to go, and Iβve never felt that way about any form of exercise before.
Itβs been life changing not only with helping to keep my prediabetes at bay, but also my general health and well-being. My coworkers know when I skip a boxing class that morning, because my mood and mental clarity just isnβt the same. Couldnβt imagine my life here without it.

I tried it for the first time on 1/20/2018, and I was surprise about the workout cause I was expecting mostly boxing stuff, but was amazed about the warm up routine and cool down routine and between body core workouts, the intensity was crazy and I'm weight 254 lbs and i was not able to do the same amount of reps as the others that was in better shape but i was able to do them, I will go back and take more classes, I would suggest to others of all ages or if you are not fit or well fit, this place will give you a whole new outlook to body core works!!

This is the only place that I have stuck to. Iβve tried everything from Soulcycle to Barry to Gotham boxing and Title Boxing is my favorite. They tried to charge me for classes I did not attend. They then submitted non-payments to collections and are trying to ruin my credit and steal money from me. The classes themselves are a joke, they will not teach you proper form and you, if inexperienced, willl likely hurt yourself since the instructors and incompetent and will not take the time to properly teach you. Way too large of class sizes, have fun being one of 50 people per class.

To me, the non-stop nature of the workout creates an intensity that is unparalleled to other class experiences Iβve had in NYC. My experience at Title Boxing has been positive. My girlfriend and I wanted to do something fun and active while learning a practical skill such as Boxing for self defense.
The staff is great and plays to their roles very well. They keep the school clean and smelling good. The trainers are knowledgeable and extremely fit. The management know their programs and can answer any questions you might have.
This is a great place to train regardless if it's your first day or you have prior experience.
My 1 suggestion for all new comers is to play it full out. Commit to the training, choose 2 days a week to get in, get yourself some handwraps and your own set of gloves and take nutrition. Serious, especially on days you're going to train for the best results.

This reviewer trades stocks for a living, and does courier work on the side for some weekend cash. It's like getting paid to work out so usually it's cool, but today I ran into a total jackass on the phone for TITLE boxing's new midtown location. I called and politely asked where to bring the food as the building was under maintenance, and some dick very rudely told me "if I read the directions I would know it's next to XXX sign outside". Yeah, like I give a flying F about the directions on my courier app. The thing that got to me was the overt tone of superiority in his voice...I just rode hard, proud that I had kept your drinks and italian parms in good shape for you while evading manhattan traffic, then you give me this BS? He talked to me like I was a moronic child. Now, I am no better than anybody and I don't brag, but I have been an honor student at every level of education through college. I know it doesn't really matter, but I study people more than most, and this guy's voice tone screamed "I am better than you, you dumb f'ing bike courier, since you're such a complacent idiot I'm gonna hang up on you, loser piece of sh**, go get a real job". Now, I if I can reach out to anybody and tell them PLEASE DON'T GIVE THIS A-HOLE your $$$...the argument would be this - irrespective of how cool, smart, or rich you think you are - a human being can only be judged on his character and level of kindness toward others. He automatically gives the "give me attention, I am so smart, and alpha, and well off" vibe even off phone tonality alone. I'd say learn a deadly martial art instead, something that can easily catch boxers off guard and kill them in hand to hand combat, like akido. Just my opinion. This guy is a loser don't go here.

I recently went to one of Raul's classes at title boxing. I work out at another popular boutique gym in Manhattan six days a week. Even though I attend fitness classes regularly, I had never been to a boxing class before and was apprehensive to attend this class alone. Looking back I'm not even sure why I was nervous. From the minute I walked into title boxing the entire staff made me feel comfortable and welcome. The front desk was so friendly and Michael, the owner, personally registered me. The class itself was very challenging and crowded but the instructor made a concerted effort to walk around and help everyone, paying close attention to the beginners that would require more instruction. Not only was it apparent that he's an experienced boxer but his playlist was on point. It was definitely a nice change of pace from my regular fitness routine and I would go back again.

That said, I loved the intensity of the workout, the instructor demonstrating the moves and then working his way thru the room giving personalized attention. I also enjoyed that during the boxing the instructors had us do squat thrusts, squat holds - different exercises to shock our senses and bodies. Definitely one of the toughest workouts in the city. You definitely feel the difference between the hour classes here v. 45 min at other places.
