It's been a great experience! I started Transfitnation to learn circuit training to add to my gym regimen, but they have taught me much more. They used corrective exercises to help with my posture and form, and I have gained so much more muscle and strength.

At first, I was unsure of what to expect since I have never used personal training. However, the trainers were all very supportive. They did not rush me to do anything I was uncomfortable with, but still pushed me to do my best. They come up with a detailed personal routine that is both challenging but not impossible. Each session I felt more accomplished and confident!

I trained with Mike and Chris. Both of them helped me get stronger. Mike pushing my limits each session as well as Chris. Chris had a hard time counting to 10 and sometimes didn’t know what came after 10. Both Mike and Chris knew what I needed to work on and helped me reached goals.

I enjoy every workout session. Group Classes are not too big and it’s very personalized as well. They focus on form and slow improvements in strength and provide lot of encouragement. The staff are very friendly and supportive. Money well spent . The workout sessions have helped me a lot in feeling stronger. I've been working with my personal trainer, Mike, for a little over two months now, and it's honestly been one of the best investments I've made in myself. From the start, Mike has been incredibly supportive and encouraging, creating a comfortable yet challenging training environment.
One of the things I appreciate most is how Mike takes the time each week to really understand my goals. He's not just throwing random workouts at me; each session is carefully tailored to help me progress and achieve what I set out to do and I never feel like I'm plateauing. I highly recommend these trainers! We’ve worked the most with Jill, Steve, and Hannah. You’d be in good hands with any of them. I found their company because they were one of the few that took Couple’s Personal Training. I love that they toe the line perfectly between pushing you to become stronger, as well as respecting the current place you are at. I personally thrive on the positive reinforcement they give. And with their training; I have been noticing myself get stronger. I used to only be able to work out with body weight or super light weights. And now with certain exercises, I’m using kettle bells and dumbbells almost half my weight. For me, that’s a big win! I am excited to keep working with them.

I have made more progress at Transfitnation in one month than I have anywhere else in 6. I have been dealing with back problems for years, due to improper training and misdiagnoses by doctors and PT institutes alike. Thanks to Transfitnation’s expertise in corrective exercises, I have been able to accurately pinpoint my problem areas and start the healing process. Steve, Jill, and the entire team at Transfitnation have been incredible in supporting my mom and me through our journey in recovery and fitness. When I first came to Steve in October 2023, I was struggling with patellar tendonitis in both knees. Steve quickly identified that my squat technique was aggravating my condition. Under Jill’s expert guidance, I began to build strength and, within a few months, I experienced no pain in my right knee and only slight pain in my left.

In addition to my knee improvement, I started to lose weight that I had struggled with since college. Steve and Jill are among the best in the fitness field. I highly recommend Transfitnation for anyone wanting to work on their fitness. The one-on-one attention in a private setting has been the perfect place to help me work on/reach/evolve my fitness goals. I've gone from sweating bullets doing 5 pushups inclined on stairs to doing 15-20 Bosu pushups as a warmup. My trainer Stephan is always well prepared and motivating during our sessions, as well has preparing at-home workouts for me to do on days he doesn't see me. I've also worked out with most of the other trainers on the team when scheduling necessitated, and all have been great and had access to Stephan's notes to keep everything as consistent as possible. The physical space is well equipped and kept immaculate. Again, highly recommend.

I started training at Transfitnation since the beginning of 2022. I had injuries with tendonitis and jogging in the past. I stopped running for years because of it. Their knowledge not only help me build up muscles I need to protect my joints, but also continue to grow stronger without more potential hurts or pain. Here is an update: I have transitioned from group class to private coaching with Stephan, tendonitis and pain is less and less of an issue. I am clearly stronger then last year. My muscle strength enabled me to take up wind surfing, Thai boxing and running, sports I’ve always wanted to do without worrying about injuries any more. Like a lot of other people, the pandemic did a 'number' on my body. Working from home, snacking all day and sitting around caused me to be the heaviest I ever was in my life.

With the help of the guys at Transfitnation, I have made great strides in fixing of this situation. They are very thorough, creative, encouraging and knowledgeable when it comes to fitness and training and actually make it enjoyable to go over there. They tailor their training regimens and it's my impression that they don't just simply use a cookie-cutter approach of bench-presses and arm curls like most other trainers might do.

I highly recommend Transfitnation and while I won't get into specifics (not just my weight, but other important metrics), the proof is in in my numbers.

I have had bad experiences with trainers before, so I really did my research when I decided to hire a trainer. I decided to go with Transfitnation after speaking with many trainers. I was paired up with Stephan. I knew from the first time I trained with him that he was going to be my trainer.

Stephan cares about my goals and he listens. I want a trainer that cares about form and willing to push me to my limit and he does just that. He brings the much needed energy to every workout even when it is at 6 in the morning.

Suffered lumbar back injury during the summer of 2019. After 6 months of PT immediately after the injury at another place I did feel better and it got me functioning and walking around, I wasn’t all the way back and still wasn’t able to do the activities that I wanted to do. I was still in discomfort and not feeling right. After two years of trying to get better on my own, I made minimal progress. I gave Transfitnation a call in March of 2022 and now in March of 2023 I feel confident to resume athletic activities again. I give all the credit to Stephan & Sterling they have been great in identifying what was still bothering me and created a workout plan to help. It did take some time and patience because some injuries do take time especially in the lumbar back area. I couldn’t be happier with how I feel today.

I started working with Steve about a month ago. I was very impressed by his methodical approach. He was very fluid in executing his game plan and spoke in a manner in which he could have taught a 6 year old. Steve was able to help me alleviate pain from my lower back muscle spasm, back tightness, and hip pain by assessing my movements and identifying the root of the problem. After practicing what we went through I feel my body is now strengthened and flexible in the right places allowing me to feel good. If this is just the beginning then the end must be promising.

Transfitnation and Steve's team is outstanding. I began training at Transfitnation in April and transitioned to virtual training with Steve. He is extremely knowledgable and I have learned to do things that I have not been able to master previously. I was never able to hold a plank for more than a few seconds and could not breathe. I've been training with Steve for about 2 years thru Transfitnation- remotely since Covid, via Skype and the Transfitnation App. What I like the most is that Steve is attentive to my needs, limitations (both my physical limitations and my age - I'm a senior citizen ) and takes a personal interest in my development. His workouts are designed to target my weak areas and increase my flexibility after years of sitting at a desk on a computer. The workouts are custom designed and the exercises are varied so that you aren't performing the same routines. In addition Steve has monitored and mentored me on eating habits and the importance of combining proper eating habits and strength training to achieve my goals. Steve is very professional and personable. He exerts the right amount of encouragement during workouts without being obnoxious (as some trainers can be), but still pushes me to reach my maximum effort. Our Skype sessions start off with a recap of what I've done since our last "in person" training including workouts, eating trends/weight goals, and physical issues and a discussion of how to overcome any shortfalls or issues. I highly recommend Steve and Transfitnation to everyone of any age group.

I was seeking a personal trainer after gaining weight and very little exercise during the pandemic lockdown. I did not want the typical “gym” experience since I was injured in the past while using an inexperienced trainer, with a one-size-fits-all approach. I found Transfitnation online and went for a free consultation. I signed up for three days per week and have been working with Steve or Julien since January 1st. I lost the weight I had gained and, equally important, gained strength and balance. My workout was customized for me and in 4 months have not had any pain in my shoulder and lower back which were typically weak spots. Steve and Julien are professional, competent and friendly. Steve is a true professional. He has a perfect understanding of biomechanics and really knows how to tailor a program to the client’s personal fitness goals.

I’ve been training with him for over 4 months and my results have been beyond what I imagined I could do - consistent increases in strength week after week with no plateaus.

His particular method of functional training incorporates both traditional exercise forms like squats and bench press along with many stability exercises that I would not have otherwise done on my own. The variation and progression keeps me interested because I know that a have a new circuit to look forward to every week.

I had only been working out with Steve for about two months when COVID shut everything down. When he said we could work out virtually I was a little skeptical wondering if I would get as good a workout at home. Well I was so wrong. With a stability ball and investing in some workout bands working out virtually is just as challenging and effective as if in the studio. Also working out at home you don't have to put makeup on or comb your hair. 😉😄

I tried Transfitnation using a Groupon for 5 sessions. Steve was so great that I've been working with him for over 3 months now. He has a variety of packages that are reasonably priced. He really knows my body and prescribes exercises that target muscles that are weak or help keep me in balance. He's smart and will tell me to stop an exercise if I'm using the wrong muscles. He knows my limits, but also challenges me when he feels I could do more (and turns out, I can!). When I started with Steve, I was having back and hip pain at work. The pain is now gone and I feel SO much better and stronger. I'm also a medical professional and highly critical and I highly recommend training with Transfitnation.
