I don’t even know where to start ! I came here to workout with my girlfriend and from day one we were being spied on and watched our entire workout (creepy!). We were undecided if we wanted to get a membership because 1- they didn’t have a sauna 2- SO many rules and we felt we were calling on eggshells and 3- because we were being watched. We had a 2-day pass which we purchased twice bc we weren’t sure! On our 3rd time there using the 2nd round of two day passes, we were asked by Ronny if we are trainers and we did respond no because we are NOT trainers. (We confirmed that we are NOT trainers. Just women trying to workout in peace !) We finally said we would get a membership there for at least 2 months to see how it goes. On the first day using our two month membership Lenny questions us again but this time we are being accused of being trainers. At this point my girlfriend and I were annoyed because we felt like children meanwhile we are adults ! We had already cleared the air with Ronny but Lenny had to talk to us again because his “trainer” told him that we are trainers mind u there’s NO trainers in the gym at the time (just his spies) ! Lenny told my girlfriend and I that he has never seen our “style” of working out before which is one of the dumbest things i have ever heard because I truly believe everyone works out how they feel the need to. I don’t know how we could possibly be trainers if we are on TWO DIFFERENT MACHINES at the same time and we switch mid set. (My workouts consisted of leg press, hip abductors / adductors , rdls, Bulgarians and on upper body days it was just supersets with dumbbells) So this lead me to understand that the way my girlfriend and I workout is not accepted in this gym and we were actually OFFERED our money back before we could even ask for it back ! Lenny literally did not want us in the gym. I’m very big on customer service and how I am treated. I am not the type of person that leaves reviews, I READ them ! This is my very first time leaving a review for any establishment ever. Lenny, I did not appreciate your customer service at all it was quite disgusting and nothing u said made sense at all. You can reply with whatever you feel the need to. I have the entire convo that we had at that front desk on video just so i can spread awareness to others. Good day.

Solid gym. The equipment is very old, but it gets the job done. If you are looking for an old school gym, I would recommend Valencia.

This gym and it’s equipment are maintained extremely well. Plenty of equipment with an awesome staff. I love how all the equipment is more old fashioned and still in very great condition. Easily one of my favorite gyms.

Awesome gym!! A great old school place for any passionate wheightlifter.
They have a super good variety of machines with good ROM and the enviroment is super friendly! Will totally come back everytime i visit NY :)

I used to go to this gym back in the day and my biggest regret was leaving to join another gym which has been a complete waste of time and money. It's an old school gym for a reason because there's no nonsense going on there, you go in get a monster workout looking and feeling satisfied. Some of the best trainers are there like Tony who's phenomenal and his wife. I'm going to go back there because I saw results when I was there. These new gyms are a social club.

Beautiful Classic Gym, excellent equipment, great machines, this is the spot for avid gym goers! Everything works perfectly and everything is where it needs to be. Best gym around hands down and they have an Excellent staff.

Smelly and outdated.

Thank you for responding and showing your petty nature 😊. However it doesn’t change the fact that your gym is outdated, has poor ventilation, and old equipment. Thank you for confirming that I did visit your gym pre covid so your inability to keep up with industry advancement is not circumstantial.

I was in town for a couple days so I tried out this gym. It gave me a very old school vibe which I really liked, it’s not very spacious but they have a bunch of good equipment and the front desk was very nice overall a solid gym and I would come again 👍🏽

What a wonderful gym, old school hardcore atmosphere. The best leg machines I have ever used very smooth. Clean, great air flow and friendly members. I'm not local but about 11 miles away I might join for days I work from home and the weekend. Surprised they don't have a pullover machine for the back but that's fine.

Nice local gym I visited while in the Long Island area. Short term rates were $15 for a day or $35 for a week. Overall, the gym had what I needed, free weights and cardio machine. However, the equipment is a bit older and the space feels a bit congested. The staff members were helpful.

The environment is welcoming, clean and the membership is also affordable. I just started and I'm already feeling at ease. Staff is courteous, professional and very helpful: from the registration with Mynor who helped me picking the best option, to the orientation class with Sarita who patiently showed me how to exercise using the machines.
I highly recommend Valencia fitness club.

The machines are well maintained, there are a ton of free weights downstairs but the downfall to this gym are the members who are not able to have a conversation without other members hearing it. It's loud and annoying. I have to wear headphones to cope with the noise. If nothing is done about I probably would go to another gym, even if it's more money.

Definitely your mom and pop shop type of gym, with very respectful service and a welcoming atmosphere to top it off. If you're in the area, definitely support your local businesses like these. They have an upstairs area with machines and some free weights but its mostly cardio, while the downstairs you'll get your squat and bench press machines and everything else you could imagine. They keep it simple, and sometimes simplicity is all you need.

This gym is hands down the best gym I have ever been to. Their isn't a gym like this that has the equipment. Plus you have an owner that takes great care of the whole facility. Grateful for this place. I will not train anywhere else.if your looking for a gym then Valencia is the gym to go to. Thank you to the owner for having such an awesome place .

Valencia Gym has it all ! Great well maintained equipment, friendly staff & hands on Owner that cares . There is also plenty of parking across the street and gym is kept clean . The Gym stands head and shoulders above when compared to the other gyms in the area . For what you pay for a membership it is the Best overall valued gym on Long Island !

Mon endroit préfère ,propre,un accueil chaleureux, Marc est agréable et très sociable, les entraîneurs sont super sympa et font bien leur travail spécialement Tony,et la Fille . Les toilettes sont propres, on trouve de l'eau le mini bar est toujours en fonction on trouve des équipements de sport à vendre. L'heure de l'ouverture et de la fermeture sont incroyables pas d'excuses , Valencia fitness c'est la classe le progrès et l'encouragement. Endroit accessible etc .
