The people at the front are really unprofessional and talk rude to you when you don’t understand something. I went to this girl to talk about a collection letter I got that I didn’t understand and they talked in a tone that made it seem like she was talking down to you and blamed me for not staying on top of my financial situation when I told her I wasn’t made aware of it until I could finally access my Microsoft email on summer 2024; why would you talk like that to people who just want their questions answered? She had a grey sweater and talked with a Caribbean accent. I passed by the west quad several times and got people that were helpful and talked friendly but that girl was so rude I’m surprised someone unhelpful like her is there when there was probably someone that could’ve explained my situation better and with more sensitivity. Very disappointed. Bursar people in general are unhelpful and don’t make you aware of anything until you have a debt to pay and that awful girl made me very aware of that.

Buyer beware. I paid $500 (cash) for a 6-month membership and feel misled. The “fitness center” has no barbells and only a few sets of light dumbbells (~10–15 lb). I confirmed before paying that I could use the track and a small section of the turf. Despite posted hours (11:00–8:45 PM), I was kicked out of an unused corner behind the bleachers 45 minutes into a quiet workout because a soccer game started. I wasn’t on the field or track, just this fenced off area behind the stands yet staff said “liability,” (by that logic anyone in the stands at all is a liability) while providing no public schedule for games/practices that routinely shut members out. There’s no published “actual member hours” online or in the contract, so you can’t plan workouts. I’ve requested either written permission to use that safe corner during events or a refund. Until they provide transparent hours or refunds for people told they could use the turf, save your $500 and go elsewhere.

The gym is old and out dated! They want alumni to pay $600 a year to use their equipment facility which is ridiculous. And they want the community to pay close to $1,000 to use their facility as well. Its not flair and its not right. It should be better than this...

Lived near here since last century lol. With the removal of the bridge and one of the buildings is a lot of open space. Went here to vote. Was in and out.

Very nice architecture. Brooklyn College is right in my backyard yet I haven't been here since my aunt graduated in 2005. It has been vastly upgraded and maintained since the bad-ole-days of the 80's and 90's, when ankle deep trash littered the Quad daily (and the rest of NYC for that matter) great job CUNY, not often we can say that!
