This is the best Pilates studio in NYC/JC. Super challenging but not so frenetically paced that form suffers.

Challenging workout and not like a typical reformer class. Very clean space, right next to the river.

My first experience with Pilates and I'm beyond thrilled that I embarked on this journey. I was recently told I have a torn hip labrum, and most people would not go join a gym, however, Pilates is one of those mechanical type of exercises that can literally reform your body. Every instructor I have met has been absolutely amazing in both education of technique and friendless. Wundu bar is by far the best "gym" experience I have experiences in my many years of fitness.

EDIT: have gone nearly everyday now for the last 3 months & still loving it and the instructors!

I have been to do about 6 reformer Pilates
studios in downtown manhattan, and Wundabar is consistently my fav! Of course everyone has their own preference, but their machine and the moves we do in class feel like the most "happy medium" between all the places I've tried. It's not a super slow/meditative class like some studios can be with classic reformer, but it's also not very intense like megareformers can be. The machine feels like one of the most dynamic that I've used, like there are so many different elements to it which keeps things refreshing each class, I especially like that there is a jumpboard. I haven't even gotten to the best part - the VIEW! It's on the West Side Highway so you get to enjoy the Hudson River view. It's a bright space and the music is upbeat with popular songs but not aggressive. There are prob 8-10 reformers, so it's intimate but spaced out nicely. I like all the class times too. Obviously would like to gatekeep all this so that the studio doesn't get too busy for me to go to LOL but I def have been loving going! The instructors have all been great too :)

I've started practicing pilates at the newly opened Tribeca location of Wundabar. I LOVE this studio and the fantastic instruction that I receive.

The studio is immaculately clean and in a very scenic location along the west side highway overlooking the water.
