Nicole, the owner, was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Her communication was excellent while setting up my friend’s 35th birthday celebration. She checked in with me throughout the entire process, was flexible with our time and date, and made sure everything went smoothly. During the session, she was so patient, kind, and encouraging. You can tell she’s passionate about her business and genuinely loves what she does.

We loved the session because everyone was able to participate, even my friend’s mom, who’s in her 50s, was able to do it! Nicole empowered everyone in our group to try new things without ever making anyone feel pressured. The energy in the room was so positive, everyone cheered each other on and stepped outside of their comfort zones.

The studio was clean, spacious, and beautiful, and the pricing was very fair for such a unique experience. The birthday girl felt amazing and absolutely loved it!

Highly recommend Air Aerial Charlotte for birthdays, group events, or just a fun self-care activity. I’ll definitely be back to take some of their exercise classes. Loved the entire experience! 💕

Love this studio! Each instructor brings a different level of energy to help give you confidence and strength to push through the workout. The instructors are accommodating and helpful, the studio is spacious and clean, and each class is different from the others. I’ve left every class genuinely happy and laughing because of how amazing and fun this style of yoga is. They have created an environment that brings in the most supportive and encouraging community as well.

I took a Buti yoga class with Abby Mallard at AIR and I really loved it! Abby’s energy is amazing, and the class is so fun that you don’t feel like you’re working out, even though it DEFINITELY is a great workout. Be prepared to sweat, shake your booty, and have a great time! I’ll be back! 🥰

Abby's Buti Yoga class is FANTASTIC! She teaches it with high energy and powerful movements. While the yoga poses are traditional, Abby's creativity transforms them into dynamic and heart pumping movements that are fun and empowering.

I’ve been attending Air Aerial Fitness for about a month now, and I can truly say it’s been such a sublime experience for me. Every instructor I’ve had has been amazing in creating an atmosphere that is welcoming, supportive, and motivating. I especially want to take a moment to highlight Abby. Each class I’ve taken with her has left a lasting impression on me, not only do I leave feeling stronger physically, but I also leave feeling better mentally and emotionally. Abby has a gift for connecting with her students in a very genuine and personal way. She radiates such a positive aura that instantly uplifts the energy of the entire class. Abby challenges you to push yourself, but she also meets you exactly where you are that day, she checks in often throughout class, offering encouragement, guidance, and reassurance. As someone who is new to this type of workout class, this type of attentiveness is truly appreciated. On top of her aerial classes, I also love Buti Yoga that she teaches every 3rd Sunday. It’s such a fun change of pace and a great addition to the regular scheduled classes. Air Aerial has become such an uplifting part of my wellness journey, and I’m so grateful for Abby and the whole team who make it feel like more than just a workout.

I hosted my birthday party here and invited 15 of my friends. We had the BEST time. AIR exceeded my expectations. The studio is clean and the silks are beautiful with all the natural light coming in. Our instructor Nicole was friendly and professional. She was able to cater to all experience levels. My group of girls were goofing off but she made sure we stayed safe while also having tons of fun. I can’t wait to come back for a class. I wish I could rate AIR 10 stars, and I really don’t have any critiques. AIR made my birthday memorable and so much fun.

This studio and the community that comes with it is a wholesome and lovely place to workout. There is nothing but good vibes to be felt (and some sweat!) while working out at this studio. :) All of the trainers are super kind, professional, accommodating, and friendly! They each have slight variations to their workouts, which aids in participants gaining knowledge and variety; something I have found helpful. Nicole is superb at incorporating the community into the studio, offering a variety of workshops and events. I always leave feeling lighter and happier, and I would highly recommend this studio to friends and family!

I agree with Anna Kim's review. I took Air Foundation class today..Seemed to be the most beginner friendly class per the description...well it's not. I am completely new to this type of fitness & it's been a while since I've strength trained. I completed 30 minutes of the 50 minute class. Proud of myself for that because it was rough! Instruction is much to fast for beginners. Wish they had a true beginners class available other than Saturdays.

The class I took was aerial fitness and it was advertised as “suitable for all levels,” but my experience as a beginner was far from inclusive. The physical intensity was overwhelming, and I often felt unsure if I was performing the exercises correctly. The pace was too fast, and the trainer only corrected me once during the entire session. As the exercises became more complex, I found myself standing idle, confused about how to proceed.

The trainer demonstrated only a small portion of the exercises and described the rest verbally. This, combined with loud music, made it difficult to follow along. I often had to rely on observing other participants, which was not always helpful. At one point, we were instructed to jump on one leg, which I found concerning as it seemed risky, particularly for individuals with higher body weight like myself. When the next exercise also involved jumping, I decided to leave the class.

Perhaps a more beginner-friendly activity, like aerial yoga, would be a better fit for me. It seems like it might offer a gentler introduction to fitness with more focus on individualized guidance and support.

I have been going for about 3 weeks. I absolutely love these classes. I have been weight lifting for years but this class works muscles I have never used before. The silks and the stuff you can do is so beautiful. I have the new client month unlimited highly recommend getting that if you come and try this place out.

For most of my adult life I have lifted weights as my primary exercise. As I've gotten older it became increasingly more important for me to also work on my flexibility & balance. In 4 short months I've seen incredible improvements thanks to classes at Air.

The photos in their advertisements look hard but it's really not hard. It took me 2 classes to understand what's going on. Then I just followed the instructors who give you plenty of modifications from beginners through advanced students. Shout out to Nicole, Jennie, Gaby, Olivia, Kerri, Michelle, Samantha & Erin. They are all amazing!

A major pro: The photos. I have never been lifting and thought, "Wow! I want a photo of myself doing that." But I think this all the time at airfit. This is because aerial yoga is a beautiful, gentle and graceful way to exercise while being challenged. I know these adjectives aren't often attached to exercise. This is exactly why you have to go try it for yourself.

Such a fun class! Nicole is a great instructor and there are variations of everything for beginners (like me) and for the ones I saw who could do ALL the things I can't (yet), and everyone in between.

The vibe is fun and relaxed but it is way different than expected. I figured it would be a workout but it was a WORK OUT. You don't notice it at first because it's fun but you really use those muscles. 10/10 highly recommend!

AIR Charlotte is a great studio with a hometown vibe. It’s in an easily accessible location with lots of parking. The front desk was friendly and helpful too. I took aerial yoga with Tiffany and highly recommend this class for all levels! She catered to people who had never been on a silk as well as advanced students who were perfecting their tricks. If you’re in the charlotte area and looking for a fun and fabulous workout you’ve got to try AIR charlotte!

I have been working out here on and off for almost four years. AIR is one of my favorite ways to strength train and diversify my workout program! Each class offers something a little different. All challenge your strength but I love the interval classes to kick up your cardio and flow for flexibility and stability. I highly recommend you try it at least once, the trainers are great at showing you how to move your body to successfully get into the fun positions.

The lovely ladies here are so helpful and teach wonderfully fun classes! Air fit is amazing and I always feel so accomplished afterwards.
