I am here with my Fiance for 3 months because she took a travel nurse contract and I will be honest. This place is great .my Anytime Fitness in Coshocton, Oh.isn't close to what this facility offers when it comes to equipment. Maybe they could use this facility as a model on what an Anytime Fitness gym should look like . This makes me very happy and I will be here often .thankyou. place looks great .

Only complaint was no manager during staffing hours (on my first day), and their $50 cancellation fee, feels like double profiting off someone’s inactivity (if someone pays their monthly fee and doesn’t utilize the gym… and have to pay a higher than the membership fee, to cancel).

I had a great workout experience here. I was in town last week for a business conference. I needed a spot to lift, so I stopped by & got a two day pass, for $20. Great equipment, atmosphere & incredibly friendly staff. I hit chest, shoulders & triceps on Wednesday followed by back & biceps the next morning. It had everything I needed to get a superb workout in. I recommend this place, highly recommend.

Easily my favorite AF gym I've been to. If I didn't travel so much and actually had a home gym, I would want it to be like this one. Spacious with loads of newer and speciality equipment. So many machine variations. Everything is actually organized by muscle group. Lots of extra equipment for different types of workouts (rings, bags, etc.) Really feels like they care about everyone from what they offer here. Very clean. Plus the cardio machines aren't facing the windows (weird preference but I like this a lot since most gyms are just in outlet malls).

Some gyms make it a work-out just to work-out, especially given the pandemic, like making 1 hr. appts, masks, watching you while you work-out to reprimand you, dress codes, you name it.
THIS IS MY FAV GYM EVER!!!!! Staff is the best, always happy to help. I love the environment that feels like a private gym, more importantly open 24/7 so I can go literally Anytime & not stress about the convenience w/ my work schedule as 5 AM, plus never really packed.
Location is also great, especially since we can go wherever, like when I'm on vacay in Boston!! Thank you for not being Planet Fitness - free weights are freely welcome here :)

Clean 24 hour gym that has the basics for everything you need. Would be great, if it wasn't for the absolutely horrendous process of trying to cancel your membership. I went into the gym and spoke with whoever was there to cancel my membership, except they said you have to "send an email to the owner". Strange, but alright. Sent an email, and after 4 days I sent a follow up. Another few days I send another, and still no reply. After almost a week total I finally get a response asking if i'd like to freeze my subscription. Thanks but no thanks, I'd like to cancel. Repeat of the previous process and its been about a week with still no response after multiple followup emails. If you sign up here, I hope you love it because you never get to leave!

Having a quality 24/7 gym is important to us. Getting to the gym around 3:50am to get in a good workout before facing the day is routine.

Anytime @ University Centre is a clean, friendly establishment. We have been frequenting for the last 6 years when we moved to downtown Wilmington.

Whether you are in the area for a quick trip or live here and are looking for a place to workout AF has equipment for almost any workout routine.

I Highly recommend checking out the gym and picking up a membership.
Bonus - you can go to any AF center across the country with the 24/7 access key fob without having to do anything differently. Not many national gyms offer that perk.

This is one of the best Anytime fitness locations i have been too. I am currently on a road trip and I have been using different Anytime Fitness locations to workout and this one is pretty impressive. There are a lot of machines and space to do exercises. A lot more variety of equipment and there is ample parking. They even had climbing ropes. Pretty impressive 👏

I chose this gym after the reopening from COVID shutdown because it worked best with my work hours considering I go 5-6am and most gyms had limited hours at the time. Although they did not reinforce masks during the pandemic, I love attending this gym for the space, extra dumbbells, and they have more leg machines than the anytime on patriot way. Bathrooms are usually pretty messy but I never stay to shower anyway. Fair price for a membership considering you can pop into the gym any time day or night!

I have a friend that just moved to the area and he asked about the different Gyms that we have here. Since there are so many he decided to do a couple of free trials before deciding on a membership. In the middle of the day he rang the buzzer to be let in. The gentleman (I use the term loosely) that answered the door was beyond nasty and seemed to be bothered by the potential customer standing in front of him.
There are too many gyms in the area to put up with such Poor customer service. You can be sure that I’ll spread the word 😉

Great place with everything you could want. Dumbbells, barbells, bumper plates, battle ropes and more. The owner personally introduced himself to me and everyone is friendly. Anytime Fitness shocked me today.. there was a dispute with my membership and instead of headache and arguing and them telling me that it was is in the contract. The owner called me from his personal number and refunded my money back.. I still cannot believe it. Great people doing business the right way. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Glad I chose to join this gym, unfortunately I’m moving, but this place definitely deserves a good review. The reasonable membership cost is fantastic for the quality and variety of equipment (I do mostly resistance and functional training, didn’t touch cardio but it’s there). I did a free trial before signing up and was concerned about the size of the space, but it was never too crowded regardless of time of day, probably because the gym is open 24/7. If there’s not a class in session, you can use the group ex room for your workout. Always clean and tidy, especially bathrooms (I think you can tell a lot about a place by how they keep their restrooms). Equipment stayed well organized and maintained. People and staff were friendly and approachable. There’s a variety of people who work out there, so anyone should feel comfortable and welcomed to be a member at this location.

I was at Wrightsville Beach for a few days (June 26 - 30) and wanted to work out a couple of times while I was there. I live in Wake Forest and belong to a very good Anytime Fitness there. I found this facility to be very clean and the equipment was great! I lift heavy and they had everything I needed. I don't know why the "clown" in another review rated their equipment low. He probably just began training and felt intimidated so he decided to write a bad review. My advice to him is get into shape before you criticize equipment you obviously know nothing about. Also, the staff appeared very professional and the ones I saw were in great physical condition. I will go to the beach again this summer and will definitely utilize this place again.

Terrible gym. I tried to cancel my membership back in October and they told me to cancel I would have to pay out the rest of my 12 month commitment, which at the time would have been about $128. So I just froze my account for a couple months and then ended up starting up again until my 12 months were up. Now they are making me pay an additional $57 to cancel my gym membership and just now told me that I could have cancelled for $50 back in October. So basically have paid Anytime Fitness an additional $135, when I wanted to cancel months ago. Go to any other gym in Wilmington, completed got ripped off.

I was pleased with this Anytime Fitness location.

I found the building without issue, and it was clean, logical, and stylish. The floor was comfortably large, and the equipment was modern, varied, and well-maintained. The bathrooms, also, were clean. The staff member I interacted with was friendly and attentive, and would, I felt, be glad to help out with anything I might need. I had zero problems during my workout, and left there satisfied with my experience.

It's brand new! Still being worked on but opening very soon. The equipment, interior, classes to be available and areas already completed look great! Plus it will have a limited number of members to start. The fact that this is the 1st of five locations going to be in Wilmington is IDEAL!!
