I hate writing reviews, but my experience at Body20 has been too life changing to not write something. I'm in my 40s and finding the time and motivation to work out has always been challenging. Body20 has been a lifesaver! The short workouts fit into my schedule and I've noticed a big difference in my strength and energy. My jeans are already fitting better in the short time I've been a member.
The coaches are all extremely motivating. My knees are bad and they are able to modify the moves to keep me challenged but safe. The studio is clean, friendly, and not intimidating at all! I feel better than I've felt in years.

I’ve been working out at Body20 for a year now. They have helped me achieve my goal to increase my muscle mass. I can only say good things about Dennis,JT Tristan and the other staff and trainers. They are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They do a great job of pushing you to your potential while maintaining your safety, watching form, ability and checking in with you regularly. I feel like I get a great workout that balances goals, and achievement while maintaining my health and wellness. I would highly recommend Body20 Mooresville.

They will not stop calling and texting me. The previous reviews that say the same are NOT an exaggeration like they claim in their responses. They call me almost every other day, followed by a voicemail AND a text for the last few weeks. Finally had to just block the number. Do not express interest.

Coach Derek is AMAZING!!! At first I was unsure about trying this, but after talking with him he said “you can’t underestimate this technology” this workout with amazing and the amazing lady working the front desk as well as Derek on Saturday morning were both wonderful! Go give it a short!!

Very friendly staff, but I did not really feel like I had a workout. I feel it. It’s a lot of cumbersome wet hassle where you can just have a normal workout. This is great for people who have neurological problems and want to keep their muscles up.

I started with BODY20, just to see what’s it like. Wow, in 7 weeks what a difference in both strength, balance, with an added bonus of weight loss. Each instructor (I have used 5) are all wonderful and encouraging. Their style is a bit different from each other, but EXCELLENT in manor. I am very happy I added BODY20 to my lifestyle.

The 600 follow up phone calls and texts to sign up after expressing interest once then letting them know YOU'LL contact them when ready... ridiculous.
Be ready to get bombarded several times a week, including 7 AM Saturday morning and 8 AM Sunday morning.
Don't bother being polite because after 5 failed attempts of the first 5 phone calls asking ever so nicely the message wasn't received, and then they get upset when you are at wits end telling them to stop. I had to literally yellto get the message across as the employee would not confirm my removal for contact. Funny how they don't like a dose of their own medicine. Thumbs down.
Try another sales tactic.

Denis and Loren are the real deal. You won’t leave laughing, but you WILL leave feeling like you’ve conquered something. They push you hard—like really hard—but they do it with a sense of humor that somehow makes you forget that you’re literally sweating through the toughest workout of your life.
The 20-minute sessions are short, but don’t let the time fool you. They’ll have you questioning your life choices and maybe even your decision to sign up, but by the end, you’ll be happy it’s over—and proud of yourself for making it through. They’re tough, they’re effective, and they want you to succeed.
It’s not easy, and sometimes you’ll want to cry through it (and they’ll probably tell you to stop being dramatic), but when that last minute is up, you’ll be so glad you stuck with it. If you want results, a challenge, and a workout that’s as intense as it is quick, this gym is where you need to be!

I joined Body20 to help with weight loss and balance issues. After a handful of sessions with James I can already tell a difference. He is very knowledgeable, patient and works you hard to your potential. Although sessions are pricey they are totally worth it as my time is more valuable to me than a gym membership where I would have to spend hours in to gain the results I'm looking to achieve. Entire staff is very welcoming. Would highly recommend a demo with James.

James was a pro! He had a very calm, yet perfectly encouraging demeanor. He understood my goals (marathon training specific) and made the appropriate modifications on the fly to help me have the best experience possible (far from “easy” but my legs won’t be destroyed tomorrow). I have worked in the fitness industry for the past 15 years at every capacity from membership sales to Regional PT director, GM, and ownership. I’m only giving my background in hopes those reading this review heed my words. THIS IS THE NEXT EVOLUTION.
Upon entry:
The training area and studio overall does not hit like a gym upon entry. That’s a good thing for most. Totally devoid of the emotions that typical gym shoppers lug around(anxiety, fear of judgements, insecurity, discomfort…you know!). The only people I encountered initially was my coach and receptionist. Scanning the 2000sq/ft facility another trainer was instructing his client. No intimidating machines to learn or heavy weighs to move around in this system. It was meticulously cleaned and organized. Staff and coaches personable and knew the system.
Pre workout:
The initial set up required a change of clothes into the required suit equivalent to my Under Armor compression tights I wear under my clothes when it’s cold.
Last the vest and tech were cinched around arms and legs. Snug but not uncomfortable at all surprisingly
Workout:
Low impact, no weights. 12min. 10sec on 10sec off. Dialing in the intensity of the suit along the way. Def a unique feeling.
The result:
Better workout than I’ve had in years. No cardio warm up needed, joints didn’t need to be lubed up, no chance to have a bad workout. 0-100 and felt great. Every muscle on my body is sore today, like real sore. Blown away. I’m sold.

I am an obese, out of shape woman in her 40s. If I can do it, so can you! This is a great way to get moving, because it is personal training adjusted to where you are but pushing you to keep going. Denis has been my trainer multiple times, and I can already tell a difference in how my body feels because he listens but challenges me. Even an old shoulder injury is moving better because of his help! It's pricy but worth it! HIghly recommend!
