Be careful signing a month to month contract with them. I went in to cancel in person as the contract required, twice. Was told both times that only the owner knew how to cancel contracts and to come back again later. Moved away and they collected another year of dues from me, had to cancel my bank account to stop it. Despite emailing and several phone conversations where I was told they noted the account and would stop, they still charged me 3 more months of dues and sent it to collections. Predatory practice to only have 1 person able to cancel a contract and good luck catching them there.

Love this Gym...
However, I moved out of state and called (3X) to cancel my account. You can not unless you talk to the owner? So since this was my 3rd time calling I asked the receptionist to write the owner a note with my Phone number and she refused to and hung up in my FACE.... WOW

I have tried to cancel my membership for the last 3 months. The staff is not allowed to cancel memberships, only the manager is. Conveniently he works early morning to early afternoon… when I work. I am out $150 because of this. My only option is to cancel my card. Poor business practice.

Good equipment, roomy, Mark is knowledgeable and friendly. The equipment stays clean, as does the bathroom. The sauna is an unexpected plus and the lighting is good. People are friendly to one another and it never seems overcrowded. Background music doesn’t drown out conversation, but most folks have headphones these days. Helpful staff. Clean. What else would you ask? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I relocated from WDC and needed a Gym. Bodyworx isn't a huge place, but they have everything you need for an excellent workout, including Aerobics and Zumba classes. The staff and the other members are very friendly here, and the facility is kept very clean.

Great facility. Besides weights and equipment to for any body part also provided are speed bag (punching), body bag, heavy ropes and huge tires, SAUNA along w/ clean showers and locker rooms. Classes available (most free participation).I've hardly ever had to weight to use a machine. There's a couple type machines I've never seen before not even at any other gym. Owner/employees are super nice and helpful.this is your ONE STOP SHOP for an awesome workout. ( No I'm not the owner/employee).

I cant say enough about this Gym. The owner, Mark Pressley, is knowledgeable about fitness and his machines. He takes pride in his equipment. Never is there cracked or torn pads on the equipment. The bathrooms are spotless. Nice to walk into a gym and not smell "gym bag" Classes are held often and offer a wide variety (see pic) . Mr. Pressely genuinely loves his gym and likes his patrons. Well deserved 5 star rating.

I wouldn't even give him one star but I had to put something I was racially profiled the cops was called on me outside of the gym and I just was in my car just talking on the phone Mark the owner lie and say that he don't know who it was when I knew it was one of his employees and she told the police officer that I was not a member of the gym and she was the only one who seen me in my car cause she was parked right next to me and in my conversation when I was on the phone and minutes later here comes the cops and I been a member of the gym for sometime. So now I left the gym. Mark told me I can finish the rest of this month out because I was up to date in my payments. The next month he taken $65 out my bank. So he lied. So I will advise you not to become a member at the gym anyone will smile in your face when you're paying them money cause they need your business. But if he back this lady up when she racially profiled me Mark must be racist too.

This gym is not worth a penny of your money! The customer service is terrible and the manager is even worse. The machines are not cleaned properly by the patrons that use it, the equipment is old and rusty and the towels are covered in oil and smell. The classes are sporadic and the attendance in the classes is low. When I tried to cancel my contract, I was told multiple different stories by one of the employees and when I requested to speak with the manager, he refused to speak with me. Mark Pressley has terrible customer service skills and does not even follow his own rules. Rule number 17 says to speak with Mark Pressley with any complaints and yet that is impossible to do when he refuses to speak with any customers. DO NOT GO THERE!
