Jay is a great trainer. Knowledgable about strength training and adaptive to strains and pains that come with exercise and age LOL. He's friendly and patient, and the studio is well equipped and clean.

I’ve been training with Jay at Boz Fitness for 5 months and I can confidently say he is one of the best personal trainers out there! From day one, he took the time to understand my goals, fitness level, and any medical limitations I had. Every workout is carefully planned, challenging, and tailored to my ability and goals.
What sets Jay apart is his ability to motivate and push you beyond what you think you’re capable of—all while maintaining a fun and supportive atmosphere. His knowledge of fitness, nutrition, and proper form has been invaluable in helping me stay injury-free and see real results. The gym is clean and organized, using quality equipment.
Thanks to Jay’s assistance, I’ve gained strength, endurance, mobility, and lost weight. Quick summary of my challenges, when I started with Jay, includes: being 20+ overweight, past spinal & hip injuries, out of shape, age 52, and just finished chemo. Well first, let me begin by saying I have never had a personal trainer. I might go so far to say that Jay has probably never had a client like me. I am 64 years old and was very out of shape and overweight when Jay took me in as a new client. In just 4 months, I have dropped 50 pounds and more importantly I feel great! I am once again able to enjoy all of the phyiscally challenging activities I enjoy.
Jay has been not only my personal trainer, but my motivation! As you will read if you browse through the other reviews, Jay is a professional in every manner, he will listen to you, work around any issues that come up during training or outside training and will make sure no part of the training will be in excess of what you are capable of, all while
making sure you see progress and achieve your goals. My goals have far exceeded what I felt I could accomplish.
The facilty is always clean and the equipment is top notch. After reading through some of the other reviews, if there was a sixth star to tack on I would make it 6 for sure.
Don’t let age, your current physical fitness condition, or anything else stop you from achieving your fitness goals! I would highly recommend Jay @ Boz Fitness to anyone who has physical fitness goals in mind!!

I don't what I would've done if I wouldn't have found Boz fitness. I was coming off years of back issues and I was looking to gain confidence to get my body and mind back to a place of no fear lifting weights. If you've experienced back pain you know exactly what I mean. From my first consultation with Jay, I felt his approach could be exactly what I was looking for to help me reach my goals. I couldn't have been more right! Jay's knowledge of fitness training is top notch. He tailored my workouts to what my body could do. He is very patience and learned what my abilities are. He pushed me when needed and allowed me to back off if I wasn't confident about the exercise. I was very nervous about certain exercises and I flat out told him I would never do a deadlift. Guess what? I'm doing deadlifts today. Jay is patience, kind, knowledgeable, so smart, and just fun to be around. His enthusiasm for fitness is contagious and he really comes from a place of contribution and wants to see you succeed. Not to mention he plays the best music! I truly feel this is best gym I've ever been to and the personal one on one training is second to none. I am forever grateful I found Boz Fitness!

I started training with Jay four months ago. He is easily the best trainer I’ve had. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and truly cares about his clients. He’s warm and funny and keeps the conversation flowing (if that’s what you want, which I do!) so you don’t even realize how hard he’s pushing you. The studio is immaculate (though it might need a power washing after I set fire to the stair master) and private. Best of all, your goals become HIS goals. It’s so great to have a trainer who is helping you get results and is as excited about it as you are.

My husband and I are part time residents in Pinehurst. We always train with Jay during our stays. We aren't new to working out in a gym but have found we work harder and safer with Jay. HIs gym is clean, fully equipped and private. Our workouts are challenging, varied and designed specifically to meet our primary goals of building strength to prevent injury and increase flexibilty for golfing. Jay has great interpersonal skills and knowledge. He keeps our sessions fun and interesting.

Jay is, hands down, one of the best trainers in Moore County. His private facility is clean and equipment is top notch. Every workout is different, no two sessions are the same. My husband & I were in from out of town visiting my father in law & his girlfriend. They have been going to Jay for a while now. We joined them for two nights working out with him. I never had a personal trainer but I have done different workouts before so I didn’t know what to expect. Only experiencing two sessions with Jay, I can say I loved it and it exceeded my expectations! He was very friendly & planned a great group workout out for us! Before we left to go back home, we did the inbody scale and set some goals for ourselves to get in a better eating/workout routine! Jay was very informative and helpful with all the questions we had to set ourselves up! Next time we are in town to visit we will definitely be looking forward to another work out with him! I highly recommend him!

Jay is the real deal! An excellent trainer that knows exactly how to lead you to your fitness and strength goals. He listened to me and developed a custom approach that feels sustainable. I am shocked by how my body is changing - I am reverse aging at 43 yrs old. I am also a mom and work full time - if you follow his advice and do the work you will feel and look better than ever. Boz Fitness is amazing! I’ve been working with Jay for almost a year and have seen a significant increase in strength. I have worked out the majority of my adult life and have had a few trainers along the way.. none compare to Jay! When I first started w/ Jay I was nursing a shoulder injury from improper training/over use and had dealt with pain for at least 2 years. Jay believed we could fix things with proper training and to be honest I wasn't sure I even believed him after 2 years of pain... within 3-4 months I was PAIN-FREE! Jay not only listens to my concerns about aches & pains as I age but he strategically works to build and strengthen those areas so that we fix the pain instead of learning to deal with it. His knowledge of the body and muscle groups is unmatched!! He's the best there is!
