British Swim School offers swimming lessons for kids and adults of all ages, beginning as early as 3 months. Located inside of Hampton Inn, our swim school is open year-round, so you can learn to swim when you’re ready and continue until you’ve mastered the skills. We use gentle teaching methods and a survival-first approach to help swimmers of all levels become safer and more confident in the water. Our safe, fun, and effective teaching methods have made us the preferred choice for parents and students for over 40 years. Our confidence-building curriculum and small group swimming classes provide a consistent format and structure with one-on-one attention for each swimmer. Private swimming lessons are subject to availability.

My son was absolutely terrified of water and the British Swim School staff and the instructors have been so caring, patient and just all around terrific with him and the other kids while I was watching on the side. I cannot give them enough stars on how much they have helped my son. He has grown and changed so much since starting and has gotten more, more comfortable amd confident every time we go. I highly suggest giving them a try!

Thank you BSS for your unfailing patience and kindness with our sensitive kiddo! She was hesitant to get in the pool last year and each instructor was still so wonderful with her. This year she is a little braver and she’s come so far! Her teacher, Bella, is fantastic. Thanks also to Chris who has been so helpful creating the right schedule for us.

I would highly recommend swim classes with the British Swim School as they provided my granddaughter with specific guidance and instruction that allowed her to progress with her swimming skills within a short period of time. The instructors are very good with the age group that they are teaching, safety protocols are followed, and make up lessons are easily scheduled if a lesson is missed. Overall great experience.

We have had a very positive experience with British Swim School! Chris was extremely helpful with scheduling and finding something that worked well for our family. Ryan and Emma have been great with our kids in the pool. Hampton Inn is an ideal location that has plenty of parking and the pool area isn’t too loud. We look forward to many more lessons in our future!

I couldn’t recommend the British Swim school more! Chris and his staff are incredible. Our 3.5 y/o son has been very hesitant to join in during the group classes but the instructors and Chris have been beyond patient with him. Chris has constantly encouraged him and offered to do everything in his power to help our boy feel more comfortable and confident! 10/10 experience

We love British swim school! my son has quickly learned many skills and has so much confidence in the water. The teachers are great with the kids and I have learned so much from them. I highly recommend these lessons if you have young children!

Our 6 yr old and 2 yr old have been taking lessons with Ryan and team since this location opened in early May. We’ve had a great experience! Both of our girls have made significant progress in comfort with the water and safety. Our oldest starting swimming within a month (even though she wasn’t being taught that in class) and is floating for 30 seconds at a time, when a few weeks ago she couldn’t float at all. The courses start with safety then progress to swimming when the core skills are in place. It’s amazing watching the young babies and toddlers and how natural floating is for them. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience here! My daughter had a horrible experience at another group swim less provider. I was so scared to try it again. Christopher talked to me on the phone and answered ALL of my questions. From the very first class it was clear that this experience was going to be different. I am so excited to witness my daughter's continued progress; I am thrilled about how happy, relaxed, and engaged she is during lessons.
