I had a decent experience here, but I wont be returning. The trainers were knowledgeable about fitness and exercise, but it felt very “clique-ish”, with lots of huddling around before the workout started and not a lot of welcoming going on for newer people.
What I didn’t enjoy was how repetitive the workout felt and dirty the gym was. The workouts were hard and I had little direction from the trainer. They run through it quickly and expect you to keep up. I felt like I had to constantly ask the trainer what to do and they were always talking with a member, not really interested in helping the new people. 1 trainer with over 25+ people in one class, it was hard to get that time to feel pushed and noticed while doing the exercises correctly. Another big issue I had was there weren't enough of one weight for everyone! Many people needed 20’s-25’s but there were only 2-3 sets of those weights, resulting in either going under or over the weight we actually needed to improve… with the amount they are asking for monthly, you would expect to be able to use the weight you need and also get 1on1 training throughout the workout.
Sanitary wise I was very disappointed. After using any of the weights, my hands turned a dark brown/black color. There are many classes a day and being there for a few weeks, I never saw any of the staff/members wipe up after the weights.. they had the members put them back themselves but they don’t provide any wipes like other gyms do, resulting in unsanitary weights after every session! The gym floor gets vacuumed daily, but never actually fully cleaned. Lots of dirt and hair on your hands/clothes if you have to touch the floor for an exercise, which you do in every workout. The bathrooms are decent, but with one bathroom (closest to the main door) you will share with the child care, which will smell of dirty diapers. Also no showers to get ready for work.
Overall, the community was very friendly but the staff and gym itself, didn’t give me that push and motivation I wanted in a group fitness setting. It was hard, but I got no genuine 1on1 help and was bored with it basically being the same movements every other day. I was over it. I have some mom friends who aren’t impressed with the child care either as it’s just a room they throw all the kids in (not separated by age) and whoever is working that day, seems to “supervise”.
Hope this helps for anyone looking to go. When they are running a special, it’s worth it, but to pay good money for a rundown, not well stocked gym, it wasn’t for me!

The community and support system I've found at Burn Boot Camp in Greenville is second to none. The trainers are knowledgeable and encouraging. The 45 minute workouts are always challenging. So far I’m loving burn! I’ve been doing the 7 day trial and after I plan on signing up for the four weeks! All the trainers are so supportive and do a great job at keeping you pumped and motivated. The atmosphere feels so good when you walk in and every one is so encouraging. I’ve never felt so comfortable working out at a gym before like I have with this place!!

I’ve been going to burn over a year now and am constantly amazed at what I am able to accomplish thanks to the help of our amazing trainers. In my first 3 months I lost 10lbs and have continued to drop weight and inches while building muscle. The 1:1 focus meetings have helped me so much with my nutrition goals. I love every part of Burn! Ive never been organized working out or really felt like I knew what I was doing. Being at Burn with the AMAZING trainers we have has helped me grow so much and learn alot. Every camp is a new experience and although they can be intense, I love the challenge of pushing through and knowing I worked hard. Not to mention the family and friends you make is unbelievable!!!

The workouts are always different each day, the trainers use a variety of equipment to keep things from getting boring and the music they play during the workout is a bonus! I wish I had a playlist of the burn workout mixes 😂 I feel like I have a personal trainer every time I come in because they plan it out, set it up, demo everything and provide modifications to the exercises, plus they don't let me slack off which I definitely need.
My three kids (7,6,1) look forward to coming and playing with other kids in their kids room while I workout. The lady that watches them is super nice 💕 there's no extra charge for child watch either.
Overall I'm super excited to have finally found Burn and look forward to this fitness journey I've started!

It has been the best investment to be a part of such an uplifting community, who always is welcoming and encourages you to challenge yourself each workout. I love the variety of the workouts between strength and cardio, and 45 minutes is the perfect time!! I always leave with the endorphins flowing !! They are also very accommodating with me having a varying student schedule and I can pause and resume my membership at anytime. The best place to become the best version of yourself! I've done other "boot camps" and nothing comes close to the experience at Burn! I've been here while achieving the best shape of my life, throughout a pregnancy, and now working to bounce back. The staff at Burn can help you meet your goals no matter your starting point! I have been a member of Burn Boot Camp since 2018, I did several 6 week challenges before fully committing. While at Burn Boot Camp I have found that having a great support system is key to staying focused, all my burn sisters are amazing at motivating and keeping each other accountable! Our trainers are also key to keeping me on track! The one on one focus meetings enlighten me on how to better my diet and training. If you are on the edge about commuting, just do it!
