This place is great !! First time we have been there but it seems be the first rate.. my granddaughter goes there with lots of young kids in each class . All looking like they are having fun and it looks like each child gets attention to their skill level. Very small to college level gymnasts are their at different times ..

Strong gym family, supportive, encouraging, and fun while maintaining a high level of expectations to push athletes to surpass their own goals without risking or compromising their physical or mental health. We love our CCG family!

My daughter loves going here, she was in a girl's 1 class this year and will be taking a tumbling class this summer, and we also participate in Fun Gym Nights (like a parents night out) which she loves.
Everyone here has always been really friendly and helpful. The only downside I have witnessed is the turnaround/moving around of employees. They employ a lot of young workers though so it's to be expected.

They do not have a class for boys except for a tumbling class. My son loves to do gymnastics and he found this amazing studio that can’t even allow him any classes he wants to do. He is amazing probably better than some of the kids there!!!!!

My daughter has taken gymnastics here for several years. She started out in recreational classes and eventually was invited to be on the T&T competitive team. The gym is my daughters second home as she spends 9 hours a week training here. Self Discipline, confidence, and dedication are just some things I have enjoyed watching my child gain. As parents we always think we know what’s right for our kids but I have come to learn(not always easily)that sometimes others know what’s good for them as well. CCG is a great place for any child to experience gymnastics!

UPDATE: Last Tuesday, I received a call from Ms. Yeager, the owner of CCG. She very kindly expressed her concern about my review below and apologized for the gym allowing us to feel we weren't valued. She said that she'd printed my review below and distributed it to her staff so that they would understand our perspective and prevent this kind of experience for other students.

It's hard to overstate the power (at least with me) of this kind of call. I know this was not an easy call to make, and Ms. Yeager was kind and professional and generous. I sincerely appreciate this call and am changing my rating to reflect my gratitude.

CCG is an excellent place to learn gymnastics, and I'm confident Ms. Yeager is making it a wonderful place to feel valued!

ORIGINAL REVIEW:

We signed up our daughter last August . She was 5 at the time and this was our first exploration of a gymnastics school. I met with the owner for a tour and was impressed with the facility and the achievements of many of their students.

Overall, our daughter had a good experience in her weekly lessons. She liked her teacher, Miss Reese (sp?) very much (and our daughter is not one to love just any teacher she has). Our daughter learned some of the foundational skills and enjoyed the other students in her class.

However, we are leaving this school for the following reason: Our perception was that other than Miss Reese, no one at the school cared whether we attended or not. Perhaps it is different for the older, more competitive students, but for us, we felt like the school didn't appreciate us as members of the school and customers.

I am a former high school teacher and wrestling coach, so I might be hypersensitive to the attitude toward students and athletes, but here are some of the details that bothered me:

1. We were never greeted when we walked in the door of the gym. Even though there is almost always someone at the front desk by the door, we would walk in, look at that person expecting a greeting, and either go on upstairs without salutations or we would initiate the greeting.
2. When we left after each lesson, the same experience. When I leave a restaurant, even the hostess says, "Thank you! Come back and see us!" Not a big deal in itself, but it made us feel like we weren't really important to CCG as members of their community.
3. Picture night. We were warned that there would be a photographer there one night and that instructional time would be compromised. What we didn't understand is that pictures weren't optional. The pictures happened before the lesson, so if you wanted your lesson, you had to stay through the photo session, which took up half the 50-minute lesson. When I complained about this and suggested alternatives, CCG did offer make-up lessons at no charge but argued that the process was the best for all involved. I still feel like this photo op was a revenue-generating project that was more for the benefit of the school than the students.
4. When I contacted the school to notify them that we were withdrawing, the school didn't ask why we were leaving, didn't ask if they could do anything to change our minds, and didn't even express any sadness that we were leaving. In my business, if I lose a customer, I want to know why and I want to see if I can do anything to keep him or her.

So, my overall review of CCG is that it's a good school for instruction but disappointing if being a valued student/customer is important to you.

I go to CCG and I have learned so much if you want a gymnastics gym/coach definitely go there. The coaches push you to the limits and make sure you get all the practice you need to be a gymnastics 5/5 stars
