Great gym and great staff, but they should stop advertising 24/7 when the system is always down. Been here for a month and Iβve never seen the system actually work early in the morning.

If you want to get 24/7 access, make sure to take a picture of the "orientation" paperwork. They somehow lost mine and never gave me the access. Only just now finding it out because the "new leadership" is now demanding everyone get kicked out of the gym at 8 just to reverify they have the access

Definitely a good little gym enough cardio machines to not have to wait on someone and the weights look good to but I use my home gym for that. But not bad. Showers and bathrooms have always been clean when I have stopped by.

This is where it all started for me! I remember walking to this gym from Eureka Springs as 13-year-old kid back in 1989 when Fort Bragg was an open Base. I would sit outside of this gym and asked the soldiers to sign me in! I wasn't a military dependent so I didn't have an ID to get access. For the most part I would get in. The front desk guy would come outside and ask me who i was waiting for. I made up some name just to get him off my back. But then he noticed i would always sign in with a different person. To make a long story short he started letting me in!! I was there when the boxing ring was still there!! I can't express what this gym means to me. I'm currently a General Manager for a fitness center franchise. This was the first gym I ever attended!! June 4, 1994, I was finishing up a workout I lost track of time that and missed my high school graduation. I got a speeding ticket from an MP that forced me to go to traffic school so it would show up on my insurance. This place will always and forever be the reason why i took the fitness route of life: Professional Boxer, Marathon runner, 3 times NPC Title holder, Bachelors in Bio-Kinesiology and has always been gym goer 1989. Thanks Callahan!!!

Small gym but has everything you need for a great workout. Missing one or two machines I would like but it doesnβt take away from the experience. Love the convenience of it being 24 hours as well. One of my favorite gyms on Fort Liberty

Decent gym. Close by. Small compared to the other gyms on base. You need to get there either super early or super late or you wonβt be able to use the equipment you want. Minutes One Star: Some equipment has been βOut of Orderβ for weeks. Minus One Star: They refuse to replace the filter on the water machine.

They seriously need lockers in this place. They have signs saying you can't carry bags. Because of this, someone stole my hoodie from the restroom area. I mean, I had that hoodie since 2013, and it was not in the best condition, but come on. If you have to steal an old beat up worn out hoodie, you have some serious problems in your life that require more than spending time at the gym. But back to my initial complaint, get some damn lockers in the gym.

Has potential, unfortunately half the equipment is broken, water fountain is broken and the 24 hour access depends whether or not the door works... it would be nice if DPW would fix something on the installation.....

Very friendly staff and patrons at this gym. Low key, smaller workout place that has everything you may need individually, but wonβt intimidate you like some of the larger gyms on post. Would not recommend for a group workout of any size, but perfect for the solo patron.π―

If there are deadlift platforms, why arenβt there round plates for deadlifting?
Gym itself is small, but has everything you need. Just wish there was something beside the 12 sides plates that always move and make keeping consistent form a challenge.

The 24/7 access is sweet in comparison to other gyms on post. I donβt believe the others offer this. Anyway, the Callahan has everything you need to have a good workout, but not everything I prefer. Maybe itβs cause of the pandemic, but they offer no yoga mats, resistance bands, plyometric boxes, kettlebells, and their training equipment could be exchanged for something more modern. Did they used to sell smoothies here? Because I notice they have an non-operational concession stand. Anyway, I do like the gym has a hip abduct and adduction machine, versus Ritz-Epps or Hercules, where I located none. Anyway, great folks work here and certainly, hot military men everywhere- sometimes, too many for my comfort (it gets packed). π

Not a bad fitness center at all. Keep in mind, compared to other gyms on base this one is a bit smaller, however, it definitely has everything you need for a good workout: it has free weights that include dumbells up to 150lbs, about 3 flat bench press stations, 1 incline and decline press station, and 3 squat racks. You have your standard cable machines here as well that include seated row, pulldown etc. Decent variety of workout machines that target all muscle groups and a good amount of cardio equipment if you're looking for that as well. This gym offers 24 hour access- if you're looking to hit the gym after hours with little to no interruption from other people, ladies and gents, this is the way. Set it up before 1800 with the staff over there and you'll be golden.

Cardio machines aren't well maintained, and they are not on stable surfaces. One machine bounced around while you run on it seems like they would level the machines properly and keep them maintained if not take the out of the gym and make room for other activities. Waste of space to store broken equipment.

A 24/7 gym for those that like late night workouts or going during non-peak hours. You have to register your CAC at the front desk in order to have 24/7 access to the facility. Overall great gym with plenty equipment. Not only for weights but also for cardio you have your rowing machines, treadmills and bikes. Depending what time you go it can be really crowded but thatβs any gym on post. If you have free time while everyone else is at work thatβs when it is less crowded. They have electronic scales, showers and lockers located in the restrooms. Check out the smoothie bar for yourself that has a variety of choices!

Good gym decent amount of equipment well taken care of. Couple of things though and this is more of Braggs fault rather than the gyms but it needs to be 24hrs seriously if it was 24/7 it wouldn't be so dam packed all the time. I've never been to a gym where it is so packed that every single machine and barbell rack is taken. Really the worst when you literally can't do your workout everytime I go I immediately want to leave. The crowd isn't good either bunch of muscle headed infantry and SF carrying jugs of water and dropping weights with every set. We get it you're all big stop being a douche. Thank God I'm not stationed here.

I really like this gym started at this gym with my husband when we moved here and will continue to go to this gym even while heβs away. Best times (if you can go) are 8:30am-10am. Itβs usually super packed every other time Iβve been and this is the best times to feel really comfortable without feeling like everyoneβs looking at you. Itβs really small but perfect for me. It has a little bit of everything you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
