I've only been here for basketball tournaments on weekends. It's always a nightmare. Always. Parking is limited. Street parking is not allowed in most nearby streets. There's a parking garage within walking distance. Sometimes it's free and other times there's a charge. Can't figure out how they decide.

Inside, the courts are cramped and loud. During basketball tournaments, it's 80-90 decibels loud. That's enough to damage your hearing if you're in there for a couple of hours. Bring ear protection. Seating is limited to metal bleachers with 3 rows of seats and they're always full. Fortunately, people give their seats up when the game they're watching is over. Just be patient. They're incredibly uncomfortable too. We bring bleacher pads. And people walk right in front of you to get to the other courts because there's no separate walkway. There's no staging area for teams either. If you're waiting to play, you just have to find a spot and hope you're not in the way.

The cost to attend tournaments is determined by the tournament organizer so if you are unhappy about the charge, call or write the organizer to complain. I just paid $20 to watch one game here today that one of my grands played in. You bet I complained to the tournament organizer.

Bathrooms are small for the number of people this building can hold. They were relatively clean and stocked with toilet paper and soap, at least. I'll likely return here for future tournament weekends and hope they do better, altho I don't expect much to change. Good place for multiple basketball games at once, but it’s incredibly uncomfortable to be here.

The entire facility inside and out is filthy. No one is working maintenance. Trash is littered all over the complex. Bleachers are dirty, restrooms had no toilet tissue, trash was overflowing, door handle on entrance door was broken. Disgusting facility to be in especially after paying such a hefty fee.

Took my daughter for volleyball lessons! I’m not taking her back if I am help it. I am very competitive, and push my daughter to see how great she is when she doesn’t even see it! I don’t feel like the coaches did much coaching. My daughter liked her though. It was a 2 hour long trip for us on Tu and Th.. I think things could have been better.
They also have basketball courts in there and the gym get packed on Thursday’s!

I truly dislike Carolina Courts, both locations but this one in particular. Not going to get into the parking situation, it's a given that they don't have adequate parking space. The facility itself is disgusting, cramped, and the seating is terrible. They really should invest in more seating. The bathrooms weren't kept in good order and with the amount of traffic going in and out of there, just made it worst. I don't see what all the hype over Carolina courts is. I understand there isn't much they can do for parking but you have to do better with what you can control.

While I appreciate the amenities offered at this facility, I have noticed a deficiency in communication. I was notified via email about an open gym event scheduled for April 11 from 5 to 9 PM, specifically for basketball. Upon arrival and payment of the entrance fee for my daughter and her friend, they were unexpectedly asked to vacate the court within 30 minutes due to a large team taking over the space. This situation occurred again when they attempted to move to a different court. As a paying customer, I find this lack of organization and conflicting information to be unfair and misleading. I would appreciate clearer communication and adherence to advertised policies in the future. Thank you for addressing this concern.

If you are changing $20 for the games at l least keep the restrooms clean. I know the volume is huge on the game days but everyone is paying to use the facility so I don't think it's a too much to expect the clean restrooms. And on top of that, even after letting the director know nothing restrooms were still the same after several hours.

And if you browse through the comments, you will see that there are several reviews highlighting the same issue over and over. And this is true for both north and south location.

My daughter has spent several seasons in the Concord Volleyball program. The program has improved tremendously in the past year, as well as my daughter's skills. It would be nice, however, if there were more scrimmaging (maybe every third practice or so, and for more than 10 minutes) so the girls can see how they have possibly improved. The lack of scrimmaging or actual matches, and the cost of the program ($$$ each season) are the only reasons I do not give this 5 stars.

Just finished a volleyball tournament here. I'm really surprised that there was no better attention to cleanliness and housekeeping. The place was dirty at the beginning of the event and it got exponentially worse. For a cover of $25 per person, there should be a janitorial service keeping the bathrooms clean and stocked and the trash cans from overflowing. Concessions ran out of things and closed four hours before the tournament was over.

My daughter is on the gold team I paid $300 for 6 wks of open gym. This place is rediculious. They do 30 mins of mediocre warm ups These girls need to be taught skills. They are actually playing maybe 20 mins of real volleyball, and this is suppose to be a gold team???? Carolina courts cancelled 1 of 2 “tournaments” and wasn’t able to reschedule?????? How about you refund some of our money? So our girls haven’t played 1 game until the last night of the season. Giving a 1 because that's the lowest I can. We attended a wrestling event there today, and the building had to be evacuated by the Fire Marshall because they were WAY above their occupancy. No seating, I have a broken leg and I'm in a boot, I had to stand for the majority of our 10 hour day. The middle school tournament had to be totally delayed until the end of the elementary school tournament and wrestlers, their friends and families had to stand outside in the SNOW flurries waiting for reentry. Not enough bathrooms, even with the 4 port-a-potties they brought in. People stood in line for over an hour at the 1 concession stand they had. This was a NCHSAA, North Carolina USA Wrestling, and Team NC sponsored event.. very disappointing, frustrating and dangerous.
