We love Coach Jason & Coach Kelly - it is obvious they are passionate about what they do. They pay attention to each child and make them feel special. I love how they use a 'fun' kind of discipline to help the kids grow. My daughter looks forward to her classes so much- she loves the feeling of accomplishment. Not to mention she gets a great workout, great coaching and has fun. Little life lessons are sprinkled throughout each class and participation from each student is encouraged for repeating these messages!

I have two kids in CMA in Aberdeen. This is by far the best activity I’ve ever put them in! They learn so much and absolutely love every class. The self defense just comes as a bonus. It’s the life skills that are the greatest take away. You can’t get this confidence anywhere else. We love CMA!

We LOVE this place! Since beginning, I have seen my daughters confidence grow tremendously! In the world we live in, it makes me happy to know that she is learning to defend herself. More than that, Coach Jason and Coach Kelly are both amazing working with these kids. They understand the importance of instilling values of confidence, respect, and self control at a young age. I have been attending Carolina Dojo Martial Arts for over 4 years now. As an adult, I was looking for more practical self defense/combat training and knowledge. While I am hoping to never have to use what I have been taught, I believe everything I have learned from Master Jason has inmproved my odds in a dangerous situatioon. My grandson Wesley really enjoys the camaraderie and team spirit led by Coach Kelly and Master Jason. They are so very patient with all the kids in the class, and have a firm but gentle way of keeping them focused on learning their “Skillz” and earning their Ninja stripes! My son has absolutely loved Carolina Dojo! He is 4.5 and expressed interest in karate so we started a few months ago. The classes are so well organized and fun! each class they work on one skill (I.e. focus) which are thought via games and lessons. The kids are super motivated to learn the skill & get their stripe at the end of class ! He has really enjoyed going to karate and I’m so happy he’s found a sport he loves.

Coach Kelly & Jason at Carolina Dojo are absolute Gems! We currently have our 2 children enrolled in their Ninja SKILLZ class. The classes are very organized keeping the children engaged and challenged. Coach Kelly & Jason encourage comprehension/ knowledge, integrity, focus, and good sportsmanship throughout the class. They strategically accomplish this through group interactions such as Dodge Ball and memory exercises. They are both wonderful role models and professional. However, what impresses me the most are the genuine & warm smiles they share with our children for always trying their best. Thank you Coach Kelly & Jason.

Its not a good impression to show a first time student trial that the business owners decided not work or inform their new comers of any changes. I received a confirmation texted a day prior and the afternoon of, and confirmed. My 6yo was really excited and looking fwd to this day in hopes to sign up. But unfortunately, that was not the case. Apparently, this business does not take their profession or code of ethics seriously. Do not recommend.

I have been fortunate to introduce my son to the Martial Arts classes offered at Carolina Dojo. My son is four and has learned many valuable life skills. Throughout his first several months his ability to focus and concentrate has drastically improved. Additionally, Dojo has brought out a side of confidence I had not formerly seen in him. Master Jason and Master Kelly do a fantastic job with all of the kids in the class and every child is treated the same with equal expectations across the board. My daughter has been at Carolina Dojo for over 2 yrs and it has given her so much courage!!! At school (3rd grade) a boy punched her in the arm and she stood her ground and punched him back!!! We have taught her you don't look for trouble BUT,you also stand your ground and NOBODY treats you like that!!! Thank you for the skills she needed to give her the courage to stand up to that bully!!!

I took my kids out after 4 weeks because they weren't learning anything. Every time I would watch they were playing games like dodgeball and running to cones. My kids never learned any techniques or discipline, which is one of the first things they should teach you. And a "uniform" to them is a t-shirt. I took them to the place by steak or eggs in Aberdeen and love it there!

Our son has been a student of Master Jason and Carolina Dojo for almost 4 years now. He recently started the Jr. Black Belt Program and is always excited to go to every session that he attends. The best martial art studio in Moore County (and potentially NC). Grandmaster Jason Landaas is a very gifted teacher/instructor! The kid's program is the best in this area by far! My son has been attending Carolina Dojo for almost 3 years now. We have watched our son grow, mentally, spiritually and physically as he has made Karate a regular part of his life. Carolina Dojo has instilled in him the values and life skills that he needs to grow and mature as a as a 10 year old. It has done wonders for his self esteem. Sparing day is our favorite!
