We absolutely love Charlotte Gymnastics Academy, and one of the biggest reasons is Coach T! She is incredibly kind, patient, and truly goes above and beyond for the kids, not just during class, but outside of it as well. Itβs clear how much she genuinely cares about each childβs growth, confidence, and happiness. Her positive energy and support make such a difference, and our family feels so lucky to have her as a coach. Thank you, Coach T, for everything you do!

The couches are super mean to certain students and make them feel like they are not as good as other students. i would not recommend.

My daughter has thrived at this incredible gym for a solid 6 years. From a budding tumbler to a fierce competitor, she's found a second family of support and lifelong friends. The journey here isn't just about flips and tumbles; it's a path to learning flexibility and valuable life skillsπ

The coaches and staff really care and get to know the kids they work with and this is what I would consider a solid professional training facility! Amazing group of people here and we have done gymnastics in Phoenix and dc academyβs. Very good! Very very good. π

Started out decent, ended not so pleasing. Iβll leave it up to you to observe the environment. Coach Enoch left my child feeling bad for not comprehending what he was saying and she has a learning disability. Iβve communicated this in the past. When I mentioned what happened, his family member at the front desk, excused his actions, was going to have him call me and it never happened. This is why Iβm writing this review. They have lost a lot of people (according to the staff) and I see why. I read reviews and thought those couldnβt be true, but now I see.

Great family oriented gym for children. Coaches really care about the kids. Health and wellness is put before skill and competition which makes for a better athlete. Highly recommend if you are looking. We won't be going anywhere else for a while.

I cannot imagine a more positive and encouraging gymnastics environment than CGA! Our daughter has been training for over 10 years at several different gyms throughout the continent, so we have seen all types of coaches and gym environments. When she visited various gyms around Charlotte, she was immediately certain that CGA was the place she wanted to continue her training. The coaches respect and appreciate that every gymnast is a unique individual developing at their own pace. The gymnasts are challenged appropriately, with a strong focus on conditioning in addition to learning new skills.
The coaches and athletes are extremely supportive of each other. They even work together to clean and care for the gym and equipment, which creates a strong sense of belonging. Coaches take the time to get to know the athletes as people and encourage hard work at school and at home, not just at the gym.
Whether youβre considering a recreational gymnastics class or a competitive team experience, you can feel confident that your child will be respected and cared for while experiencing high quality gymnastics coaching at CGA!

We have been to a lot of gyms in Charlotte and the difference with CGA are their staff and coaches. They take an individualized approach to training that builds lasting relationships. The coaches understand my daughter's strengths and weaknesses in her technique and work tirelessly to help her improve for the next meet . The family oriented atmosphere has allowed my daughter to build lots of new friends awhile keeping a very structured training environment.

I was personally referred by another gymnastβs Family who raves about CGA,
So far, I have been so impressed with CGA. The owner, Coach Enoch knows his families so well that he knew my name even at our first time to the gym.
After having a new foster child coming into my home, I quickly discovered her love for gymnastics. I reached out to CGA and was able to get her in quickly for an evaluation and then placement into an appropriate group for her skill level. I have watched not only her coaches, but all the coaches as they instruct. There is a lot of constructive feedback and praise with the students throughout the practices.
My girl is loving the gym and has had great experiences with Coach Alexis and Coach Kayla. Both who have also made sure to come and meet with me after to give me feedback.
It has been an awesome investment and motivator for our girl and I am so happy to see her Loving being there. It is a high challenge, high support atmosphere.
Outside communication can be a little slow, but I am good with that because I have seen Coach Enoch out on the floor working with kids, talking with parents while they are there and even taking the trash out. He is present in the gym and very accessible in person.
CGA has definitely exceeded my expectations and I know I made the right decision to enroll my girl. π€©

We love CGA! My son took a recreational class once a week, and he absolutely loved it. It was a fantastic way to strengthen his core while he had fun. My daughter has been on the CGA girls' team for a year. It has been awesome. The coaches challenge the girls in a very supportive and encouraging way. The atmosphere is positive and the focus is on all kids doing their personal best. My daughter has learned the value of working hard at something that she's passionate about. She's happy and loves it.

My son has been going to CGA for about 7 1/2 years now. My daughter finally came of age and has been going for the last few months. I was there when ownership changed hands years ago and I must say that this has been one of the best experiences for my family. We first joined as a precursor to martial arts but he decided to stick with gymnastics. The culture is family oriented & not at all like many outfits that cause young gymnasts to burn out. I must say the pricing is also very fair. If you are looking for a place to bring out the best in your child this is the place to go. Coach Enouch has the ability to produce elite athletes while at the same time maintaining a very fun environment - rare ability on all counts. You want to really know what the gym is like...walk in and ask any kid what they think and you will see that this place is "the truth".

Can you say GRAVY TRAIN?? Way too expensive when other gyms such as Charlotte Extreme and Cheer Athletics are affordable. At CGA, I actually watched my daughter self-teach herself during an outrageous $25 tumbling class while the coaches stood around talking and gossiping. The owner works too closely with Mom to make money. No exceptions to the $ rules...EVER! Tumbling at Cheer Extreme is $13 and at Cheer Athletics $10. You can come early and also they have free timbling. Also try Charlotte Flipz, where the previous co-owner now runs her own awesome gym. She was forced to leave CGA after she had a baby. Her exit letter was even written by CGA..The owner also left YMCA with all his athletes, leaving them in a lurch There were 9 students at CGA for $25 each-hmmmm, that's $225 just for that class so of course there was also no attention. May I again say "Gravy Train"!
