I would describe this facility as an “expensive playground”. There is no structure, no professionalism and no consistency.

The owner did not call me back until I made a post on Facebook after trying to get in touch with her.
The only answer I got from owner was “ok”

Classic Gymnastics is amazing! My daughter has been going there for 3 years and enjoys every class!!! I love that they let the parents stay to observe their kids if they choose. Makes me feel like they care about the well being of the children.

Absolutely love the fun energetic atmosphere and opportunity for growth for my daughter. I would recommend 100% for anyone looking to get there kids into something athletic at their earliest years. Best place for a kids birthday too!

Special shoutout to Coach Andre for his patience and excitement toward the growth and progress of the kids. We decided on reserving a time for my daughters 3rd birthday, and Andre’s ability to engage and excite the kids and bring the kids and parents together for fun and games made it the best party we could have asked for! We are more than willing to do this again for the 4th birthday too!

My daughter joined gymnastics here for 2.5 years. We love Coach Andre. He is knowledgeable, enthusiastic and supportive. I love to see my daughter increases her flexibility and builds strength.

My daughter had birthday party here as well. Kids had a blast. You have 15 mins to set up before party start so I put everything in a plastic containers. It's easy to take stuff out and bring gifts back to the car. If you are looking for the place that you can have private birthday party (big or small), clean area, clean restroom, enough parking lot and reasonable price. I recommend Classic Gymnastics You won't regret!!

I was 2 when i started gym and i left when i was about 8 i went to a new gym i was with the adults i was very very advanced but i couldn't go to a new and better class because i knew everything- and i had to redo everything because when new kids come WE HAVE to redo everything trying to catch this new girl hew isn't that good which WE HAVE to wait for her to get good until another girl comes i am a professional dancer and i help teach girl hew are VERY good if i had to say something it would be to please please put the other girls that are new into another area and let the better girls and boys do something we don't really know im not that old and i HAD to leave because of this

Made a payment agreement with them, and then they tried to pull full amount from my account without authorization. Instead of getting back in contact with me they sent out a summons for money owed. Horrible owner and would not recommend as money is all that is cared about not the actual athletes or families that keep the place running. I know many who have switched to Step Ahead and like their buisness more.

Great place for kids to learn gymnastics. Coach Andre definetly the best coach my daughter only had a few classes with him and she learned so much that when I enrolled her here in FL she was able to move to advance classes. We were sad we had to move unexpectedly. Definetly recommend this place 😊😊

Sam is THEE BEST COACH EVER! In one afternoon Sam helped my daughter gain 3 skills, regain her confidence, and fall in love with the sport again.
I saw my child smile during and after practice. It was a magical experience. Sam is everything that a gymnastics coach should be for a gymnast. She was firm, instructive, and had a sense of humor. Her leadership inspires a gymnast to do more and be more.
There is also the added bonus of her being a gymnast capable of demonstrating the skills and making it look easy.
I recommend Sam as a go-to coach, a motivator, and a compassionate support capable of building gymnastics skills and nurturing the self-esteem of young athletes.

My daughter recently started in December and absolutely loves this place! I am impressed as well. I can REALLY appreciate that the instructors actually fully demonstrate how to execute the moves. I find that is not the case for other places we have tried. The class ratios and 1-hr session is the perfect amount of time allotted, and the monthly tuition is very reasonable. The instructors keep the gymnasts engaged the whole hour with no lag time (only one water break). The fact that they have a vending machine onsite in case you forget to pack water or an evening snack...is a BIG plus. :) The extra events (sleepover, performances, etc) hosted there throughout the year, we are really excited about and looking forward to....

Teachers are always friendly and knowledgeable. My children enjoy going here every week. The owner is very sweet and always helps us any way possible. My son and his neighbor friend enjoy the summer camps. They are fun for the kids and easy for scheduling because you can pick certain weeks to attend.
We have had multiple birthdays done at Classic Gymnastics and its always a huge hit, the kids have a blast and its easy for the hosting parents because you just bring in your food and gifts and everything else is done for you. Love this place.

I absolutely LOVE Classic! We tried Step Ahead first about 6 yes ago and our daughter hated it. But we moved to Classic and she would be so excited for her classes and open gym on Fridays. They even do sleepovers as well. Mrs. Denise and all of the staff and instructors know what they are doing, are fully trained and work so well with the kids. Makes a huge difference and brings a smile to your face and warmth to your heart when you see the confidence they have instilled in your child. If I could give 100 stars, I would.

My daughter was instructed at Classic Gymnastics and Step Ahead during our previous tour in Jacksonville. When we returned, we enrolled again in Classic Gymnastics. The instructors are focused on teaching and mentoring. The environment is more family friendly. We've been very pleased with the instruction and the communication at Classic. My son, also enrolled, nearly never misses an "open gym" session on Fridays in addition to his scheduled class.

I went down to this gym trying to get information to sign my daughter up. The place smelled like sweat, and seemed very dirty. There were two girls behind the counter. One was texting on her cell phone, and the other didn't even look up to acknowledge me while I stood there. Needless to say, I walked out.

I went to another gym in the area, and was immediately greeted as I walked in. The person I dealt with there was friendly, and the gym seemed much less chaotic.

I have to say something positive among all this negativity. On the cleanliness issue, the mats have been replaced as of summer 2012, and the bathroom has always been clean every time I've been there. The instructors I've encountered have been kind and caring and have emphasized safety, as opposed to my experience with their competition in J-ville, Step Ahead Gymnastics. I did a mommy and me type class last year and this coming school year my 3yo will be participating in Mighty Mites, so I'm obviously happy with the place.

The quality of instructors is really hit or miss. My son was in the 4 year old class and I moved him around throughout the week to try to find a good instructor. It's amazing how much the classes varied from instructor to instructor! None were wonderful, a few were decent, some I refused to have instruct my son. They just don't seem to care about their job. I have encountered other workers at various birthday parties who were outstanding so there is potential. My main fault with the instructors is their seemingly lack of concern for safety. Kids engage in their activities far too close to each other. Run ins are common. I would second the cleanliness comment of the previous post. My son refused to use the bathroom there because he said it stunk. I shuddered to see all the kids walking around barefoot. However, the owner is extremely friendly and seems like a nice person. I do plan on trying again with my daughter when she's older. Maybe there will be a change of instructors by then.
