Do not attend their free trial class. I have never had a business hound me with calls for weeks on end like this, more desperate than the most aggressive telemarketer. Even if you’re clearly not interested, they will never leave you alone.

I placed my Pilates membership on hold during my maternity leave and was assured multiple times that I would not be charged. Despite those promises, I was billed anyway. When I contacted staff, I was told I would receive a refund and a call from a manager to resolve the issue—neither ever happened. Weeks later, I’m still out the money and have had zero follow-up. This is not only unprofessional but shows a complete disregard for new mothers and customers in general. I would caution anyone considering this Pilates studio—if you value honesty, accountability, and respectful treatment, look elsewhere.

I'm extremely disappointed with how Club Pilates handled my wife's membership — especially during a sensitive and important time in our lives.
Despite her doctor’s approval, she was initially discouraged from continuing her classes while pregnant. We respected their caution, but it was frustrating that this decision contradicted medical clearance.
Worse, we were told the account would be frozen after the baby was born — only to discover that we were billed for six more months. Multiple requests for a refund were made, and we were repeatedly told there were notes on file — yet no one seemed to have the authority to resolve the issue. Each follow-up felt like starting from scratch.
This experience has shown a complete lack of accountability and communication from the staff. For a brand that promotes wellness and care, this situation has been nothing but stressful and disappointing.

I decided to try this gym out despite the negative reviews. All I have to say is listen to those reviews. They will charge you the current month and next month to cancel. As when you give them the written notice they require they'll request it in a different form. Spent a lot of money to barely feel a workout unfortunately. Would recommend spending your money on other pilates opportunities as i have had more success with that.

Be very careful when canceling your membership. If you try to cancel from your application you will not be able to, you will have to go in person to the studio to hear that they will charge you not only for the current month but for the next month as well even if you have instructions from the doctor that you cannot move your spine because you have advanced arthritis. You will pay (if the membership is 150) $300.00 but if your membership is $200.00 you will pay $400.00 even if you do not attend a single class in those two months. Be very careful!!!

I am new to Club Pilates but so far I love it. I enjoy the reformer and really getting a chance to focus on engaging my core which I typically find challenging. When I’m waitlisted for a class I usually get in and I wish could find time to do one more class per week bc I really look forward to it. The only thing I would change is I wish the instructors had a mic! I would definitely recommend this place and already have to my mom and a couple friends. 💓

I had the pleasure of meeting Jennifer Smith the manager. She helped me decide the best plan for my daughter for her birthday. She even printed out a little certificate for me to have something for her to open. She was knowledgeable, patient and very sweet.

The customer service today was terrible. The from desk lady Becky talked to me in a condescending way regarding not being able to attend class. I have been trying to get in a class for over a week and been on the waitlist as number 6. But still wasn’t enrolled into a class until last minute that I can attend the 9 am class so of course already had plans and then had to rush to class. Was told that because I was 7-8 minutes late I was unable to attend. I asked if I could end my membership with Becky and she advised me that I have to email them to end my membership in a sarcastic snarky way.

Not for me and I am sorry I wasted my money…
My experience: you will be waitlisted for 75% of the classes and then there is a 50/50 chance you will get in so you can’t plan your day until the night before. Level 1 instructors are fine, do not expect much attention. If you try a higher level like I did, I was told my form was bad so go back to level 1, although at that level you get no individual attention and again in is difficult to get in the classes. Overall I love the concept of a reformer Pilates class, and know I would thrive, but the execution at this location is frustrating. I can not recommend it.

Club Pilates has been life changing for me. I joined because I was looking for an alternative to physical therapy for my hip. I was already on track for a hip replacement but knew I needed to retain and strengthen the musculature in my core and legs just to maintain where I was. Pilates not only extended the time between surgeries for me, it developed my core strength far beyond what it had ever been. While I love all the instructors at Club Pilates, Christie Hollinger, is my go-to. She’s passionate about Pilates and truly believes in bringing everyone to their best self. I’ve seen other reviews that kinda throw her under the bus, but I’m of the belief that those people are not serious about their own gains and are in search of a cheerleader more than anything. If you are looking for a life change, a body change, or just a mental escape, this is the place for you! I’m a regular. Pick a spot next to me. I will be your cheerleader if that’s what you need, but I promise you, your body needs Pilates more.

My husband Dace and I have been attending classes at Club Pilates for over a year. We have the 100 Club T-shirts to prove it! :) We love the instructors! They are very well trained and teach in a way that is challenging but doable for people at all levels of fitness. The front desk staff members are personable and willing to help with sign-ins, promotions and all the extras! Through our classes at Club Pilates High Point, we have noticed a huge difference in our flexibility, core strength and overall fitness. We highly recommend this place and the people!

[Update: 10/29, responding to Club Pilates' response on 10/27]
To potential practitioners, especially those of color, please read this update before considering this studio.
I am disheartened by the content of Club Pilates' response. While I respect the studio's 5-minute late entry policy, my feedback was never solely about my tardiness. The allowance given to me by the front desk indicates I was within the studio's acceptable grace period. My pressing concern remains the demeaning behavior I encountered from Christie, the instructor.
Your emphasis on the lateness policy misses the heart of the issue: the inappropriate treatment I endured in class. It goes beyond feeling "unsettled"; it's the public humiliation and clear singling out I faced. I've come to know, both through personal accounts and other reviews, that I'm not the first to voice concerns about Christie's conduct. The apparent dismissal and lack of genuine apology for this recurring behavior are deeply concerning.
Studios should not hide behind policies to justify or overlook an instructor's improper conduct. I genuinely hope Club Pilates takes such feedback more seriously in the future and implements measures that truly make every member feel valued and respected.
[Original review:
I've attended several Club Pilates locations, always leaving rejuvenated. Unfortunately, my experience at Club Pilates Highpoint was deeply unsettling. As the only Asian in a predominantly white class, I felt targeted and discriminated against. The instructor - Christie Hollinger, publicly reprimanded me for slight tardiness, despite being informed of a 5-minute grace period. Her remarks when I adjusted my reformer were both aggressive and inappropriate, further singling me out.
Post-class, instead of addressing her behavior or offering an apology, she deflected by focusing on my arrival time. Management also chose to side with her when I voiced my concerns. Workouts like pilates should uplift both physically and mentally, but I left this session feeling belittled and dejected. I urge potential attendees, especially those from diverse backgrounds, to consider my experience before choosing Club Pilates Highpoint.]

Instructor Lynn, super rude! Her words “I’m not going to stupify the class because you didn’t read what you booked” in front of the whole class, saying this to paying customers that booked an advanced class and it was actually their first time there. There are ways to say things respectfully to people. I’m appalled by this behavior. I’m leaving this review on behalf of someone else that actually took the class this morning.

A membership that is not worth the price tag and misleading reviews.
1) half of the reviews for this studio are from the front desk staff
2) if you want to try a new work out and have a condescending drill sergeant of an instructor this is your studio! Christie unfortunately teaches every day and I leave class feeling worse about myself than when I came in. She is dismissive, condescending, and annoying. It is not a positive environment when I take her classes.
3) All the good instructors have left! Claudia, Katie, and Kathryn were incredible instructors but all left and I now have to go to the Greensboro studio if I was to take their classes.
4) THE STUDIO IS DIRTY. The floors and equipment are covered in dust, dandruff, and hair! When we do mat work it is disgusting looking over at the floor.
It is not worth paying $199 a month to be talked down to and work out in a dirty space.
